That's not our style of play though! We're not a squad that needs the Essien-types that make those surging runs from deep midfield. We have players like Hazard, Mata, Oscar etc to provide attacking flare. We need a proper centre midfield. The only reason Fellani's stock has risen recently is because Moyes deployed him as a faux-no.10. We don't need that, we have actual no10s. We need a player to actually sit in midfield and dictate the pace, a Pirlo-type player. I don't question the class of Fellani, he's a good player. But why Chelsea are chasing him, is beyond me. He won't offer any kind of stability in midfield.

Hope they don't rush him in but give him enough exposure. Hopefully he can make as good of an impact as Chalobah.

Team of the year was an absolute farce. Can't argue with Messi, Falco & Ronaldo. Xavi & Iniesta is okay. XABI OVER PIRLO? WHAT? PIQUE?! He's barely featured this year. Alves has been awful. Marcelo has been pretty fantastic, can't fault him. FIFA's bias is evident. Oh and Guardiola's nomination?! No trophies, ended his tenure in MAY. Really?!

Come on guys, we know Kalas & Bruma aren't coming. I also agree with Wilson, because with Terry's track record of injuries lately we are down to the 3 main centre backs. Actually 2.5. Ivanovic will backup as RB if Azpilicueta gets injured, Luiz seems to be moved into DM for the immediate future. That leaves Cahill & injured Terry. I saw Mbwia suggested, and that's a great shout. I would go as far as saying we go for Laurent Koscielny.
