Ivanovic doesn't seem to have enough pace for Bale, like most of us predict.
-
You can't say anyone has been bad, but the cunts just got lucky.
-
Just want to say on this Mourinho vs. Ranieri argument that Carlo won more in his first season spending less money than either. "King Carlo, more than Special"

Three points is the major thing. I doubt Arsenal can make up 6 GD in four games and if things were to go the way we need them to for GD to even matter United would lose GD against Arsenal and if we beat them, anything we beat them by is doubled in terms of net GD because we gain one and they lose one. If things go the way we need them to the only thing we need to worry about in terms of GD is United running up the score against Blackpool. Also Arsenal are on craptastic form whilst we look to be hitting form. Anyway I think the race is over, I'm not counting on Arsenal to get a result against United, I'd rely more on Blackburn or Blackpool.

Sorry, don't know why I thought he was right sided.
-
It's from Sky, so good signs. I'd prefer him over van der Wiel or any of our current right backs, but only because Ivan needs to learn to attack or play CB.
-
-
Like I said earlier, lets not rush him back, we simply don't need to right now.
-
Rather have Contrao and maybe we could strike another deal with Benfica. I have to say that I do think we need a right back, Paolo is getting old and Bosingwa hasn't really made the grade since his injury. Ivanovic can't attack and we need a player who can take advantage of the freedom our right back is given and whip good balls in regularly with them all focusing on Ashley.
-
To be fair to him he hasn't gotten a run in the side and when he started getting on a roll, injury hit. That being said he is a spare part, we don't need him and I think it would be better for both parties if he leaves.
-
I doubt Carlo is going to drop Malouda, unless he's planning to go Mikel Lampard - Malouda Anelka Drogba - Torres Which I hope he isn't because Malouda's form has been in goal-scoring, not creating. Plus Anelka's been pretty woeful lately. le Sulk has returned.
-
No, it's called Retro for a reason, it belongs in the past.
-
This is maybe what I miss most about him.
-
What worries me about those comments is he said: "We are not a club used to selling our stars but we will look at any interesting offers" That to me says that his release clause isn't 5m because in my view that isn't an "interesting offer" for this player.
-
Didn't like number one either, but we won the Double in it, so it grew on me.
-
Cant drop Malouda now that he's finally hit form. I'd go Cech Luiz - Ivanovic - JT - Cole Benayoun - Mikel - Lampard Drogba- Malouda Torres No need to rush Ramires back with our players all hitting form. Also I'd like Luiz to handle Bale, think he can and I don't trust Ivanovic's pace. Plus Luiz's lapses won't matter too much on the right.
-
To be honest Ramos isn't that great at defending and I agree with NoFear, he's the type of player who wants space in behind and we don't really have that nor do we play on the counter.
-
The only thing is that he was passing into space behind the back four, when we play it doesn't exist. Still quality passing from him though.
-
Why does his face look fat in that photo, he was thin when he was here, probably just the photo. Anyway, great for him, don't see him getting in here anymore with Luiz, maybe if Alex leaves.
-
If you asked other fans they'd put Fernando in one of those lists. Anyway, I think you've got it spot on, but Sturridge is definitely one of the top signings, even if it is on loan.
-
He actually seems frightened by his own fans, feel sorry for him.
-
Who would you pick: Aguero, Neymar, or Lukaku

Petr Cech 8 - Made some important saves that could have been a disaster had they gone in. Player of the Season Branislav Ivanovic 6 - Not the good solid Ivan I'm use to, didn't offer enough in defence or attack for me. David Luiz 7.5 - Got through a test today, could have struggled in the rain. But made some interceptions and read the game well. John Terry 7 - Nice and solid. Ashley Cole 7 - Good at the start, but faded unfortunately, good cross for the opener. John Obi Mikel 8 - Great as always, the new Mr. Reliable. Micheal Essien 6 - Same as Ivan Frank Lampard 7 - Got the goal, but was a bit quiet for me. Better than a lot of his recent performances. Soloman Kalou 5 - Bad, offered nothing in attack and was shaky in the little defending he did. Didier Drogba 7 - Played worse than expected, but still good and had his moments. Florent Malouda 8 - One of my favorite players, good finish and good to see him returning to Malouda of old. SUBS Fernando Torres 9 - Man of the Match in 15 minutes, made a massive impact and settled the game down when we looked nervy. Nicolas Anelka 6 - Should have had a goal, but he helped Torres break his duck so +1. Yossi Benayoun 6 - Not much impact, I'm sure he'll be better when he's had a few starts.
-
He was great today, what he had to do he did well. A few times at 1-0 West Ham could have scored and it could have been a disaster. Definitely my player of the Season.
