  1. Yeah fair point actually, he's been here through all the coaches, not sure if he was pre-Mourinho or not though. And you're probably right about that, they'll probably link all of Rafa's ex-backroom staff and find any conflicts lol Man I hope Sunday will show us some kind of faith in Rafa's abilities, I first wonder about his line of formation.. This is the man who was notorious for 4-4-2. Return of the diamond perhaps..?
  2. I don't know, but it seems a bit trivial of an issue. Didn't something very similar happen last year though? I think Villas-Boas tried to change the goal-keeping coach as well and was denied by the club. Or maybe it was Rafa at Liverpool.. There was something LOL
  3. Not really Cech's call that though.. Manager should be entitled to bring in his own coaching staff.
  4. Oh Chelsea, Chelsea.. Do you think we even have a PR department?
  5. Right.. So when are we appointing Zenden as our next interim manager?
  6. But we can't turn to Drogba every time the chips are down. It's bad enough that for years, upon years, we were haunted by Mourinho's spirit. We finally decided to change the set up of the team to play ball-to-feet and not hoof it up to the striker and make him do the rest. Of course, that hasn't gone so well, but the point is Drogba shouldn't & can't be plan B anymore., The club & squad must find a way through this without turning to him.
  7. It's bad enough taking 1 step forward and 2 back after today. If Drogba comes back it's 1 step forward, 7 years backwards.
  8. All we can do now is back him. Good luck Rafa.
  9. How ironic would it be if the fan's villain manages to become long-term (LOL as if that's going to happen though..)
  10. No choice but to back him now. Good luck Rafa..
  11. Mancini will relish Sunday. an easy 3 points for the taking. Furthermore, this is all John Terry's fault.
  12. I don't even know why I bother expressing any emotions to this. We all know RdM was only hired cos the club felt obliged and not because they wanted to.
  13. beyond caring. we're the laughing stock of world football, di matteo will leave with dignity, class and an impressive CV. we're, as usual, made to look unambitious and full of knee jerk wankers.
  14. It's amazing.. We make joke threads like these whenever a manager's appointed but a couple of months later, they're actually realistic. Not having a go at OP, but it's just incredible that this is the identity of Chelsea.
  15. Di Matteo must take responsibility, he took a risk he thought would work. It didn't, but he doesn't deserve to be sacked.. Only time will tell if that happens.
  16. True, true. Well a good manager takes necassary risks and I suppose he has in a. Dropping Torres & b. Using Hazard as false9 where he could have picked Moses. If it pays off, it's a testament to Di Matteo's intelligence, if not, well it shows he's willing to take calculated risks.
  17. Yeah I thought Moses would've been a better bet for there? But I guess it does have defensive merit... I guess.
  18. I hope so, cos Azpilicueta on the wing seems quite weird..
  19. Where's Azpilicueta actually playing? Odd choice if he's on the right-wing
  20. Experience you say? Beckham's announced he's leaving LA Galaxy
  21. A lot on the Twitter rumour mill via Telegraph & Mail that we're offering Sturridge to Liverpool for £15million. For the kid's career, he should go. Sadly.
