As long as Eto'o and Hazard are back I'd be comfortable with us taking the initiative.

Apart from the West Ham game where we weren't clinical enough, in the other games we just weren't good enough, barely created any quality chances. The amount of shots do not indicate proper chances either.

Just this year (2014), not including the earlier part of the season... Add Newcastle (L), West Brom (D), and Stoke (L) to that from 2013, and you'll see why people including myself harp about us not being good enough against the smaller teams as the reason why we're probably not going to win the PL this year.

It's because that allows Ronaldo/Bale/Di Maria to exploit the spaces he's left up front. That's how Real play and why he has a lot of assists every year.

They're different type of players, Tiote is a destroyer whilst Sissoko is a B2B midfielder. Tiote has been very average/mediocre for two seasons now, wouldn't want to sign him at all.

That is due to the system Wenger has played... If we look at him individually then Arsenal's CBs were pretty good this season.

We were fine against West Ham, just very unlucky/not clinical enough not to score. It's other games where we've struggled to create meaningful chances. The approach in that game was fine. A lot of teams have tried to stop Liverpool from scoring, even West Ham themselves a few games back, but the difference is that they are more adventurous because they've obviously got better strikers and a few players that suit a more expansive game as well. They also usually score very early in games, so that doesn't allow their opponent to settle down. They've been distinctively average in general against the bigger teams this season though, but fortunately for them they've put away most other teams this season.

They do, they just can't defend as well as we can.

I don't think Oscar will ever be in the class of Mata, Ozil or Silva when it comes to creativity, it's a natural ability you need to have. If he ever gets to just below that level I'd be delighted but he's been very below par creatively this season.

I don't think he's capable of it. He's not bad creatively, but just don't think he'll reach Mata level.
