  1. Torres is too bad to start, and Schurle is too bad to waste a midfield slot.
  2. Indeed. Luiz, Mikel; Lampard, Ramires, Hazard; Torres
  3. I would go: Cech; Ivan, Terry, Cahill, Azi; Luiz, Ramires, Oscar, William, Hazard; Schurle. Mourinho line up will be: Luiz, Mikel; Lampard, Ramires, Schurle, Hazard; Torres.
  4. Ok. 13 useless appearences as a sub. About the face palm, lets wait and see where he will be in 3 or 4 seasons.
  5. Schurle is only a mediocre player. He scored his 7 goals in 4 matches. He started 11 matches, scored goals in 4. In other 7 he was nowhere to be seen, In the other 23, where he appeared as sub, I cant remember one single time when he was able to make a good impact or to improve what we already had. He needed 4 games (out of 23) to make people see him as good enough to start matches for a team pretending to win the EPL or UCL. Perhaps he is the german Kalou: a player that will score some goals, which means the manager will give him more playing time, but more playing time means he will be doing more useless things.
  6. No. He can be a striker with intelligent movement from deep.
  7. Monster. Yeah, for some reason: He used to scary Chelsea's fans when he is playing.
  8. I agree with you, but thats the problem with our team. At the same time we have Hazard as our best player, Cahill is our 2nd best in the whole season. This is a team that needs to find the balance between Hazard brilliance and Cahill mediocrity. Winning the league while Cahill is our player of the year, only behind Hazard? Never a possibility.
  9. My prediction: PSG 1 x 3 Chelsea
  10. Nice words, but Mourinho is not looking for long terme here...is Ivanovic our long term RB? Is Azi our long term LB? Is a long term plan having no clue about how we play against defensive sides? Mourinho record shows he is always concerned about instant success.
  11. Arsenal 8 trophyless seasons. Thats why they are specialist. 8 seasons. This season is just one season. About the consistence, I dont think we are more consistent. Since december we dropped points to Villa, West Ham and Crystal Palace. Outplayed City at Etihad, just to play like shit days later against the same team.
  12. Surely he is not one of those players. Luiz barely play against small teams. Hes been playing in big matches as a DM or in UCL, and against small teams he is sitting on the bench. He is talking about our attacking players: Oscar, Schurle and Hazard.
  13. The truth is Cahill is a very limited defender. We had Luiz, who is an error making machine and lacks discipline, while Cahill is the hardworking man, and has a no nonsensical playing style. So Cahill seems a huge improvement. Yes, we have the best defense in the league, but not because we have 4 superb defenders, but because the team as a whole is more concerned about defending than attacking, thats why at the end of the day we create few chances to "kill the game" in most matches. Mourinho is favoring mediocrity. Thats why he made Ivanovic his number 1 RB. Other players were turned into mediocre ones, like Ramires, who had 12 and 9 goals in two past seasons, and 7 and 8 assists, this season he has only 4 goals and 2 assists, despite playing game after game.
  14. To other side, it was a match where we were facing a defensive side and needed to take the initiative, unlike the game against Arsenal or City, a match where we needed more than "not losing the ball" (and in fact he did many times) and more than "recovering the ball in a very clean way, with fouls in dangerous positions"...
  15. Why every time we face another european team in UCL we have strange people coming to this forum?...we are enough of "only places to be", we dont need more annoying people around.
  16. Lets see what Mourinho thinks about it. He said Arsenal are failure specialist, Benitez was a loser because we end up in 3th last season. Failure.
  17. For me, Mourinho failed to create a team. We dont have a pattern, we dont know whats our playing style, and at the end of the day Mourinho made some moves because, after all, he believed the team could win the league in a ugly way. I really dont know how he can be happy with Ivanovic. A full back duties is more than defending. Ivanovic have almost zero attacking skills. Yesterday there was a moment when he was free to cross, had all the time in the world to make an assist, but his "cross" was a more of an long shoot than a cross. We have Azi playing as a LB, he is doing really well, but guess what, he is a RB, he is better than Ivanovic, and I dont know how Cole can do worst as a LB, than Ivanovic is doing as a RB. We dont know how our midfield look like. Matic-Ramires-Willian-Oscar-Hazard; Matic, Luiz, Ramires, Willian, Hazard; Matic, Luiz, Lampard, Schurle, Hazard; Matic, Lampard, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard. Some people might think it means Mourinho have a dynamic midfield, but its the opposite. Despite all those changes, we dont a have a pattern, we dont have a playing style, the team usually waste 45 minutes with a slow start, and Mourinho end up moaning about the 3 chances the team missed during the match...but in football usually you have to create many chances to score one goal, if teams like Barcelona or Bayern scored in every opportunity they create, they would be scoring 20 goals in a match. Limited teams need to score, or "kill the game", with only 2 or 3 opportunities, because its the only way they know to victory. When the team barely create, every single chance missed seems a huge deal. Yesterday in the 2nd half, there was only 1 great chance (the one Hazard missed), now its easy to say Hazard doesnt have the balls to "kill the game" when he has to, or its even more easy to blame Torres, but for me, one single chance in 45 minutes against Crystal Palace is not enough for a team fighting for the league.
  18. Since Mourinho returned, we have a lot of people in this forum with hypercritical views towards our own players. The reason why is very simple: Mourinho is a GOD, so if you get bad results, its the players fault. We already have some people saying Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia have better squads, and that speaks loud. After Villa defeat, I thought we played well, and I had positive opinions about that game, but yesterday it was a different history. Mourinho GOT IT WRONG, from the beginning to finish. His selection was awful, and please, dont tell me it was the same team that played against Arsenal. Crystal palace is a differet team, with a different approach. Matic-Luiz-Lampard-Hazard-Schurle Someone expected a different game with this kind of midfield? He said we failed to convert our opportunities in the 1st half. Bullshit. I think we created one single chance in the first 45 minutes, the one that Schurle missed. What I have to say about his subs? Can anyone please tell me exactly what he was thinking with his 4-1-3-2 formation? Ba+Torres upfront? All he got was letting Crystal Palace create 5 chances to score the 2nd goal. But, at the end of the day, the reason is lack of balls, and no surprise, we have some people buying that excuse.
  19. Disgard Willian? Every time Schurle score, we know he will play like shit next game.
  20. Only a UCL final will save Mourinho first season from being a failure.
  21. If you cant see manager mistakes in this game, okay, but I saw every single player giving a fuck. ps: I was the same excuse for AVB, RDM, Ancelotti. The problem was that the players were not giving a fuck. Football is more complex that giving or dont giving a fuck.
  22. Dude, you are just a Mourinho lunatic. You are not alone in this forum, and for your information, days ago I said Mourinho job has been inconsistent and you said I hated Mourinho. I hope you know understand what inconsistency means: 6-0 against Arsenal; 0-1 against Crystal.
  23. Luiz was not injured, it was a tactical decision. Mourinho said in post match interview.
  24. Mourinho never have bad tactics, its always the players fault, so don't waste your time trying to prove every Mourinho decisions was a good one, because we already know that The Special One never get it wrong.
