  1. Now that he's not a Red, I can be a fan of him again
  2. And to think.. If the OP is to be believed, we almost signed him before Torres
  3. Lennon unhappy with Feruz agents http://soccernet.esp...-feruz-?cc=5739
  4. Such comments have been echoed throughout the forum, yet it's being ignored constantly by most
  5. I had that problem last week, a simple log-out & log-in fixed it.. Interesting that people are having similar issues now though!
  6. He may not have "stormed off", but he certainly left for the tunnel.
  7. I really hope we win this trophy. After all, it's the one that started José's run!
  8. You're right, but apparently he was seen walking down the tunnel after the final sub was made. It led to media prompting headlines such as "Lampard future in doubt" ect.
  9. I knew as soon as your post came up you'd post this. & I can't agree more. The occasion alone makes this goal, truly, the best ever.
  10. 2010. It was the season Malouda actually showed some quality on the left-wing. You can excuse some posts there..
  11. Cheers! Unlucky for that 2nd goal, but surely Messi/Pedro was miles offside?! Perhaps he could've done better for 3rd and 5th, but overall, he can't be blamed entirely. Will make him a stronger keeper to come through that, no shame in being demolished by Messi.
  12. My bad. I've mis-read from SkySports.. "Villas-Boas maintains nothing could be further from the truth, indicating that he will recall Lampard for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Valencia."
  13. In case anyone's counting (coughmediacough) That's 2(2) for Torres.
  14. That doesn't surprise me. Like many have said, he's not very good at defensive intelligence. Especially when it comes to man marking (i.e. Giggs last season). However, like I said, he's hot and cold. He did well vs United last week vs. Ashley Young and this week not so well. He's not the best RB in the world, especially defensively. That's why the holding player is quite crucial, it's his role that allows the full back to attack so much. Edit: The goal was from a set-piece, I see. Well, he's not the first to lose his marker & he won't be the last. I.e. Lampard losing Smalling last week.
  15. Agree about Ramires. Though I think AVB's shot himself in the foot by saying Lampard will play against Valencia.. Most likely meaning he will start the game. Maybe he'll go.. Mikel Ramires - Lampard - Malouda Mata Torres However this is very unlikely, as Ramires would not be ideal to play down the wing.
  16. Ouch, 5-0 hey? How did he do individually though?
  17. I like Bosingwa. Under Villas-Boas he has definitely improved his game. Tbh, he was never renowned for his defending, even in 2008 when he was rated one of the best in the world. Though, remembering the United game, he did very well keeping Ashley Young at bay! So he's not as "clumsy" as being made out. He does need to improve on his crossing. Sometimes his delivery is an absolute gem, other times he'll fail to clear the first defender. Obviously he's not the best RB in the world, but he's not as bad as people are making him out to be. Also, I'm yet to see yesterday's game, which I presume this thread has derived from? P.s. On the note of replacements? Billy Clifford. Definitely can compete with that Scumpool RB Jon Flanagan.
  18. Mata suggested he may play in the hole for this. So I kind of expect.. Cech Bosingwa - Terry - Luiz - Cole Miereles - Lampard Sturridge/Anelka-----------Mata---------------------Malouda Torres
