  1. I can actually see him going to City if Yaya is really going to leave.
  2. Fabregas would play in central midfield for United. He hasn't played number 10 for Barcelona, Barcelona don't even play with one because they have Messi at false 9. Fabregas has played his best football in the CM position. I don't really know why you keep saying he's a number 10 when he's a number 8 naturally.
  3. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/players/cesc-fabregas/10866981/Cesc-Fabregas-can-leave-for-30m-Barcelona-tell-Arsenal-Manchester-United-Chelsea-and-Manchester-City.html
  4. Koke's release clause is £48m.
  5. £30m? He's a cunt, but I would honestly go ahead and buy him.
  6. When has that been proven to be the case to begin with?
  7. Instant success won't be dependant on having Luis or Shaw...
  8. Likewise, how do you know wouldn't Shaw acclimatise to European football either?
  9. I wouldn't mind the Filipe Luis signing but using "he's played against Ronaldo, Bale, Di Maria and Pedro" as an argument as to why we should sign him is very poor. Using the "can he cut it out in Europe?" argument in conjunction to that is poor as well. Not every right winger in Europe is Bale/Di Maria/Pedro level... Sure, Luis is a top left back, one of the best in Spain, but Shaw based on current ability is also one of the best in his position already in the PL too. Shaw plays beyond his years already. On average, the jump from PL to CL isn't even that big because you don't face the best of the best every game. You're really reaching if you're trying to use European experience as a reason not to sign Shaw IMO.
  10. Fully agreed. Rickie Lambert is a very decent player. They've actually managed to improve their strike force a lot for next year. Suarez, Sturridge, Lambert and Borini is a very potent set of strikers.
  11. Lambert is an okay signing, massive improvement on Aspas and as some have said already, gives Liverpool a plan B. Good squad depth signing. If Pool manage to get Moreno, Lallana and Lovren as well they've improved their squad a lot.
  12. Luis is not a bad signing at all to me, he is a very good left back after all and is very good going forward and solid at the back... However, if we're going to spend £20m+ on a LB I'd prefer Shaw instead. Either way, it's still an improvement because it'll mean that we can finally get proper natural width from our full backs, as it'll mean Azpi will move back to the right.
  13. Shaw is already a top 3 LB in the PL IMO. He's definitely more than ready to come in play a key role. When people speak about his potential it doesn't mean he isn't ready to start contributing already. Kid is already a very good player and doesn't really lack much in his game. For a LB he's very complete. If we're going to spend £20m on Luis I would definitely rather pay the extra money to get Shaw in.
  14. That's understandable, but some (not you per se) are okay with £50m on Koke yet think £50m on Pogba is 'outrageous'... I don't get it.
  15. Have you ever even watched Kroos play?Oscar is more creative than Kroos?
  16. So people are okay with spending £50m on Koke but aren't with £50m on Pogba? Okay.
  17. Really? Whenever I see him play for Nigeria he actually looks really good, like a CB beyond his years (ACON mainly). His performances there made the coach drop captain Yobo. Hope he has a good WC.
