FA Cup final 2024 - Chelsea-Spurs. 1:0 in the 94th minute, Poch celebrates in front of Spurs fans 💀
-
True, but to be honest he never really did it, even outside of Spurs. His spell at PSG was not really great

Either its true or this is Chelsea PR kicking in. We will never know 😅 Idc to be honest, my list was A Nagelsmann B Poch C Enrique Im kinda fine with Poch tbh. A good transition manager who will definitely improve our young players. But we wont win anything with him. But tbh I wouldnt expect any manager in the world to win anything big with us in the next 2 years anyway.
-
Bc of his aura of not winning big titles.
-
Poch is the safest option at this point. A bit boring, and nothing that gets u off the seat, but kinda safe. Would have prefered Nagelsmann but this would have been a risky move again.
-
Sounds like they have chosen to appoint Poch.

Teams from each country in the European semi finals: Italy: 5 England: 2 Spain: 2 Germany: 1 Netherlands: 1 Switzerland: 1 Pretty good year for Serie A And Mourinho in another European semi final
-
In Bayern terms he did, but as u can see with Tuchel now, maybe it wasnt really his fault after all.

For the few of you that understand German: here is a in-depth analysis from Nagelsmann about his tactics and philosophy. What I can tell u after watching it: its 16 minutes long and he never uses one of these phrases like "we want to play attacking football" or "we want to have possession" or all this usual superficial football talk. Its pure tactics. This guy is a fucking football and tactic nerd, knows everything about the game. And this is also his biggest weakness. He is way too intelligent and systematic for his players. Lets be honest, the majority of football players arent the sharpest knifes in the drawer. Most need clear, simple instructions without spinning their heads. And ig this is why he failed at Bayern, he basically confused his players by his complicated take on football. So on paper, he could really transform us into a tactical monster, IF he can get his message across. Tbh I dont know if it will work, but the potential is huge.

Lets not forget it was Roman who hired Lampard the first time 💀 The last few years of the Roman Empire were really not that great tbh. CL win did cover a lot of problems.
-
Not 10th tbh, but also not top4. I have a lot of football maniacs in my social bubble and when we did season prediction almost noone were having Chelsea in their Top4, more like P5-7. Yes, 11th is worse than expected, but it was pretty clear from the start that we wont make Top4. Next year I expect P4-5 tho tbh if the summer goes well (hiring a good coach and reducing the squad), no excuses anymore.

Chelsea fans are used to short terms success, bc basically Romans system was built on that - change for the sake of short term success. The new owerns are exactly the opposite, with a long term approach, not really caring about the short term. So ofc its hard for Chelsea fans to adapt to this new approach. In a way I think Boehly and co knew about this Chelsea fandom soul and tried to rush this transformation and have it done as soon as possible. And this was the mistake imh. They changed too many things too quickly, they should have taken more time to complete this huge transformation process. But I think they learnt from it bc not appointing a new manager immedietaly but taking their time and evaluating every aspect of it is actually a good thing. Its just funny that some of u wanted to have this decision rushed as well^^

A coach doesnt just hand in a Plan A wishlist. He also hands in a Plan B or C list. You really think that if plan A is not possible the owners of clubs just randomly sign an alternative not based on coaches suggestions? LOL Names like Koulibaly, Cucurella and Sterling definitely were on Tuchels list. Maybe not on list A, but def. on list B.

Following the departure of Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech, Thomas Tuchel has assumed a more prominent role in Chelsea's transfer dealings. The head coach reportedly was key in bringing Sterling and Koulibaly, pushing for both transfers. He has explained how things are organised at the club now. “Of course, the positions are clear and the profiles are clear. For our owners and for Todd especially, who is now doing it [being a joint-owner] for the first time in football, and for Chelsea as a competitive team in the transfer market, it is quite a lot to deal with. “It’s not my favourite thing to do and in the long run the focus has to be on coaching because it is why I am here. “But at the moment my help is needed and wanted and I must step up and take the responsibility.” Tuchel even complained about the increased responsibility in transfers.

Boehly wanted Ronaldo, Tuchel said no. We didnt sign Ronaldo.

"I gave him a list that would have made it possible to fight straight for the title, but it was a pretty unrealistic list. We don't play fantasy football, and in the end, we need to pay for it, convince the players, and convince clubs to give us their best players, and this is simply not happening. But I am super happy with what we've succeeded so far: Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney (Chukwuemeka) and Marc Cucurella are fantastic signings, and I'm more than happy they are with us." That's a quote from Tuchel. Sounds like the mentioned players were on that list. Follows the pattern also.

Considering Tuchels performance atm they might consider to reinstall Nagelsmann again 🤣
-
2 wins in 6 games since they sacked Nagelsmann. Only 3 goals in the last 5 games. They got worse in every aspect.
-
Which manager wouldnt lose the dressing room with these players we have? 🤣
-
Enrique ist just too stubborn and inflexible. He always plays his little 4-3-3 and if the players dont fit his system, he is clueless. He is a one trick pony.
-
Doubt that anyone will buy these frauds with this kind of wages they are on. Tuchel really fucked us with his stupid signings in the summer. Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella all shit.

Considering our season, the games against Real were pretty good tbh. We were pretty even on the field against, and lets not forget that, the reigning Champion and serial winner Real Madrid. The difference between these 2 can be seen on the xG stat below - efficiency. We have no goal threat, we dont convert our chances, whereas Real ofc is the best team of all time concerning this aspect.
