  1. Fantasy football. Does this mean he in fact, would like it? O.o
  2. LOL where did talk of Lampard leaving come from?!
  3. Really hope his first goal comes versus United, we could certainly use it..
  4. Smalling has been very good for United recently. Not like that thug Johnny Evans, who's only way to stop Drogba is by kicking him in the chest
  5. We should only sell him for minimum £15milion. We'd make a loss, but at least we'd keep it as minimal as possible.
  6. Don't worry, mods would merge them anyway
  7. I get what you mean. Well my interpretation (and belief) is not to get brands like Chelsea as a tattoo, because they're exactly that, brands. A tattoo should be something which is personal to you, perhaps with a hidden meaning, but some connection to you personally. Not that I'm knocking anyone who has a Chelsea tatt. Just my own personal view
  8. Dude, there's is already a Zhirkov thread. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/9032-yury-zhirkov/
  9. to Ronaldo's credit, he has cut that habit out in La Liga this season. Nani on the other hand..
  10. That's what I'm nervous about. While there's no denying Ramires's quality, I'm not sure he's defensive enough to handle Nani. That's why I'd make sure both Mikel and Essien play to deal with that width threat
  11. Tuesday really was a good day for Ivanovic! It was his 27th birthday, he enjoyed a comfortable victory & it marked his 100th appearance for us!
  12. Me neither, but when you've got Nani bombing down the right and Rooney linking up with Berbatov it helps to overcrowd the midfield. Cut off the supply instead of the target.
  13. For United Čech // Ivanović - Luiz - Terry - Cole \\ Mikel - Essien \\ Ramires - Lampard - Malouda // Torres
  14. Welcome! Doesn't matter that you haven't been to the Bridge yet, good to hear you watch every match though
  15. Diego Maradona is probably still snorting. Then again, his son-in-law is likely to listen to him so..
  16. Oh TalkSport. Turning into Goal.com now! Malouda's already said his next destination is Brazil
  17. read this in the Metro, was hilarious! The cheek of the boy!
  18. Welcome You were there at the 4-4 game? Lucky fella!
  19. It'll also be important to remember, one season on, means one year on. Their performances will start to be on the decline, so we have to start preparing their replacements.
  20. Wish I could agree, but lack of consistency in the league this season has meant we've literally screwed up every window we've ever had on closing in on a good finish. For example, we play our game in hand vs United and have a chance to go 1pt clear, and 2 off City. I just can't see us picking up enough points to solidify 4th and get a cheeky look in at 3rd, we're simply too inconsistent.
  21. Yeah that was a great pass, but if you look over the whole game, he was quite poor.
  22. Lampard or Terry. They're not leaving the club. True legends. Luiz could go in 2 years for more money, such is the money-driven game we watch now.
  23. Mourinho's an interesting case for me. While there's no doubt he's been on of our best managers in our 106year existence, his time was in the past and I think that's where it belongs. It's quite obvious he'll still love Chelsea, like he'll always love Porto. Porto is where we won his first Champions League title and Chelsea is where he officially became, the best manager in the world. His spell was brief (though with us, currently, it's longer than brief) but it was very successful. He's 48 now, and realistically he has 2 last gigs left. The first is Portugal (his last gig). My belief is, he will not succeed Sir Alex Ferguson, because United will look for a younger coach, to have a long tenure like Mourinho. History shows that's everything Mourinho is not
