Their pressing by Ozil, Benzema and Di Maria, especially, has been fabulous & was the lead up to Benzema's goal. The Sanchez goal was against the run of play imo. Would've ruined the game if Messi got sent off, considering the first yellow was for back-chat.

Hahaha, well it's how Sturridge got his credit. No-one care, much, for him (mainly because of Josh McEachran's rise) while he was in reserves, but now look. Lukaku will follow the same pattern, as long as he keeps his calm in the wait.

Exactly. Both Drogba & Sturridge have managed to get Mata's excellent delivery and be able to score. So it's not like service is as weak as we make out. Torres has failed to also capitalise on this, failed to use his strength to get past defenders. (for those who don't believe he has strength, reference his goal in the Euro 2008 final).

Nah. I prefer mine Sturridge's pace would be ideal to play him out wide. Drogba to lead the line for now, till we seek out a better long-term replacement (or use Lukaku). Mata, in the hole, behind that line to be a real no10.
