I understand if he chooses to leave. His career might be completely destroyed if he stays under Mourinho for another season.

I hope he is playing a lot in recent games to rest our attacking players. Not even close of being good enough for a starting role.

Hello James (nice to name). I think you just said the obvious. The system is not enough to determine if a team is offensive or defensive, but you missed the most important fact: Chelsea's squad. Playing 4-2-3-1 with the current squad is indeed a conservative approach, specially when we were facing teams like Crystal palace with Matic+Luiz in the pivot. Mourinho tried a more adventurous approach in the first leg of the season with Lampard+Ramires, but this partnership had poor presence in the mid, and could not cover the defenders properly. I don't even need to reply the "Guess you weren't complaining when we beat the smaller sides with this 4-2-3-1, were you? ". But the answer is "yes". I think many will agree that even when the team was beating the "smaller sides", the team was far from convincing, creating few chances and relying on the individual brilliance of our attacking men. With the squad we have, 4-2-3-1 is not the answer for a game where you need to take the initiative.

He just want to increase his price tag, or he is saying Torres is not for sale. I believe Torres wants to leave. The club want opposite such move.

Its not their fault. Think about Hazard. He was a good player in Lille, playing in french league. When he was signed, you just need to read the reactions here. He suddenly became a fan-favourite, we became the best squad in the league, and that kind of stuff. Neymar is another bizarre case, NEVER in a WC, a player got so much attention like brazilian press will give to Neymar this year, its almost ridiculous. The press play a big part in the whole thing. Days ago Matic was voted the 6th best signing of the season, even if we were in 2nd when he was bought and will finish in 3rd.
-
lol Matic.

It doesn't matter, but this is what happened with Mourinho this season. Lampard barely played as a box-to-box. He became a DM this season. His attacking impact was close to none this season, just compare his goals with past season. Ramires played as a 2nd DM the whole season, you just need to compare his goals/assists stats with the previous two. This season his was spending less time supporting the team in the attack, and making more stupid things in the mid. Against Palace, as an example, we played with Matic+Luiz. I'm not talking about you, but there are lot of people who support Mourinho 100% of the time.

I don't think anyone here is asking for Mourinho's head. Thats the difference between Mourinho and a manager without his CV. After a bad season, you still believe Mourinho will turn things right and make Chelsea as strong as any team around the globe. To other side some people start to have misgivings about Mourinho. Football is really dynamic. 10 years ago Wenger was still great, at this moment he is still managing Arsenal because they lack ambition. Its clear for everyone that Arsenal could do better with a younger manager with fresh ideas. Sometimes changing is necessary for both clubs and managers. A lot of great managers from the past needed to spend years on the ostracism to get back at the highest level: Louis Van Gaal, Del Bosque, Jupp Heynckes, to name a few. Just like everyone, I thought we would win the PL this season because of Mourinho's impact, but I have to admit that I was really surprised that at some points it looked like Mourinho didn't know what he was doing, and I'm sure that his line-up against Atlético raised some eyebrows. The difference between a genius and a mad man is the success, the first Atlético goal came after a cross from the side where the team had two full backs, and the team lost 3-1 at home. Its not only about the result, it was the way the team was defeated. It had a lot to do with tactical choices, it wasn't because Atlético had a better squad, as some people are claiming, and even if thats the case, so why are the managers for, if at the end of the days is the quality of the squad that really matters? I don't believe in Mourinho when he is saying he took the hard option. After he left Madrid he said he wanted to be in a place he was loved. At Chelsea and in England, people think he is some kind of tactical god, he has the majority of the fans and of the press in his pocket. In PSG he would win some national leagues, but would add only stats in his CV, because there is a abysm between PSG and the rest of the league, they are supposed to win the league with any manager in the world, but everyone know what PSG really wants. Winning the UCL with a french team is a really HUGE task. If he really wanted some hard challenge, why he is not in Italy again? If any manager in the world win a UCL with a italian club in the next 3 years, this man would be a real genius. Being at Chelsea again is far from a hard job. Chelsea is easily the best option for him at this moment, at least was one year ago. It was the natural choice for him. So, the big question for next season is: can Mourinho improve this team? Will the team have more success next season? Some people believe the only answer is yes. We all hope "yes" is the answer, but after what I saw this season, and can expect anything to happen, from the team winning 4 trophies, to Mourinho leaving the club after another trophyless season.

