Not sure you can even compare this to Sturridge. Sturridge was actually here at the club and patiently waited for his time. Sturridge had Anelka, Drogba and Torres ahead of him - and when the former two left and he only had Torres ahead of him who wasn't performing well he still didn't get a proper chance up front. Rightfully complained about it IMO, and because the club didn't want to renew his contract (huge mistake obviously) he had to go as he had 6 months left if I remember correctly? Lukaku however seems expecting to come in and be no. 1 striker - that's just ridiculous to start with. He could come in and be just behind Costa under a manager that does rightly rotate strikers - he would definitely get a lot more chances than Sturridge did here. He's opening his mouth way too many times for my liking. Should simply just shut up and focus on his football, and even if he did want a transfer away he could do so without spilling it out to the media. Idiotic really. Very disappointed in him.
