What exactly did TT do so far to even give a slight indication that he would start broja? The man is a jackass.
-
Told you broja won't start. And star this, he will leave on loan or permanently if we don't sack this idiot
-
Nah. When we play 3 ATB, he normally has cover. Moreover, one of the 3 usually make an extra body in the mid specially when off the ball saving him a bit from counters. In a back 4, with the modern FB no different from a WB, he is way too exposed. Atleast thats how I see it. Anyways, 3 or 4, he is a passenger to have.
-
We have played 5 professional games and he has played a grand total of 40mins. 40!!!! Let me reiterate it, 4 fucking 0 minutes with Kai stinking it up at the top of the pitch. You think he is actually going to get minutes with TT's savior auba in the mix? People need to get realistic with where we are with TT.
-
Broja will be lucky to get any minutes from now to the end of the season or till TT is fired. It will be auba and Kai upfront with broja leaving/loaned in the jan window
-
We played a back4 with jorginho in the mid.
-
Too soon. I think he will get till the world cup. The suffering will continue till then
-
And a half decent manager
-
All of the comparision with klopp's initial years at Liverpool with TT's 1.5 years here would be valid if they both inherited a similar squad and talent level. Also, if they both had the same investments in their initial years. Klopp did not inherit a squad that was a shoe in for top4. That was a shit squad full of morenos and borinis of the world.
-
Sterling/Puli broja/auba Kai/ziyech Mount/kova zakaria/jorgi kante/Gallagher Chilwell/cucu Silva/kk fofana/trevoh RJ/azpi Mendy/kepa I feel a 4-3-3 suits this squad far more than a back3.
-
Minutes? Plural? He should be so lucky
-
Not the type of player we need. Good player not the one for us at the moment. I am surprised our panic buy is not Douglas Luiz. Solid pL player. Could have done with him.
-
Permanent or loan?
-
I felt it at that time and now I am sure of it. Jorgi simply rode kante's coat tails. Kante was the one who was literal super human in those semis and the final. Jorgi was decent like most of the team, but we have made jorgi as one of the players who was pivotal. You could have put any half decent CM next to kante in those games and got the same result.
-
Can jorginho handle being pressed? I thought the best way to completely nullify us was to man mark jorginho and pressurise him leading to mistakes and stupid chips in the box.
-
Auba, depay, Zakaria. That's what we have come down to. We have literally become a freaking joke with a clown managing us. He has got to go.
-
Duh. You can see why he got into conflict with the boards at PSG and BVB. They probably thought he was on cocaine or worse with his insane, idiotic and downright stupid targets. Can't wait to be rid off him
-
Damn. Would never have guessed they spent this much in the last 2 years. But i feel the core of the argument does not change. Is TT developing from the youth, hell no. Can TT boast a couple of players who have got significantly better under him like saka, martinelli, Smith Rowe? Hell no. Has TT's tactics consistently got us some good football? Hell no. Leave all of it aside, does TT have a decent enough grip on the problems with the squad? I would have to answer No. We were hardly even rumored with any midfielder, which in itself should be alarm bells. How can a manager of this club think that the current crop of CMs were fine to run it back with, but supposedly wants 5 out 7 of our attackers binned. This is NOT panic stations. It's an honest assessment of his time here. The CL win has glossed over a lot, but i feel all the credit he built up with it, has been used one insane decision and mistake after another.
-
Innocent until proven guilty 😂😂
-
So happy. Solution to all our problems and woes will be here by tomorrow. 😂😂 Poor fucker, can't even play till WC, if i am not wrong.
-
One point here, who actually looks happy playing for us at the moment? 😂 And i sincerely ask that question. We look like such a train wreck. The players look gutted. So many want to leave, despite many already leaving. It's such a shame how far we have fallen.
-
It depends on what the club are trying to do? We have spent 250m+, infact 300m this window, right? How many windows and seasons do you need to add up to get that total for arsenal? Arsenal were willing to take a step back, and let arteta do his thing by developing the youth, namely saka, martinelli, Smith Rowe. tT has no direction. He can't possibly develop youth when he either keeps loaning them out or outright selling them. He infact would rather have a 33 year old auba than develop broja. How can you possibly compare the 2? Different situations, different problem statements. TT had a bunch of talented players who had done it all, he needed to find a system to get the best out of them. Now he wants to revamp and build a team around auba for god's sake. If you want to give time to a manager, you would give to some one who is willing to start from the scratch, rather than bring additional baggage in the name of "revamping". As for arteta, he is doing a good job. He is actually developing talent rather than buying the aubas of the world. Again, depends what you want. I would gladly take a step or 2 back, if it meant revamping the whole thing. But let's not fool ourselves with it when our manager wants to spent 300m on players and then give him the leeway of "needs time". Let me be honest, you think giving TT a pass on this season improves us? We will be in transition for the next year too when we have 30+ kante and jorgi leaving or singing an extension. This was the year to revamp our mid and start anew, TT screwed it up. Infact he refuses to even acknowledge our most problematic area as even a problem. TT has given us exactly what he could. A CL. Expecting him to set up a dynasty or make a club his own is wishful thinking. He is not that type of a manager. Look at his record. If you are looking for that, maybe arteta is someone more along those lines, or maybe poch. I honestly think we need a change. Sticking with TT will just be dragging out a failed marriage to its inevitable ugly end. We might end up losing even more talented players who HE has failed to get the best out of.
-
Honestly don't watch the Dutch league. So no clue.
-
With the right DM, i feel it will really get the best out of mount, kante, kova and gallagher. These are 4 great 8 options. I like laimer too, but not what we need right now.
-
I don't disagree with poch being a fuck up or his teams bottling it when it matters. But i would be looking at poch to set up a culture of attacking football, use the 100s millions of talents at his disposal rather than casting them out to dry. I am not looking at silverware when I say this. We could easily have won the league Cup and fa cup last year, but that still would not have changed the fact that we are even further off from a PL title and being an elite club. Remove the CL and our time under TT is nothing short of abysmal. That's why i can't or do not decide the manager's performance based on a single knock out game. As of this moment, we need someone to set a good culture. I feel poch is a good shout out for it. And i feel in a month's time, he might feel like a very viable option cause i cant see us getting better under Tt.
