  1. 3 mill for a 17 yr kid and what happened to Sebak and Rhys?
  2. Thanks for the good things.. FO for the bad.. All the best for your future, don't mess with ours...
  3. Won't be as easy as people are making out to be, Should still get an edgy 2-0..
  4. So Palermo suffer too.. the whole things a big mess
  5. Hey do any of you guys know where I could buy just this issue online?
  6. Yes but what percentage of footballers do make a profession as a pundits or commentators.. It's very small.. There's no way Mutu is gonna pay the amount, so the two options available look like, he pays nothing and stops playing football.. or donate a big amount to charity in 3 countries and carry on.. The first helps us with nothing.. The second although only a tad better, is good enough for me.. We sacked the guy, rightfully, but then the compensation figure is just too irrational for a player.. What the Court could have done is asked Juve to pay a certain part of it.. It's as much their fault as Mutu's..
  7. Nice work Jim The 'has played for' thing looks out of place in yuri's profile page because of the shorter text as compared to Drogba's.. I guess it'll look better with time when we'll have more to add up..
  8. Given our captures from Eastern Europe, that guy seems to doing wonderfully well
  9. Excellent Post Esk.. yeah but had Arnesen not being doing his job, we'd not have players of this high talent to develop, at all...
  10. Well I'm pretty confident that the club are confident of knocking the ban down to one window.. and assuming this i'm sure they will try and ensure that we just miss out on the January transfer window.. By the looks of it, we could even get off without any transfer window ban, but i'm sure Blatter shall ensure against it.. Will one of the mods merge this into the other ban threads..
  11. Of course what Chelsea have, and what Fifa can never take away, is an in-built resilience from the days of Jose Mourinho And a punishment of this sort is only likely to stiffen a siege mentality as they go in search of their first Champions League, the Holy Grail, and also try to reclaim the Premier League title that has resided at Old Trafford for the past three seasons. If Chelsea, as Fifa has ruled, induced Kakuta to leave the club that nurtured him, then it must be regarded as a laudible, landmark move to punish them. Chelsea will now plead their case vehemently, but as a general principle any move to protect clubs from having young talent they have invested time, money and resources in spirited away without at least fitting financial compensation is to be applauded. It may also mean in future that smaller clubs will feel on a firmer footing when standing up to the richer rivals ready to prey on their production line of talent. Sympathy for Chelsea (of course the very words are likely to induce roars of laughter from around the community of Premier League supporters) may come with the hope that Fifa's net will claim more than just them. If Fifa actually believes Chelsea are the only club guilty of this particular offence in world football, then naivety is being stretched to its furthest point. Are we to seriously believe that? I do not. This is a can of worms that has yet to be fully opened. An extract from Phil McNulty's Blog for BBC link
  12. And thats how things should be done.. Poor guy he'll even get stick at the reserve and youth games now..
  13. Hat-trick at Stoke though possible would be pushing it.. It'd be so wonderful if he got the 100th against SPurs or Pool...
  14. I just want us to win champions league once and get done with it.. The Premier league over it every other time..
  15. yeah but were those 5 games worth his annual wages.. scored 2 btw against the defending champs wolfsburg on his debut at the weekend
  16. Have you forgiven JT yet? Me too... but hey better than no football weekends.. Stoke away was the best game for our fans.. Hope it's special this time too..
  17. People, vent your anger at the FA, it's they who come with these regulations for stadiums and which involuntarily the club has to abide by to avoid sanctions and penalties...
  18. Once they put on the blue shirt they become saintly for me..
  19. It's gonna be a thumping.. 4-0.. I love the way Carlo is rotating.. Don't see any of the players being unhappy about it.. At least not in the midfield.. but now that Zhirkov is back and joey not that far off, will be interesting to see how he goes about it.. Come October, we'll have a clearer image of the team and tactics..
  20. I honeslty could find Ancelotti using the word 'left' anywhere in that article..
  21. Ballack should start instead of Mikel for this one with Essien taking on the DM's role..
  22. Give it time... Lampard isn't as involved in the buildups as he used to be the last few seasons when basically every Chelsea move involved him in some form or the other.. That doesn't mean this formation doesn't get the best out of him.. Offensivley he loses nothing at the tip of the diamond formation.. Defensively he'll probably have less of a cleaning up to do.. So he can concentrate a lot more on scoring and getting those assists..
