  1. A fact that we should also consider is experience. We have so many players with little to no PL experience in our squad that need more experienced players to guide them. Thiago will go into his last season, a lot of the more experienced players will leave the club in the summer. Not a lot of players will be over 23. And Rice, even tho hes still quite young, has a lot of PL experience - over 200 PL games, 41 games for England, compared to the 27 of Lavia and 31 of Caicedo. I think we should search for more experience in certain areas (especially midfield), a succesfull team is a team with a good mixture. Rice has more PL games than Lavia, Caicedo, Colwill, Chalobah, Mudryk, Madueke, Felix, Badiashile, Enzo, Chukwuemeka and D. Fofana have COMBINED😂 Damn yes:
  2. I dont care about a passing DM. Thats literally Enzos job. We need someone that relieves pressure from the back 4. Someone that blocks attacks, intercepts balls before the opponent can run torwards them. Someone that just adds security for the attacking players to do their thing. How many years have we conceded goals now bc our midfield has been overrun time after time. We dont need another Jorginho, Kovacic, Enzo type of midfielder, we need a defensive minded DM that stays in position and breaks and absorbs the opponents attacks. And Rice is that. He is leading the PL statistic for interceptions by quite some margin. The first Chelsea player on that list is in P66 (Thiago), so our squad is massively lacking that skill and quality that Rice could add. Its also a myth that Rice only does backward and sideward passes. He is outperforming Caicedo in terms on forward passes and created chances btw. I would be fine with Caicedo also but name me a DM that offers the needed defensive stability and adds more passing creativity that is actually a realistic transfer target.
  3. Rice would make a good completion to Enzo in midfield. His strengths are Enzos weaknesses and vice versa. Would be a very balanced midfield pairing.
  4. Yeah thats why he roasted the entire team in public in preseason. An absolute no-go for a coach. That guy completely lost it before the season even started.
  5. Exactly, he could be our Jens Jeremies. Or, for the younger ones here, our Javi Martinez.
  6. Idk man, scored 7 goals in 30 games in Serie A. Really nothing that gets me off my seat. By the way: quick comparison: League goals in the last 3 seasons - Osimhen: 47 Martinez: 58
  7. If even Martinez is seen as not good enough for 11th placed Chelsea, it will be nearly impossible to get a "good enough" striker this summer.
  8. Toney would be Chelseas best striker since Diego left.
  9. Now we can officially end this bullshit relegation talk 😂
  10. Maybe Boehly is Romans agent so that he can buy Chelsea back for a cheap price when the war is over 💀
  11. Imagine the meltdown if they announce Lampard as permanent manager 😂
  12. The funny thing is: we still have the 3rd best defence in the league 😂
  13. Maybe we can rehire Potter. He was awesome.
  14. And havent gotten better since, won 2 out of their 15 games since Lampard left, bc they have shit players. Same with us.
  15. I know Lampard is bad, but THAT bad? No. His first stint here wasnt all that bad compared to this shit. The players just dont care. They just are on the pitch bc they have to.
  16. Cmon, even without a manager they should perform WAY better. These are all adult millionaires, dont let them escape. Every single one of them needs to beg for forgivness.
  17. Good, these kids are so soft, TikTok generation, always triggered and offended, feelings hurt blabla but no actual performance. At least run till your unconscious u little bastards.
