Is this true? If so, this has us written all over it. Granny likes nothing more than activating a buy out.

I really cannot see Lukaku back here. Doesn't fit in with TT's style of play at all.
-
Well Turkey is going into full lockdown again this week. Personally, I cannot see it happening in Istanbul this year whether it is an all English final or not.

Sancho is overpriced that is the problem. I have said it for a while, but as a 21 year old he is much better off staying at Dortmund for another two years playing week in, week out and then leave on a free and pick up a massive signing on bonus and huge wage elsewhere as he will only be 23 when his contract expires.
-
Because he is on £100k a week and he really isn't that good. A odd goal isn't going to change that.

The problem I think will happen with those two players is that a) they'll want to be somewhere they will start, b) if we do get what everyone wants; a CF, CM and LCB, they'll start even less and c) to fund b, you've got to sell them as the others on the list are deadwood (read; no one else is going to pay a fee/their wages) or they're hard sells and need particular types of teams that want them (Jorgi/Ziyech.)

Starting to get to transfer season. I think we will try and shift a lot of players this Summer but I think we need to be realistic about what category each fall into and who we can actually keep if a decent offer comes in. Here is my 2p take: Players that will/can be sold, but would be handy squad players: Tammy - £40m (approx.) Tomori - £25m Zouma - £30m First team players who may be sold if good offers come in: Jorgi - £30m+ - see him being sold as the mix of Kante/Kova/Jorgi doesn't work over the course of a PL season. Personally, I am ok with Jorgi but see him being sold if anything over £30m is tabled. Ziyech - £35m - Probably the most controversial suggestion I will make. However, I think he doesn't really suit the PL and our mix of AM's are too similar. Can see him being sold if we get virtually our money back. Free transfers Giroud - Personally I would want him on a year extension but I doubt he will sign. Willy - Can see us getting another GK and cannot see Kepa going anywhere. Players who will Bogarde us or we have to pay most/some of their wages for a loan: Batsh*t Baka Drinky Baba Kepa (probably stays) Barkley RLC Zappa Loaned with a fee Gallagher Guehi (can see him of Ampadu as squad player) Amapdu (he or Guehi will be squad player next season) Billy Emerson Sarr Players with buy clause that could be activated due to team performance: Moses - £6m - If Spartak qualify for a CL place this kicks in. 50/50 atm.

This is an example of a game where we will sh*t points away. This is actually a must win but I can see TT resting a lot of the Real starting XI for the next leg. Have a bad feeling about this one can see it being a slog like Brighton. Mendy Zouma AC Rudi James Jorgi Billy Alonso Mount Ziyech Harvetz Can see Billy starting here as I cannot see him risking both Jorgi and Kante in this one if Kova is still uncertain. Although he may play Mount in the 6 and play Giroud/Tammy/Puli instead.

@Vesper you got any links for tonight?
-
Yeah, we aren't getting anything out of the ref regardless of what UEFA think of Real right now.
-
For sure. AC may need to step up and help out at times.
-
Dave makes sense in the sense you don't want to concede. Werner against a 3atb less so.
-
Probably three pens to Real.
-
I am with you. SMS makes a lot of sense to come in and play the pivot. If we continue to play a 3atb, a pure DMF isn't probably needed as we need to have No.6's that can join in with the attacking play and also be able to get a goal or two. However, I do have doubts over his ability to deal with the intensity of the PL as he isn't the quickest and his stamina isn't the best. However, this Summer is really one where he needs to decide whether he wants a big move as Lazio aren't going to be in the CL and he is starting to get to the point where if he leaves it much longer he will end up being seen as too old for the price Lazio will want.
-
Trying to get his boy Tammy a goal.
-
Take that.
-
Not a red. I'd be fuming if that was the other way around.
-
Feck me Timo, wtf was that.
-
Mate, we were all over the shop before TT came in. Since he has we have gone 14 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses. We still aren't the finished article and we are lacking a CF. Cannot see what more he should be doing atm.
-
Not for an attacking point but from a defensive point of view he offers more cover and isn't allowing them much access around the back on the right. Being 1-0 up, no way is he coming off.
-
I was thinking for the last five minutes we needed to get to half time at 0-0 as the Spammers were starting to come on strong. Then all of a sudden Timo pops up with one. Anyhow, the game isn't great but I would say on balance we are fairly comfortable. CM is an issue again but we all know this needs looking at in the Summer. All we need to do know is to play counter attack football and not do anything stupid.
-
Dave is criminally underrated by the football world by and large.
-
Every game for the rest of the season is now must win.
-
Agreed. The Real game is very 50/50 for me, however I think PSG is a bad match up for City as Neymer/Mbappe will have a field day against their high line. However, for PSG both us and Real are their nightmare. For me, if PSG get to the final, both us or Madrid should be favourites. If City get there, it will be tougher because if they step up their intricate play at a reasonable pace, they can pull both our and Real's defence about.

If you want to be a big club, you have to embrace a fixture list like that. I think finishing 4th is going to be hard, however if you want to win things, you have to accept it. Shithousery is the best way to win games. Too many people want to play tippy tappy football, so they can post gifs and have other people tell them how good they play. Give me a Lord Percy or a Costa f*cking someone over, any day of the week. Yeah, but the fact of the matter is our 3atb system is currently playing like late 80's/early 90's Milan. When that is the case, the GK is essentially a passenger. However, with Kepa, even in his 'good' seasons, the stats speak for themselves. Take a reasonable shot against him and you're 50/50 to get a goal. I swear bald refs have something against us.
