40m £ hahahahaahahahahahahah. Sure mate. If mine is numpty shite, yours is asenine bollocks. Can't defend if his life depended on it, and yet "we must not sell him" 😂😂 Sure buddy sure. Whatever floats your boat. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1322632/Chelsea-transfer-news-Kurt-Zouma-sell-centre-back/amp Here is one of th articles which were floating around saying the only reason we were willing to offload zouma was because he was marketable, unlike Rudi. So welllllll... Let's just drop this here. Don't wanna get In a back and forth again, specially about a dreg.
-
More laughable than some saying saying "Nor should we sell him". Talk about writing utter bollocks. Lol.
-
Sell alonso, keep him as 2nd LB.
-
Obviously he is not being sold because he has no market and no one would take a dreg out of our hands. As for "nor should he be", don't understand the logic behind that definitive for our worst CB this season (he even admitted his shit show before the fa cup final).

Can't find the athletic link. Can you post it?
-
Werner is 170kpw, and chilwell 190? This would make him our 2nd highest earner. I find that hard to believe and digest
-
Lol. No freaking way
-
Tbf, if we read the willian thread, you would think arsenal got a semi professional footballer. Fans tend to do that. What we have seen off chilwell, I think he will be great. If we had done this deal in 35m£, then most on here would have been very happy. Nonetheless, we have got a good player who is a definite upgrade over our last season's options.

We have an overall revenue of 500m (give or take). Messi yearly would cost 50m (wages) + 50 (amortized fee) + 10m (image rights) + 10 signing bonus (etc). I honestly doubt that messi alone would raise our revenue by 100-120m. If that was the case barca won't be behind united by 200m. Bayern won't be just 20m behind barca despite not having any massive marketable superstars. Ps - just checked. Our revenue for 2018/19 was record revenue of 423m£. And yet we incurred a 99.6m£ loss. So imho, it's beyond a pipe dream.
-
Get in!!! Good signing. Hope he proves his doubters hopelessly wrong.
-
Its relaxed only for this year. The same FY will be counted in the next window. Infact the next monitoring period will have 4 FYs. So I think the club will take FFP as seriously as they have in the past. We have not got in trouble with FFP, and dont think we would want to in the future
-
Dont have the CL
-
How do you think we can afford him? His wages alone are around 50m per year, which would be 10% of overall revenue for an year. Even if we are able to get him for 200m for let's say 4 years, that's 50m amortized fee. Another 10%. So 20% of our overall revenue on one player? This is on top of the 99m loss that we incurred for 2018-19. Anyone thinking we can "afford" him needs a reality check.

Ok. Missed that. Good to hear. Man, some of the names were so weird to even write down. Why do we still even have them on our books

A bit confused about our Loan dealings. According to the new rule: Players aged 22 and older are affected by the new rules, which only allow eight loans in and out as of the 2020/21 season – from the 2022/23 onwards, the limit is set at six players. Currently we already have: Piazon (26), Izzy brown (23), blackman (26), Pantic (23) So thats 4 players. We have Baka, zappa, DD, MvG, Moses,Tomori (22), Baba Rahman (26), Kenedy (24), Lewis Baker (24), Musonda (23), Clarke-Salter (22) I mean, am I missing anything? Or does it look like we are going to have to be giving a lot of wages for people for just sitting about doing nothing.
-
Would probably be the worst thing to happen to City. There is no way they will be able to afford him just by cash. Its got to be a player+player+cash or player+player+player deal. If I was on the Barca board, I would ask for a KDB+Jesus+angelino deal (Angelino as they were anyways rumored to want, Jesus to replace the suarez who is rumored to have his contract suspended and KDB is the most obvious guy). That deal would be worth 300m (200m+70m+30m). I seriously expect it to be a NBA type deal. Will be interesting to see how this plays.

Got 62% of votes here. Anyways, well deserved and congratulations to kova, hope he steps up and gives far more of an output in the last 3rd.

Face palm? Really? 😂😂😂

Fair enough. I still feel we are a DM away from being truly elite. A proper sitting DM, a Declan rice. With the CB, GK signings that we have done, it seems obvious that we don't have funds anymore now. If we can somehow sell Barkley and jorginho (lots of links with roma), it can give us the push to get Rice which might change my expectations for the season.
-
What is this based on? Chilwell did not have Kante baby sitting him. Watch him for the first half of the season. He looked really good. Yes 50m is 15m too much, but in no way is he anywhere as bad as DD
-
But would not it be overkill? Kante, Kova, Kai, Mount, Gilmour, RLC. Ziyech can play as a no.8/10 too. Just way too many CAMs. I
-
Decent move. Should be a massive upgrade on what we had last season.
-
Michy seems to be getting a lot of attention. Leeds, Newcastle, Benfica. Emerson is done, Baka is done. Jorginho is getting rumored to Roma, but they need to raise funds through Diawara (arsenal) and Schkik (Leverkusen) Surprisingly no rumors for Barkley as of yet, but thats one player we wont find hard to offload given that he is "English". Hopefully, we get offers for Alonso (sevilla), Jorginho (roma) and barkley and sell them off soon.
-
He is injured.
