Pulisic does a headless chicken quite as well as Kai. Point with Puli is that, if he is on the pitch for 90 mins, he might have a decent moment of going past someone and creating an opportunity. What's the upside of keeping Kai on the pitch? Can't dribble, has no pace to beat his man. Takes more time to turn than a Boeing 747. Sloppy first touches. He is a train wreck at the moment.

I don't get why Barkley and rlc are so important to the conversation. We play a double pivot and Barkley and rlc were 5th and 6th choice for those positions. More than apt for those positions. Also, origi went to milan, as did bakayoko, and we all know how poor he was in Prem. Lastly, United were never in the conversation. They have the most delusional fan base and there might have been some noise here and there, but no one really expected anything from them. As for us, i do agree that having big hitters does not make you a guaranteed elite club, but that's the difference between having a klopp or pep compared to having a TT. It was his job to make it work and he has hopelessly underachieved.

Kepa (another howler from Mendy against soton should mean that kepa gets his chance) Fofana Silva cucu (KK has looked terrible, he should be eased in) RJ kova Gallagher chilwell (If jorgi starts, i anyways won't watch our game and that piece of shit) Puli broja sterling. Lesser said about Kai, mount so far this season, better.
-
Did you give your recommendation to klopp too? 😂 Cause i remember reading links of this guy to Liverpool.
-
Kalou was quite poor. We just had a good year in attack under Carlo. Other than that, kalou was so limited. Anelka was fair
-
Mate, in the first para, you basically defined the perfect and the most ideal midfielder. 😂 There are a handful of such ones left. Anyone other than rice, fdj, fabinho and maybe a couple more will have some issue or the rest.

Morata - flop, Torres - flop, higuain - flop, Sheva - flop etc etc. Only 2 strikers have come anywhere near to be called as "success" in 2 decades!!! - DD and Costa We as a club have a defensive DNA since RA took over for some weird reason. To have our strikers and forwards be successful we need to change that.
-
If we shift to a 4-3-3, Gallagher should and would play.
-
If we finish outside top4/6 while United finish with a European spot, rice might anyway choose not to come here and waste his time.
-
That's all we need right now.
-
Would not trust most of these sources. We were going to apparently offer 100m for fofana, yet ended up buying for significantly less. Would not be surprised if we honestly want to get ziyech off the books, and have proposed a swap or something.
-
We have to switch to a 4-3-3. It suits kova, kante, Gallagher, mount far more than a double pivot. Each of them is an 8 with different qualities. We need a proper 6 to accentuate those players.

"Good squad". Problem is that we have made narratives to suit our arguments and have gone ahead with it, to the point of rewriting history. Go back exactly a year, and our squad was being compared to Liverpool and city. We were supposed to be challenging for the title. Just because we have severely underachieved, it does not change how good the squad was considered. And you talk about the players during Lampard's 4 months (Kai, Werner, ziyech specifically), but it was all down to poor management and chemistry. Each of them were balling for their clubs. Werner had scored 30+ goals, Kai had scored 20+, ziyech had balled in cl. Also, each squad has their share of Barkleys and rlc etc. You think Liverpool dont with origi, ox, tmikas, Adrian. Even city with ake, zincgenko. Our squad last year was supposed to do massive things. Don't let the players' and manager's under performance fool you otherwise.

Which is fair. But imo, his +ves at spurs far outweighed the -ves. He made them relevant (🤮). I remember post bale when they had bought the soldados of the world, they looked to be getting worse, then poch came in and changed them. I would even say that his tactics are 'naive' sometimes, but like I said, don't think he is perfect. Don't expect him to be perfect. But the situation we are in, under new regime, need to set up a culture, have a trove of young talent + buying a trove of young talent, he is a decent shout out.

I have wanted TT out and made my point about it long back (and was rudely ridiculed by some to the point of being called a "whiny bitch"). Problem with so many of us NOW wanting TT out is that it seems like a knee jerk to a couple of losses. If we want to sack TT, it should be because of the fact that he shows no improvement of the squad, attack, tactics. The squad we had last season (including Lukaku), was a great one. A couple of additions to that squad in the mid and better back up wing backs, and we should have been good to go. Instead TT has made us a massive cluster fuck.
-
Poch was always going to fail at PSG. I don't think he is the manager to manage massive egos. But let's be very fair, poch did not fail at spurs. He brought them from the "mid of top table" obscurity to almost winning the PL and CL. Spurs did a spurs and choked it, you can blame it on poch, that's fair, but given the resources he had, the brand of football he played and how far he bought spurs, that should be counted as a success. Poch is not perfect, but he is a much better option than TT

I can attest from personal experience that it's not something you do consciously. You want to put in your max effort, you want to be your best version despite everything in and around you. But when you lack that faith and confidence in the manager, and in what you are doing as a group and team, you are a split second slower to make a pass, or to tackle or whatever. And that makes a hell of a difference. I did not play anywhere near to PL level of football, but if the players have lost trust in TT and what he is doing and we continue to stick by him, then expect this to be a loooonnnng season. Every match is going to be a drag. Even our wins against Everton and Leicester were drags. I would honestly write off 2022, while hoping TT can change things around, but start with the manager shortlist by the end of the year. It's more essential than any transfer we can realistically make.
-
Why? Our manager already said that we don't need midfielders 😂😂😂
-
You need to sprint while having some decent amount of speed to actually put strains on your muscles for an injury. Also, you need to put in a tackle and get some contact to get an injury. Jorgi plays the role of a traffic cone to perfection. Look at the soton 2nd goal, he was literally by passed as if he did not exist. No tackle, no contact. One of the worst players i have seen.
-
Are we still going to pretend that TT is not to be questioned/blamed? Sorry, but i just hope our board is making a list of suitors to replace him by the start of 2023.
-
Jorginho has got to be one of the worst players to don the Chelsea blue. Fucking piece of shit. Cant believe he is a mainstay. The number of times the opposing mid just blows past him is unbelievable. Fucking hell man
-
Ziyech, Kai and MOUNT. Wow. Pulisic and broja SHOULD demand to leave.
-
It's literally the same tweet that i read a month ago 😂 Alonso is always some "hours" away from joining Barca
-
But he is going to get a similar contract irrespective of his status of being a Chelsea player or not, right? I mean it's a moot point for Celtic what contract they offer Barkley irrespective of him being a Chelsea player or a free agent. Hence i don't understand the move. Our options were to buy off his contract or pay part of his wages while Celtic pays the rest. I guess it might have been a better position financially for the club to buy his contract our rather than pay part of his wages. Don't know, just feels unintuitive.
-
But then sell him for free. Surely when cancelling his contract, we would have had to pay him some severence. Why not just let him go for free. I mean, don't mind him leaving one bit, just don't understand the whole business side of this
