Ozil is more naturally talented than Sanchez, that's undeniable. People are blinded by goals too much, saying Sanchez is better than Ozil is like saying Sanchez is better than Hazard IMO.

How I see it as well. I would genuinely sell Baba and have him and Ake compete at LB next season.

Torres cost us £50m and had ridiculously high wages, and was also our number 1 striker. Pato would be none of those. We don't need a number 1 striker, Costa is fine. If this deal allows us to get rid of Falcao's wages I'm up for it tbh.

Yup. Baba has not impressed much at all in the limited time he's been given. I can only assume he isn't impressing much in training either. Compare it with someone like RLC who has had just as many limited minutes but has looked far more impressive than Baba. I actually think (unfortunately) that Azpi and Ivan are our best fullbacks by some distance, which is a shame. Never convinced by the signing and he's not doing anything to prove me wrong so far but time will tell. Thought we should've got a more established fullback like Kurzawa or maybe Gaya in the summer.

Baba is not as talented as Busquets is though, you can't say the talent is equivalent. It's a poor comparison.

He's clearly still trying to adapt to the league but I can't say I'm surprised with his performances in general. He's a good squad player, that's all he'll ever be here. Said that from the start. Signing Pedro was never the real solution, but he's a decent bridge at the very least, for maybe one of our youth players or maybe to allow us to bide some time and get a proper quality player in the AM strata.

It was a decent performance, there was no need for us to even leave second gear. We were creating chances, could've comfortably been 3 or more from us. Delighted for RLC. I did say that Guus will bring on the youngsters later. Glad he did. We need to keep building the momentum.
