    Am I the only one that isn't bothered in the slightest he's done well?

    Fair play to him for doing what he has done but players can leave and do well without it being a mistake, how many Barca fans do you reckon lose any sleep over Yaya, Cesc, Sanchez or Ibra? Let alone create a reaction some have in this thread?

    And who knows what will happen next season, after all we only went out to PSG on away goals after conceding a couple of set pieces.

    The result was that but the real reason was sitting on our flimsy lead, being unable to control a game against 10 men. It was embarrassing watching them run rings around us on our home patch. Heading into this season my number one choice for a transfer was a CM to help Matic and Fabregas out and while the pursuit of Stones is welcome I'd still really like us to put a tick next to this box. Hell I'd be happy with recalling Moses, promoting Traore and forsaking Pedro if it meant we'd land Witsel/Aranguiz.

    Absolute no brainer for me, even if we have to chuck in the extra £5m or so. Things like current playing time for him and Zouma won't matter in the long run when we've secured our CB partnership for the next 10 years.

    I don't mind it. It looks okay to me, gotta have the sponsors logo so it's okay.

    Not so much the logo, just the colour. The red just doesn't sit well surrounded by a sea of blue. It looks nice against the white background on the away kit though. The entire sponsor bit on the home shirt (logo + name + 'tyres') would look fine had it been all white.

    So you're saying: At the moment we are not buying so let buy some random shit just so for the reason that he is available! I personally am against this signing as are others, You are for it and I'm sure that many others are for it aslo! Not sure but that's how society and forums per se works! Some people are for something and some are against it! Yes it's not up to them and someone else will decide on the particular ! That does not mean that some have to agree with it!

    Not sure why you're going into the philosophy about life and forums, lol. Point out the part where I stated anything to the effect that my opinion is what counts and they have to be agreed with ... so thanks, but I don't need that lecture. I was merely irritated with the numerous "ah yes, good he's not coming" type posts and said so :)

    Also, the bulk of my post lists out reasons why I'm for the move, so if that somehow comes across as 'random' to you, well okay.

    - actually plays the fucking position

    - quite good

    - fairly affordable

    - is open to a move

    I don't see why there wouldn't be room for both. Matic-Cesc-Witsel-Aranguiz to rotate deeper midfield positions and I'd bet Fabregas to often play AM as well so there would probably be more than enough minutes for Ramires too.

    That leaves no room at all for RLC and Mikel, who the BBC reported as staying.
