  1. There's no need for this thread, just post it in the AVB Out? thread and stop trying to boost your ego.
  2. Come on Badboy, they were near as bad last season too. They are the problem.
  3. If they won't play for Villas-Boas, why the f'ck would they play for Di Matteo? They won't play for anyone but themselves and we're going to go through at least 5 more managers before this stupid dumbf'ck board realises the problem is with players not the management. F'ck FFP, buy a new squad and build our way back up.
  4. Oh shut up. You're not the only one who was thinking it, get your head out your f'cking ass.
  5. Yeah, but in fairness he's learning to play that wing role still. He's used to being a CF, which is a selfish role within itself. He's improved in his decision making a lot since August, still improving.
  6. Meh. He's more likely to score doing that than we are doing anything else.
  7. Ugh. Every time he criticises the media, they go out and prove justification for that criticism, it's turning into a vicious cycle. They've done it with almost all our players and management.. Ridiculous.
  8. Exactly. A harmless prank becomes another story. Is there really no humour in football any more?
  9. Yeaaah but can't really blame fans for that. Like you said, he's been dogshit this season and we're all very desperate to see the world-class Torres come back to life. It's therefore normal to get excited when we do see an assist or 2, because it just fills us with a tiny bit of confidence in him. It's a rational thing to do.
  10. Or perhaps his hands have been somewhere else
  11. I was positive when André said the club's looking for both a left & right winger. Seems if André is staying, Hulk's very likely.
  12. Definitely. It was incredibly frustrating to see him anywhere but LB, especially because Malouda was more of a CM than Zhirkov. We paid a lot for Yuri and he could've actually been a decent winger for us, didn't see him as an exceptional player, but definitely would've been a better option to Malouda. He was a pure winger, and the lack of one now is costing us quite a bit.
  13. He tried to replace world-class Xabi Alonso with Gareth Barry. Says it all really..
  14. I thought Hulk is quite quick?
  15. Yeah I just saw. End of an era, indeed, but hopefully the mark of a brighter era too. I do like how Chelsea considered both 60k and 55k expansion though.
  16. Lmao! Fair enough.. But I would like to see him stay in the PL whatever happens.
  17. Fair enough CFC. They have basically said, we can't expand.. Hopefully CPO's convinced by Chelsea's attempt to be transparent.
  18. If Barcelona fail with Thiago Silva, which is a hit or miss, they will come hard for Luiz. We cannot afford to lose him. It's funny, Barcelona will target him as a centre back and here some are still suggesting he should move to DM or RB etc.
  19. The problem is Kakuta plays in a position where there's so much competition and in a team like Fulham, full of midfield players, it was hard for him to break through. Kakuta had it rough at Bolton too, but that doesn't mean we should not consider them when we're thinking of loan locations. Kakuta's always been an issue when it's come to loans, thankfully he's found his place in the Dijon set up. My point, though, is Fulham's a club that do need a striker. Since Zamora's left they have a void to fill, Johnson's got his injury problems, Ruiz is yet to find his form and their top scorer (I think) is their midfield player Dempsey. It's a club like this where Lukaku, especially with his talent, could potentially play week in-week out.
  20. Don't forget, he doubles up as a decent winger too
  21. I love how they're just playing into his words. Apparently he really went in on the media when the camera's turned off. Newspapers should be fun to read tomorrow
  22. Aside from the price, I really like Hulk. Strong, fast and he can dribble past the full backs. Thunderous shot is always helpful and would be a wonder in set pieces, whether he's taking them or he's in the box to head them. Plus he's young and he'll be gunning for a place in the Brazil line-up. He'll respond to André very well too. It will be a good signing as a player, the price will of course be an issue but hopefully Villas-Boas' relationship will come in use.
  23. Well with Zamora gone and Andrew Johnson's future in doubt, Lukaku to Fulham makes sense. Only if he'll be their primary striker though. He'd also relish with Dembele & Dempsey's service.
