  1. Fair comment. He is improving though. His technique can easily be improved, as he's still on the up.
  2. It wasn't bashing. It was criticism. I have been a big fan of Mikel before, I'm sure you'll remember. It's like I said, that was in the old system.
  3. Hell, put the u-18's out. I am keen to see Islam Feruz
  4. I would recommend you don't. It's basically an iPhone 4, with a new chip. Same model, same features, different chip. Just save some money and get the 4. And even then, I recommend you get a HTC phone. Android > iOS.
  5. True FB, Barton is as bad as they come. He wasn't sent to jail for a petty crime either. Not disputing what Barton's said though, all quite true.
  6. I don't blame CFC saying no to some of those. Why should they want a CPO for a new ground? It doesn't make sense from their pov. Thought the first point sounds quite fair.
  7. Good to see some negotiations between Israel and Palestine. Though it's saying something when the Israeli's have 1,000 POW to release. As usual the BBC will side with Israel and claim Gilad Shalit a hero..
  8. Nah, don't worry, I understood. Someone else missed the point..
  9. Indeed. What was that JT said about glass houses..
  10. I'm well aware of Mikel's previous position, but let's be fair now, every time we see Mikel get the ball, his instinct is not to go forward. He'll sit back, hold up the play and wait for everyone to be on the other end. This is not a good tactic as it nullifies our chance for counter attack, there were many examples of this in the Everton game. Until we get a more attack minded DM, I don't see Mikel being a solution. Most teams, use their DM as a spark that begins the attack. Busquets and Xabi Alonso are very good at doing this, because they go forward more and can actually play with the ball. Our players are stronger than you give them credit for. Especially Ramires.
  11. The game didn't come down to strength though, imo. Only Fellani was the one who perhaps caused a problem in the aspects of that, but I don't think he would've been a problem had Mikel not played. You're missing my point though. I talk in terms of the pace of the game, where I feel Mikel is slow and his retention tactics aren't valuable in situations where the opposing teams give us gaps to exploit, esp on the counter. Defensively I think the whole team is set up to play without a DMF.
  12. I don't know. Mikel came off in the 76th minute, when we were 3-0 up. When Romeu came on, the pace quickened.
  13. I find it amusing you turn to sarcasm to prove your point, because it makes you look like a child tbh As for your hidden point, Miereles is stronger than you take him for. Just like we thought Ramires wasn't as strong as he looks. I think he would've done an adequate job while keeping the pace of the game alive.. I appreciate you disagreeing, but don't be such a child about it. xD
  14. League Managers' Association chief executive Richard Bevan has warned some foreign owners of Premier League clubs want to scrap relegation from the top flight. Terrible idea imo. Your thoughts?
  15. Excellent man-management & tactician. Oh.. And his intimidation of the referees.
  16. If you looked properly, I only compared Xavi & Mikel because someone compared their stats. Which gave a false image of his role. As for the box-to-box/dmf role. Look at the way we've played this season, when we haven't played Mikel. Where Miereles & Ramires have made up our midfield.. You clearly see a high temp as well as a good defensive unit. He's unneeded in games like these. However I would justify his role against sides who do attack us. The park-the-bus teams like Everton, don't require a holding mid.
  17. It this limited to the PL? If not, McCormak's goal for Leeds on Friday was a cracker! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15326824.stm

  19. What's even more positive is with each game, he keeps growing and growing as a player. Technically, he's not that gifted. But his stamina, pace, strength & work ethic are all benefiting Chelsea. If he develops better skills on the ball, and passing, he can be a top, top, player!
  20. Doesn't look intentional though. Just poorly timed.
  21. Gudjohnsen suffers double leg break Could mark the end of his career :\
  22. Thank fuck Sturridge is finding the back of the net.. Now we have a plan B, if Torres continues to flutter.
