would be a great signing in my eyes and obviously Carlo`s, the man who picks our team and knows what the team needs more than anyone else,so that`s all that matters to me. i`ve supported the club too long to have man-crushes on individual players and get upset if they don`t get to play every week.....Carlo was a great midfielder who played with some of the greatest players of all time..and coached many great, world class players..i think he`s more than qualified to have better judgement of players than any of us.

scrolling down to read the comments from the Forest fans..they expecting Matic to go there on loan aswell...i don`t see Matic going out on loan personally, but can see why Bertrand would..he should have gone to a premiership team though,perhaps none have come in for him but i personally think he`s good enough to start for several premiership sides. is good to have so much talent at LB the way we have,but is a shame a quality player like Bertrand can`t find a place in our first team squad...with us having the best LB in the world tho he either needs to accept that he won`t get a sniff at being first choice for atleast 3 or 4 years (and even then will be battling against Van Aanholt) or leave the club permanently sometime soon.

big clubs like Chelsea did and do know players before they appear on the largest stages..that`s why they tried to get him before the WC ,why they paid 5 million for Kalas when almost everyone on here had never heard of him..the list of names that could be used for examples of why football scouts are employed to find emerging stars rather than average fans who spend most of their time focusing on the end product, is endless really.. outside of scouts though, i`m sure plenty of football fans (including myself) around the world had heard of Ramires prior to the WC. .Brazil don`t select players from total obscurity for their WC squads..he had just won the Portuguese title with Benfica last season,breaking Porto`s stranglehold on the title..and starred in the Confedirates Cup in 2009. only concerns i have with Ramires is that we need to sign him directly from Benfica,so they need to buy out the other current part-owners of him before we can do so... and the fact he`s played pretty constantly for 2 years now and something like 100 games without a proper rest..he is knicknamed the Blue Kenyan due to his stamina..but even so..that is a slight concern for the short term future..he can be eased into our team tho..we don`t have to rush him in due to the relative weakness of our opponents in the first month of the PL season.

that`s all i`m asking..i explained why he didn`t play so much last year and why those reasons don`t apply so much this year..(barring the injuries part,which no one can foresee at this point). he will in all probability play more this year..but according to the post i replied to earlier it doesn`t appear that you have the faith in Carlo to select him this upcoming season,that i have..due to him not playing so much last year.

Let`s rate Carlo on what Carlo has done rather than previous managers..Carlo has won the double in his first season whilst giving several younsters their 1st team chances...sure Arsenal & Milan would have given him more games and they`ve won the title when? not since they`ve given so many youngsters large portions of games. at Barca they have plenty of good young players who they bleed in gradually..perhaps the likes of Bojan played more than our youngsters..but the spanish league overall isn`t as good as the english..Barca have about 6 games a season where they have to put out their best team..Chelsea have about 20-25 in their league season. Kakuta will play more games than he did last year of that i`ve no doubt,unless injuries take that option out of Carlo`s hands..like at times it did last year. Carlo needed to win the title in his first two years..now he has already reached that target..he will have more room for error this year and therefore more oppurtunities for the youngsters,which has been indicated by the fact that several experienced players have been let go,with more likely to follow,without bringing in experienced players to replace them.

so you don`t want a right footed midfielder to be bought because you think he would be in direct competition with a left footed Midfielder in Matic ,who you state has great potential..of which i agree he has.. but on the other hand you want a "playmaker/midfield maestro" when we have two with great potential in Kakuta & McEachran.. Ramires would give us great flexibility and something we are short on..right footed midfielders to either play on the right side of a 3 man midfield or RM in a diamond..all of which he could play at and do well aswell as DM if he`s really needed there in the future, if injuries re-occur to Mikel and Essien.

remember folks it`s the first pre-season game for many of our starters..so try not to freak out and give yourselves a stroke,if the performance doesn`t go as you expect it.

Salary. Aguero, despite his public show of affection towards our club..would expect twice the salary Neymar would be offered/expecting to join us..and that`s not mentioning the Transfer fee and signing on bonus etc..

well i`d play for free too.. i`m 34, so nobody can say i`m inexperienced. i`ve got a shot like Johnny Metgod. pace that can live with anyone over a yard or two...after about 3 or 4 yards i`m keeled over coughing my guts up..but at 6 foot 1 and just over 200lbs i`m atleast an obstacle that the opposition would have to get around rather than through. and i satisfy the "homegrown" rule..
