Agreed. I'm sure they were all cheering and singing Kalous praises when he scored a hat trick against stoke end of last season for instance. Seems like an easy target for people like that, he has his good games and his bad games, but when he has a bad game, its completely ignored who else had a bad game, and all the blame is put on Kalou in here, and he should be sold, he's shit etc. He's a great player, and i'll keep defending him because i honestly believe he's worth defending, because he's a talented young player.

Fair enough i'm sure he plays well in the Iranian League, but i'm sure you'll agree the Premier League is miles off in terms of quality etc. Hit and a miss fella, you might like him, but Chelsea aint gonna sign a 28 year old brazillian random, and play him instead of sturridge....

In fairness, and agreeing with the above, Bruma, Sturridge and Kakuta, are currently not match fit, and therefore couldnt be picked. I know we won the game 6-0, but the first game of the season Carlo wont be choosing the youngsters, because he still needs to be playing his regulars, and regular subs, i.e. Kalou and Benayoun. The only youngster on the bench for the game, if we exclude sturridge, was Van Aanholt, and there was no sense in bringing him on because Ashley Cole was having such a good game at Left Back, and there was no need to disrupt this. I dont feel the need to panic; the youngsters will get there chance and We can hope to see more regular sub appearances for them, as well as hopefully an 'Arsenal' approach when concerning the League cup, and the team fielded. I think Sturridge will have plenty of opportunity to prove himself this season, but i hope, unlike most in this forum, he'll be giving his chance alongside Kalou, rather than instead of. About time we stopped hoping for an over-priced Brazillian, and noticed Kalou for his ability, rather than doubting him and making comments like, he's not even good enough to be on tottenham's bench, which i saw earlier ffs.

Gutted for him, honestly believed he was ready to be our 3rd right back choice, waiting for Ferreira to leave to get his chance. Sad to see injury wrecking his career, but good to see Chelsea supporting him, and that he'll at least stay in sport for his new career

I understand what you mean, a player that is going to playing in English football on a more regular basis (hopefully) in a few years, should be learning the english game, not buggering off somewhere random like Bologna. I'm sure theres plenty of championship clubs, or even lower Premier League teams that could offer the same amount of playing time for Nemanja that Bologna are offering. I hope it doesnt happen

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is edging closer to the Stamford Bridge exit door. According to the Italian Tutto Mercato Web site, the 22-year-old is heading on loan to Bologna, who have beaten fellow Serie A sides Genoa and Udinese to his signature. The deal is expected to be tied up late next week, said the Web site. Matic is a 6.4ft central midfielder who has been dubbed "the Serbian Patrick Vieira" in his home country.

Chelsea seemed to have got confused, and put our best away kit from the last ten years (white with the blue and black stripe down the middle) and combined it with our worst kit (Flourescent Green/Yellow ugly extreme kit) and made it a third kit. Bad choice, it doesnt looks nice at all tbh

25 is Zola's number, and Chelsea have reserved it for him. Kakuta can be a great like Zola, but he doesnt take his number, ever. Gianfranco was a legend, 25 was his number. But now, i'm making it even less about Bruma haha I'm glad he played tonight, it'll do his confidence wonders, and probably also the fact Carvalho's left, giving him more chance of breaking into the first team at some point

He might not have done much but he scored some cracking goals when he did score. His first two, against Portsmouth (i think), absolute screamer haha, and the wigan free kick. Others that stand out, the overhead against Bolton and a good goal against Sunderland early last season. Glimpses of the player we expected, it just didnt really worked out.

Dont have one haha. I guess i kinda look out for Ipswich, just to see what there doing, but i dont particularly consider them as my second team because i dont like 'em ha. I just live very close to Ipswich haha
