  1. Mourinho - "[Nothing special about this game being good for Cech to play], he's good to play every game; don't be surprised if he does"
  2. Mourinho confirmed in the pre-Schalke PC that contract negotiations are on, and that both parties want to commit to each other.
  3. You guys underrate the role of Jorge Mendes in all this.
  4. Not sure what the issue is with quoting external text so I'll just copy-paste this. The England U21 international admits he could stay on past that point, but he is determined to prove to Jose Mourinho that there is a place for him within the star-studded ranks in west London. Chalobah said: “It puts us both in a good position, me and the club, we’ve just got to see how things go. “I’m a Chelsea player and I’m always going to have that belief I can play for Chelsea, that’s not going to change. “At the end of the day, there are world class players there at the minute and I’m still really young. “I’m trying to learn as much as I can with all the loans I’ve had and take as much experience as I can out of it, so for me it is more about developing as a player and a person and I’ll always go back to Chelsea and compete for a place and if it doesn’t work out I’ll take the experience I’ve had on loan and from playing games to push my career forward. “To try and come here and give a good impression could obviously put me in a better position when I go back, but at the minute for me it is more about coming here and keeping my head down and working as hard as I can and doing as best as I can for the club and pushing the club forward. “Chelsea is my club and I think for every player that’s there, there is always the opportunity and I will always have that belief. “For me coming up here now, I have to think less about Chelsea at the minute and just focus on Burnley because this is where I’m at until January, and possibly a bit longer, so I need to concentrate on Burnley. “Playing in the Championship taught me a lot and Sean Dyche has given me the opportunity now to step up and test myself in the Premier League, so I’m going to give it everything I’ve got.” http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/9471540/transfer-news-burnley-loanee-nathaniel-chalobah-sees-future-at-chelsea Top attitude.
  5. That penalty was the linesman's call. As shit as Dean undoubtedly is, his shittery in that game was even handed. We should've had a penalty when Larsson blatantly pushed Ramires over in the box but then he should've sent Ramires off shortly after for a forearm smash.
  6. But there are mitigating circumstances. PSG away first half he was our best player. PSG home he got injured 10 mins in. Didn't play Atletico away; played Atletico home half-fit. Season before, he was new to the team.
  7. I like the look of this Kouyate fellow. Strong, quick, mobile, aggressive.
  8. OMG :woo: I need to grab some tickets for this now
  9. Eh I think it's 13-0 against some small unpronounceable team. At least that's what I remember from FM
  10. Carvalho? Stam? Hierro? Desailly?
  11. Individual highlights - all touches http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR3pufdLnjE
  12. Well, because it takes time for an above-average-but-not-great squad to gel and find the consistency a title tilt requires. Their problems were exacerbated by a high turnover of players and the manager's relatively poor transfer dealings. What happened at Inter - I don't have a clue.
  13. To be fair to Tubby, he was never blessed with the quality of squads Carlo had at his disposal. Some of his Milan players were absolute legends playing at the top of their game, he had a similar setup at Chelsea and France was a walkover because PSG. Give Carlo the early 2000s Valencia squad and he would've done nothing.
  14. Him being spineless is hurting Madrid just like it hurt us in 10-11.
  15. ^You make your own luck. If one red card makes you 'lose momentum' for 3 years, you've got to look at something else ... fortitude and talent, for a start. He didn't work out here because he was shit. Luck had fuck all to do with it.
  16. What a weekend for us. Now United to fuck up tomorrow for the lulz
  17. Question to him after the game : 'Your relationship with Diego Costa is really fruitful, you've assisted for the 6th consecutive game, blah blah ... how do you feel?' Fabregas : 'I don't know, I just want to win trophies.'
  18. This is how genuinely professional footballers at top clubs react to the prospect of competition. Some others demand loans and moves back to a cushy environment.