Mourinho biggest mistake this season was never giving up the 4-2-3-1 system. Its a really effective system if you are facing teams like Liverpool or City, but he was using the same system against teams like Crystal Palace. I mean, whats the point of fielding two DM against Palace? Anyone expected a different game with such conservative line-up against a ultra-defensive game? but some people here were saying Mourinho got the tactics right because it was the same line-up he used against Arsenal. I don't even have to discuss this subject, because if you think you should use the same tactics facing completely different animals like Arsenal and Palace, then the whole discussion is over. I really liked Tx "rhetoric", because it reveals whats is going on here: some members see Mourinho as a special manager because of the period between 2004 and 2007, thats why they are way too lenient sometimes.

He said yesterday he wishes the WC would start tomorrow: thats right, even before of the end of the season. Not sure if he is the kind of player that have the ambition to play in a giant club.

I'm afraid this might be the dead of Premier League as the best league in the world: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/08/premier-league-division-b-teams-fan-commission-greg-dyke-league-three-non-eu-players I predict a mediocre league in 2022.

Simeone liked some of my pictures on instagram. Ok, who cares.

While they have Bale and other players now, they lost the likes of Ozil and Higuain.

Some people really have problems. Even in the report the writer seems to dismiss the story as a simple rumor. Luiz might end up in Barcelona next season, but at this point there is nothing. I also thinks its unbelievable that some people think if he is sold, the money (30m) should be use to buy a CM or a striker. Only optimistic Chelsea's fans, and the english press believe Terry is as good as 10 years ago: just remember his awful games in the end of the season, including an own goal in a decisive game, and a assist to a PSG goal, and a poor performance in the UCL semi-final. Cahill had an overall good season, but I have misgivings about his performances the long term. In the most important game of the season he was everything but solid and comfortable. That amount of money should be used to improve our defense. CB and another full back.

I think in every "interview" the member should say some basic things about him/herself: who you are, what do you do, or perhaps before the interview. That will help in formulating the questions.
-
About that player: I'm pretty sure its Luiz. After that Manchester game Luiz probably said something wrong to Carlo. After that, Luiz was dropped for the remaining games of the season, despite being a regular starting XI since he was bought in january window.

Ancelotti is a very good manager when he already have a team in his hands: just compare Ream Madrid record this season with past season, or reaching the Final for the first in 12 years. Chelsea played one of the best footballs I have ever seen in 09/10 PL season. He is not a guy to build a new team tough. His weaknesses were exposed in 10/11 season, it seems he was beginner playing FIFA: he was just changing players without changing the way the team played or even changing the formation. He couldn't find a way to use his new players (Ramires had an abysmal season), and he couldn't handle the Torres situation. I remember one game when the CB's were out of action, then in a game against a small PL side he decided to use Paulo Ferreira as his CB, instead of using Bruma. No doubt the kid decided to leave. I don't see is sacking as a bad decision.
-
People are slowly realizing he is good, but no THAT good as people were picturing him after a couple of games. The Mourinho story doesn't make any sense tough, days ago he said Matic is his DM for next season.
-
I bought Bony in FIFA. Bony+Costa. Bony is the kind of striker we should look after. He is a cheap striker and underrated. He has been an outstanding player this season.
-
The corner that saved our asses.
-
lol that was a good one.
-
I have to admit: he is a boss in FIFA 14.
-
After the game it seems left the pitch as soon as the match ended.
-
I'm really looking forward to interview zolayes. How the hot-sear would work?

Is that a stupid question?
