  1. You must read this. Ex-Spurs, ex-Blackburn Pascal Chimbonda's twitter. Comedy gold, though I'm not sure that's what the lad sets out to achieve.
  2. A timely word on the matter ... Educate yourselves.
  3. He played as a trialist, if they like him the clubs will thrash out a loan deal.
  4. You can check Lampard off that list too - don't reckon he's ever been what you'd call a 'creative' midfielder. Yossi is decent but cannot be looked upon to do the business consistently in a 50+ match season. Kakuta and Josh are exciting prospects but it remains to be seen what the manager thinks of them and whether they actually play a part this season. For me it's clear - we desperately need a true trequartista, I'd even call it our most pressing need.
  5. That white shirt could have been much classier without the ugly giant Mazda logo.
  6. Shame, would have been an incredible comeback story.
  7. Yup all comes down to the 2000 odd they asked the question to. David Beckham - the second biggest hero of the last decade!
  8. Honoured you chose to quote me. If I were the finicky type, I'd be a trifle concerned about your apparent obsession with me, but I'm not, so carry on
  9. Link Ashley Cole came 3rd in the list, btw.
  10. They're completely different types of players, don't know what this comparison is about, tbh.
  11. Yes we are a racist country, never disputed that. Don't think any sane person would deny it, tbh.
  12. I don't know, to me it's less about wanting something you don't have, more about being almost apologetic about what you already have. Yes the word means 'black' but it's not the word itself, it's the way in which it is spoken that gives away the true intention behind saying it. "Ae kaalia idhar aa" is racist as far as I'm concerned. True, but there again it's a different thought process where white women are concerned. There's a perception among the more rural folks for example that white women are outgoing, in a slutty kind of way. They're objects of desire, to put it bluntly.
  13. Yeah that's true. We're a land of contradictions Not surprised, it is a common trait among Indians to feel superior to Blacks.
  14. Now Corinthians say there's no £40 million bid and no such bid has been accepted by City
  15. LOL talk about stirring up drama. "New Chelsea boss says he will win the CL this year!" Shame I got taken in
  16. And the irony is, they aren't even in Manchester. :giggle:
  17. 1. You have no way of being sure yet, mate. 2. True 3. Roman had wanted Torres much before Carlo even came to Chelsea. Just to be clear, I'm not saying we require Aguero. I'm not sure how he fits into AvB's 4-3-3 anyway. His wages is another problem altogether. What I'm merely saying is, if it indeed came down to Roman wanting him, he's not going to pay attention to whether we need him.
  18. First you admit we're obsessed with white skin, then you say 90% aren't. Bit contradictory there. To my mind, being obsessed with white skin reveals a deep seeded dislike for one's own appearance and indeed those of others who happen to be dark. Why are South Indians referred to derogatorily as "kaalia"? It's often passed off as being merely in innocence and jest, but is it really? I don't think so, not in some cases any way. Have you seen the way in which Blacks are portrayed in the entertainment mediums here? Tell me that's not due to an inherent superiority complex we feel we have over them. And you say most people would 'go bezerk' if someone from the family happened to have a white girlfriend. Why so? Is that not unfair bias against a race? The white skin bias for me is a metaphor for our approval of anything and everything Western. I never said all Indians are racist, that is naturally impossible in any country of the world. Certainly there's little or no racial violence here, unless the subject of race gets mixed with alleged religious propaganda, which is a volatile cocktail (eg. Graham Staines,1999).
  19. As if Roman is really going to bother about whether we "need" Aguero. Did we "need" Torres? No. Did he buy him? Yes.
