  1. It's not even that. It's just that he plays a different role for Nigeria - at CFC he's instructed to play the way he does here.
  2. Yeah, definitely the Man City trio of Aguero, Silva and Toure. Imagine if we had those three. Also Modric.
  3. No I wasn't jumping down your throat mate, I was on about the guy who said Oscar is the new Kalou sorry if you thought I did!
  4. A bit unfair?! Absolutely ludicrous statement to make in the first place. Kalou was never as naturally talented as Oscar is right now. Oscar needs a manager that'll develop him properly. He will turn into a beast of a player that way.
  5. Wouldn't mind either. Both would be indefinitely better than Tubby.
  6. Terry and Luiz were better under RDM this season.
  7. He always could but the way Chelsea use him does not allow him to utilise his full passing range.
  8. Balotelli with the winner! Brilliant, he's going to be a star at Milan.
  9. I think Hutcho's been good this month, tbh everyone on the list are consistently good posters. Muzchap hasn't won it before (I think) so I'll be voting for him just for that reason!
  10. Nothing wrong with drifting out wide at all IMO. Doesn't mean you're a winger. 1) It allows and creates space for the likes of Suarez and Gerrard who are lethal around the box. 2) It's a trademark move of a famous Arsenal legend. Didn't make him any less of a striker!
  11. Ghana - Nigeria in the final hopefully. Should be fantastic.
  12. I feel we bought Oscar after Porto priced us out of a move for Hulk. I think the initial plan for the season was for us to have Torres Hazard - Mata - Hulk As the front four but that obviously didn't happen. That's why we pursued Moses and Oscar instead - I think the plan is to move Oscar into the pivot later on in his development though.
  13. He did. Suarez played behind him, with Gerrard in the middle alongside Lucas. He was Liverpool's furthest man up. Moving into channels is just part of his game.
  14. He's never been quick or agile. This isn't something new, it's one of Terry's few limitations as a player, everyone knows that.
  15. Liability? This is the first game he's played 90 minutes in for months. Are you completely forgetting that we were at our best defensively this season when JT was playing week in week out? Disgusting how club legends get treated on here.
  16. Yeah let's let Terry, Cole, Cech and Lampard leave ASAP because our squad can clearly deal without them. Right. Are you new to football or something?
  17. Apart from his "mistake" (which I think was more of a collective defensive mistake) Terry was our most solid defender yesterday.
  18. Exactly this. Any manager worth their salt would instruct the team to slow down the frantic pace of the game a little and take control of it. Not under Benitez though. He doesn't react at all.
  19. JT was probably our best defender today regardless of him charging forward for the second goal. He led the line pretty well, I think it was due to our tactics overall that we lost/conceded three. He's encouraged to do it. We need at least one aggresor in the CB partnership - our whole defence was sleeping for Newcastle's second goal - there was really no need to keep such a high line. Anyone could see that Newcastle were set up for the counter and that's exactly what they did. Personally I would've asked the team to drop a little bit deeper but that obviously didn't happen. After their second goal went in there was no reaction from our touchline really, could see their third goal coming especially after Pardew introduced Marveaux - again no reaction from the touchline - I know we haven't got many players on the bench to bring on but ideally bringing on someone like Marin for Bertrand who wasn't even providing extra defensive cover to win the game would've been a decent move. Seriously can't wait for Luiz, Hazard, Mikel and Moses to come back. They'll improve the squad tenfold. Rafa isn't doing anything whatsoever to prove he's still good enough to manage this club.
