But even looking at Bayern Munich, he won't break into their first team any time soon either. Like you said, it's easier for him to break into our little squad this season. Also, I don't see how a move to AC Milan will be any better for his development.. Their attack has; Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Ronaldinho, Pato and even Inzaghi. Of which only 2 play in the current formation, at a time. How he'd break through there, I don't understand. Illogical move.

Let him go! He's not getting his chance to prove himself here (with Paulo Ferreira getting the nod over him at centre back), so let him to it at PSV. PSV have a habit of establishing young talent, he's also dutch, they can only improve him as a player. As they did with Alex. I pray Chelsea listen to him.

The one thing I liked about Hasslebaink was his partnership he formed with Gudjohnsen. I think that was vital to his success. We haven't really seen that kind of partnership at the club for a while, Anelka and Drogba, while good on the pitch, they don't have the same chemistry Hass-Gud did. Then again we play 4-3-3 now so we wouldn't really expect that kind of link up play.

This will only get worse now that FIFA have lifted the rules on Agents having to be registered (or some sh*t like that). It will make our transfer policy very difficult too, we've seen Abramovich tightening the transfer-kitty, if we have to cover, club, player & agent fees then negotiations for players will be very difficult. Especially since agents are usually money-hungry monsters

I feel sorry for this generation of youth because they know much chances won't come. What they don't realise is they're a stepping stone in our youth development progress. Right now the attraction for young stars to come to Chelsea is minimal, they've seen the lack of chances we give compared to ManUtd or even Arsenal. Hence why, when usually given a choice, we're not so high up on a young star's dream. However with the progress that's being made, seeing youth come into the team making their impacts can only benefit the appeal of this club to young players.

Exactly. Personally I don't think to be a "true fan" if you go to the stadium, because let's be honest, it's expensive. But as long as you show you're with the club through thick and thin then that's all I really expect from someone who calls themselves a Chelsea fan.

Quite ironic a Man Utd fan is complaining about glory hunters at another club. 90% of Manchester United fans can't name more than 11 players. They support the brand not the club, we have that problem, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona. All footballing giants have their share. It makes it kind of hard to differentiate the difference to be honest. I say I'm not a glory hunter, because I supported this club before Abramovich came with his millions and stood by them. There are some fans who came to the club after Abramovich and I don't resent them. Because most of those fans grew to love the club, they watch every game, they don't turn away in defeat etc.

That's what I'm wondering. The expectation will be a great deal bigger for our transfers. Though I don't mind if he can find us another Scott Dann (or get us Phil Jone)
