  1. I don't like him talking up Wenger & Arsenal. That comparison was made for when Henry left Juve.. This is worrying.
  2. Don't even care what the line up is today. Just want the effort, the desire, the heart for 90+minutes. I want the players to feel our excitement, tension, hope & pride. I don't want them sulking, getting angry at each other, shaking their heads. I want a fight. I want emotion, passion & for them to give Napoli a hell of a match. As the term goes. Never surrender. Go honour that Chelsea, you bloody well owe it to us, andré and yourselves! -- P.s.
  3. "Chelsea press officer says quotes attributed to Robbie Di Matteo regarding Torres having a psychological problem are incorrect." https://twitter.com/#!/mattlewis27/status/179652286228873217
  4. "If he needs me, I am always here but it is obvious the change must come from him." Indeed. Torres must have self-actualisation.
  5. Aren't Dolce & Gabbana one of our main sponsors? We should get their sponsorship on the seats, top quality material would be guaranteed and would look very good.
  6. Thank f'ck for that. Our dugout chairs annoy me, for some odd reason
  7. Can't blame him for wanting to go United.
  8. Financial means. We rely a lot on CL football to make up our revenue, because we're pretty useless at gathering that from anything else, truly. We would lose the attraction of stars like Hazard, unless we get a hell of a convincing manager to come (for example; Mourinho would attract big names no matter what position the club would be in). I don't think it's the worse thing in the world, we'll be back there next year. I don't believe Tottenham will replicate their form of this season either, especially if Redknapp goes.
  9. At least we'll have the Euro's to distract us
  10. Because even if that happens our club will look for the next 'big name' to take over. Just the way things go, might as well accept it now and be surprised if a change in policy does occur. Which I doubt.
  11. Chelsea will be fired up for this, they simply have to be. Di Matteo's gonna give a hell of talk to motivate them, Terry & Drogba will be relentless in keeping the spirit high. We simply have to hope they show determination and a real desire to win. I know I speak too idealistically for this squad, but they have to give it a real go for 90minutes. Even if we concede first.
  12. LMAO!! If they lost him, they'd sh't themselves so much!!
  13. Great paragraph. You're right about not need to buy everyone for those departing. Why not give Todd Kane a chance? Chalobah should be on the bench ready to come on in case we're hit with injuries anywhere in CB or DM because he's played both positions. Why look for a new central striker when £20million Lukaku doesn't even get the bench all the time. We've got players in reserves who deserve a break and a shot in the first team, which would save us a ton of money if they make a good impact. Good article BL.
  14. From a quick skimread it looks like a great article! I will read it in more detail later, promise
  15. I'd agree with this. If Lampard doesn't look like he can last I'd probably suggest Malouda comes on for him, stays in midfield and alternates with Mata in their position sense.
  16. We can do it. Maximum effort must be attained. Come on you Blues!
  17. Having this problem ^ But this is good news. Napoli fans, on here, were very good, kind and friendly 3 weeks ago. Nice on TC!
  18. Comparing Henderson to Mikel? LOL. For me Lucas is the best DM in the league, or was.
  19. Whoever gets signed Lukaku must be given the chance first. He's what we need in a striker to spearhead our attack. His age is irrelevent next season, since we'll be (or supposed to be) rebuilding. Let him step up, what's the worst that could happen? He won't find the net, but he'll give 110% effort, which we won't discredit him for. Of course we should sign a backup. But the push must be for Lukaku.
  20. Of course they would. When have they ever cared about what the fans want?
  21. Joker10 is right though, he's by far not the worst manager in the world. He wouldn't cross my mind at all in potential candidates but we could do a lot worse than Rafa. We only don't like him because of our many clashes with Liverpool when he was in charge. You can't really count inter. Post-Mourinho clubs seem to flop regardless of who takes charge, look at them now. How many managers they're going through, even Ranieri's not going to last.
