After watching Ivanovic cover there, and looking at some of the crosses he played, I'm convinced he should be our 1st choice RB.

Indeed. Looking back now, even though Foy was unbelievably harsh, we were still accountable for ill-disciplined play.

His inexperience shines through, sadly. Rash tackles & misjudgements in the final third are leaving us with more problems than we should have. Can't fault his heart and his drive at all. The only reason we haven't been more harsh is because of those wild, positive & usually successful bursts he makes from the back to their own third. For example yesterday, he made a run from the back, played Anelka in (who should've shot first time) and then made himself available to bicycle kick that same ball! Though I don't doubt he'll fix up soon, because he does have that potential, I am also being swayed towards the view he could be a more efficient DMF. This position would allow him to make more of those runs & not have to worry about being the last man back.
