Nice. It was coming and apparently there was not much focus on set pieces

WTF is up with PL footballers being involved in betting? Aren't they earning enough? Helping some relatives this way? Blackmailed into this? Just addiction? What's the point of risking career for 1000$ return? Because to earn actual money one would have to bet high and betting million on someone getting carded in some shithole bookie in undeveloped country will raise alert in all investigating agencies possible

Hope it's some kind of translation error - what is "free purchase" anyway? Either free or purchase. Otherwise it would be rather ordinary loan with option.
-
Vlahovic to Roma, Lukaku to Juve, cash to us, everyone happy?
-
He wouldn't come - he won't do any better, than he did when he was here, so what's the point? To tarnish his legend? And he'd need to go full Rocky Balboa mode for few good months to catch up on physical performance needed for PL. As a mentor or PR staff yeah, but player? Sounds hardly realistic.
-
That whole Zyiech things drags like he was travelling there by cruise ship or smth. Which day of "completing the move" is it already? 4th? 5th?
-
Replace "Chelsea" with, with due respect, "Leeds" and it sounds about appropriate.
-
Wasn't it Pool who barraged into 36th month of our negotiations for those players, shat in the middle of the room and disappeared so, like, the exact opposite?
-
I'm not saying he is worth it… Very young player, big potential, from top academy, HG and English Tax. We are supposedly after very unimpressive players for 50+ million, so do You think, in current ridiculous market and Chelsea mugging tax included, any club (looking at Brighton now lol) would sell us player like Hall for 35 million, no questions asked, the same week he signed long-term contract?
-
His talent aside - what happened here? Did he/his agents forced a move or what? One don't sign long contract just to leave the club for half price week later. Actually, the opposite. If we wanted to buy him, it would be 70+ million easily. Loans with obligation are more common when club tries to push someone out due to salary, but buyer has no cash atm. Makes it even stranger.

The new Caicedo Saga® in the making - the eternal medical 😂

Throwback to Lampard's stint. "Muh physical drill" always ends the same here. I wonder if it's training staff/sports scientists incompetence or our players are just not ironman physical players and shouldn't be forced to transform into such.
-
Not thrilled about Olise, but who fooled him into signing a contract when he was practically out to big club? Agents and Palace surely benefit from this, but what's in it for him, no idea. Got the pinky promise from owners like Caicedo, lol?
-
Fun thing is it happens yet another time this window, when at first people are "meh, he is shit, we can do way better", but the more links come, the more he turns out to be absolutely great player, essential for our success, despite being like 4th choice target two weeks earlier at best 👀 No business with Ajax, no business with Brighton. Golden rule, no need to break it because our memory lasts only 14 days.
-
And people were moaning Kante was "useless" due to him not being available for most of games. James seems to be not much less worn out, being way younger.
-
Is that another baseless bs drama just to inflate the price for us? I see it rephrased 834 time, still zero details. I think problem with selling talented academy players lies elsewhere and it's more about losing some identity with them - we have launched all that heritage/cobham thing few years ago and still trying to ride it, at the same time our academy "heritage" comes down to James and maybe Colwill if he will perform, as Chalobah, Connor and Broja may be as good as gone. So what's the point of top academy then, if there is no way to first team even more, than before?
-
Imagine irony playing for Chelsea 1st but "growing as Newcastle fan". Well, if that's his dream move at 18 yo, so long.
-
What does it even mean? If he fails the medical, doesn't it mean he should probably cease playing football for his own good? If his health if not good enough for Saudi and Turkey, PL may be literal threat to him then.
-
Interesting thing is that given how young the new team is, it will be even harder for our own youth to make it into first team in coming years. Cucu's and Sterling's spots are next to open, but it may take while as they are hard to sell. Silva? Backline is already full anyway. Young, expensive players on long contracts may be hard to shift, so even basic upgrades in the squad may prove difficult. It's possible we will see very little transfer activity from us for a while (partly to replenish FFP maybe).

And ofc do not include any buyback, because stonks
-
Who said he is? Truth is, maybe club is sane enough to not scream "We urgently need no1 keeper ASAP and we are even more desperate than usual and ready to spend big" this time and just get the deal done when right opportunity comes
-
Yeah, absolute against any kind of abuse, but playing victim on every possible opportunity is just as disgraceful. It's just stats. Perhaps real. Him being "nice lad" and feeding stray puppies has nothing to do with it. Football is not just about collecting millions a year no matter what you do on the pitch.

This < Angry Rantman We win on every level

Interesting point. The last thing I remember was Mbappe acting as DOF and pointing Neymar essential for helping him to make the team competitive, but it was a while ago. He may have different views as a player 😂 But on a serious note he often was quite vocal about downgrading the team, doubt he is able to win even the farmer's league on his own.
