You're right to feel cynical, but he'll have the same chance as everyone else come pre-season to see whether he's up to the grade.

Why is it the club's fault? If Ake has decided (as a grown up human being) that he personally needed to leave to further his own career then what can the club do? Force him to stay and have an unhappy player who might be 4/5th choice CB with virtually no chance of gametime in a WC year? Be realistic now.

I'm not suggesting that we have financial problems - quite the opposite. But if the negotiations are stalling because of the fee, which we believe is to be £60m and of which Juve have made it quite clear that they aren't going to budge on, then why is it not simply a case of paying the money required to get a target Conte has identified...? How would you feel if we didn't get him and City come in, pay the £60m and he's their player for the next 6-7 years, knowing that if we had done the same, he'd be ours?

So how do people feel about the club/board if Conte genuinely wants Sandro and doesn't get him because we won't pay the money that Juve are asking? Would it be the first indication that the club aren't willing to back Conte?

If City do end up nabbing him then I'll be equally gutted and livid at the same time.

I think it's time we all calmed ourselves down in relation to this potential move. While we'd all like it to happen, I'd say the eventuality that Juve shut up shop and the move doesn't happen is more likely.

That Fox Sports story is only rehashing what Corriere della Sera said, so let's not get carried away.

Either way, no blame can be placed on Chelsea in the event that Sandro decides to stay.

That Italian article is just saying that Juve would be wise to keep him as he's one of the best players in the world in that position.

Just chill people-the wages aspect will just be a formality.

I do hope that if this deal doesn't happen, it will have nothing to do with Chelsea. The ball is in Sandro's court now as to whether he wants to join us or not.

Given how Jose has reacted to having Shaw at Utd, I'd say we done alright by not getting him. And that Sandro is a million times better than him. Was also before the new TV/money deal kicked in.

Why would anyone raise an eyebrow? Because it's not a midfielder/striker? I imagine we'll break our record again regarding the Lukaku deal.
