  1. Enzo isn't leaving it is too complicated. Additionally, I think he would only consider Real and they only do free's these days. At best it would be a swap of some sort but I cannot see a Real player that we could use going for our wage structure.
  2. I cannot see why CPO wouldn't agree. Earls Court is really the perfect spot for a multitude of reasons. Access - three tube stops and a overground are in the vicinity. In addition it has three+ exits. Ease of works - the club can stay at SB while they build EC. No need to feck off to Wembley for four+ years. Stadium viability - With the above and the footprint of EC the club can build a fully fit for purpose stadium and monetise the surround area of the grounds. In addition, EC was/is long established as being an events arena. This will mean residents will not be able to complain as easily about other events taking place there. Access to Heathrow. EC has a direct tube link to Heathrow. This makes it easier of international fans, artists etc to get to the ground. The only issue I see is the Chelsea name and the pitch ownership. However, if the club are sensible they will transfer that to EC. EC is by far and away the prime spot. It is only a 20-30 minute walk from SB so it is not as if we are moving away from our established/historic area. For me as a pitch owner there is absolutely no reason to stay at SB if EC is a possibility.
  3. TB has been speaking about the dynamics of the club. Seems like there is a split between redevelopment and new build. My guess is the new build would be at Earls Court. Imo, the club should prioritise Earls Court as it has much better transport links, they would have more scope to make it multi-purpose and we could build whilst not moving away from SB. Will be interesting how this plays out.
  4. You do realise his current output is what he produced at Utd for his entire time there? Forget about his Bundesliga form. Werner was also a 'goal/assist machine' there as well, along with a host of other players like Nkunku and Jovic etc.
  5. Bit hard for him to play well when his first instruction is to pass it sideways and drop into CM to bail out the CM's. This goes double when he has prats like Sancho and Nkunku standing around wanting ball to feet so he doesn't have a runner to take anyone away when he has the ball in the final third. People give Noni and Jackson a lot of criterism but at least they know how to run off the ball to free up some space for him.
  6. I don't know. I get the feeling the board like him because he does as told. Additionally, as they're stats nuts I am sure the sideways/backwards passing has them wanking over possession stats.
  7. He was the only player that played balls that was dangerous yesterday. He is still getting fit but at least he is capable of playing in the wingers/fb's over the top. The others just play backwards/sidewards tippy tappy balls with zero zip.
  8. I cannot watch any more Diet Pep football. I predicted yesterday's performance from a mile off and we only lost by 1-0 as Arsenal treated it like a pre-season game once they went 1 up. I will be back in the Summer, I cannot handle anymore of this insipid play. First time I have had to do this in my 37 years of supporting the club.
  9. Sancho is just playing at his level. Utd fans were doing cartwheels when he left.
  10. Insipid. Absolutely pathetic performance and tactics. OAP walking football at it's finest.
  11. 🥱 to the news of signing another 'promising' teenager.
  12. Somehow England think he is ready for international duty...
  13. Yeah, I cannot see anything other than a comfortable Arsenal win, without them needing to get out of second gear. Maresca will have us playing ultra pedestrian football in this one as he has done against all the 'named' teams - even fecking Utd. Then come out after the game, talk about the importance of possession/that the team is not ready and make up some nonsense about the chances we created that no one can remember.
  14. Away shirt I may consider. Hopefully we get an option to have it without a sponsor. That said I haven't brought a shirt for over ten years so maybe not.
  15. He has been one of the best GK's in Ligue 1 this year. Currently we have two GK's fighting it out as to who is the slightly less error prone. Petro isn't a WC GK but he is better at doing the fundermentals of the GK role than Sanchez and by the looks of it Jorgensen (who I still haven't fully judged as I haven't seen enough of him - as I always find GK's difficult to judge without a large sample of games and that goes double if their sample is in a lower quality competition(s).
  16. Really weird it is now mid-March and he still hasn't been charged and there is a complete lack of news on him. Something surely has to be going on.
  17. Going to be like a home leg for Legia at the Bridge.
  18. 450 mins without conceeding a goal ATM.
  19. Yep. Arsenal even with their injuries will turn us over easily with performances like the past 4, despite the wins.
  20. Seems sensible, which means it will not happen.
  21. Not convinced by this guy. Good to know we potentially have a get out of jail card. At best for me, he is a HG option from off the bench from what I have seen of him at Utd and us. However, his wages on any long term deal would need to reflect this.
  22. Good player and one I rate. However, Cucu is making a late run for PotY for us. If we sign this guy, Cucu would either have to move position or be sold. Not sure about either of those options as we have massive issues at GK, CB and CF that need addressing first. Then there is also RB where we are weaker now James is finally being converted for midfield.
