Even if you think that's the case (not sure what Pedro has done so wrong btw), getting in Cuadrado on both is not an upgrade in any sense.

We're so stacked at AM. We don't need him. Pedro provides what Cuadrado would perfectly. We have some great talents like Musonda, Kenedy and someone like Traore and Boga who could easily fill in there. No need for Cuadrado at all. At the moment we have Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Oscar, Kenedy, Traore and have Musonda and Boga out on loan. You think adding Cuadrado is wise?

He wasn't. He was the one that was trying to close Di Maria down: who was his opposite number anyway (who made the pass to Zlatan). He should've been covered by our centre backs, and it wouldn't have been a problem if Cahill didn't pretend to go with Zlatan and confuse Ivanovic and Kenedy in the process, this given Zlatan a free cross of the ball.

I certainly hope so, if he stays. His talent is undeniable, which is why its frustrating.

My problem with Matic is that he seems to sometimes harm the team. Yes Mikel doesn't provide much, but Matic makes too many mental mistakes atm and that could cost us more. He is the better footballer but is much more prone to mistakes at the moment. I don't blame Hiddink for choosing a reliable 6/10 performer over him, tbh.

People shouldn't blame Kenedy for the goal either. It really wasn't anything to do with bad positioning... He was squaring up Di Maria who made the pass to Ibra to begin with... It's Cahill who should've gone with Ibra instead of pretending to go with him which confused Ivanovic and Kenedy.

Cahill with an amateurish mistake again... Poor. He isn't a top level CB. Just confused our whole back four.

Ironically, every single move of ours going forward is being messed up by our supposed best attacking outlet (Hazard)...

Sell Oscar, buy Pjanic. Simple. A midfield of Pjanic - DM - Fabregas would be insane creatively.

Just because he's playing LB does not mean he'll see the ball less. Modern full backs touch the ball very often in today's game and are a major part in anyone's game going forward.

Why not? He's already done it before. He was a huge player for Atletico when they won the title.

Costa is easily a top 5 striker IMO. Can't really upgrade on him atm. There are only a few strikers better than him. In no order, my top 5 is Suarez, Aguero, Costa, Lewandowski and Benzema. None of the others are attainable. If we want to be a force, upfront is one of the last places we'd look to improve. In fact, with the way Traore is developing, if we get in another good striker to challenge both him and Costa we're more than fine there.

Say it ain't so. We need to cash in on him ASAP.

At least Guus stayed honest to his word and actually gave RLC decent minutes unlike a certain fella...

We don't necessarily need to buy another player/superstar in the AM strata, we seem to be pretty stacked there, especially if Hazard stays and regains form. I'd be happy with any combination of Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Kenedy, Oscar, Musonda or Traore/Boga next season tbh. If we wanted to improve there I'd simply sell Oscar and upgrade on him.

Pedro has been pretty good recently, wouldn't band him in the same boat as Oscar at all.

Maybe as an insurance policy in case we sold Remy.
