  1. Begovic is more than decent though. Courtois can win games for us though, similarly how DDG did for united when they went through a bad spell.
  2. Yeah, 1 more. JT is old, Cahill is also getting there.
  3. I personally think he's better (or will be better) than Mangala and Sakho tbh.
  4. I would definitely take Arjen for a couple of seasons.
  5. For Swansea. An entirely different environment than Chelsea and Atletico.
  6. IMO Musonda almost always looks a level above his fellow players when he's on the pitch. He needs to be tested at a higher level.
  7. My argument is, that if this is the case, why are we not just using this platform to develop our younger players with great potential (Musonda, RLC, etc.) at the highest level? There has to be a silver lining in this chaotic situation we're in at the moment but we're just not seeing it/utilising it.
  8. Having an amazing first touch really doesn't correlate to goal scoring.
  9. Higuain, one of the biggest bottlers in recent history, your dream transfer?
  10. I would love to see a midfield of Hazard - Musonda - Willian - RLC - Matic going forward...
  11. Not really. Jose didn't use Modric well at Madrid either.
  12. Positioning will come with age. He had great potential.
  13. And to think you got slated on here for preferring Willian to Oscar last season... He's the only one that can hold his head up high this season so far.
  14. Can't believe we're actually contemplating selling. Ffs.
  15. I swear you didn't rate Isco? Over Oscar anyway?
  16. Same people that are willing to give Mourinho until the end of the season at least should also do the same for Eden. He was PL PoTY... Give him some time instead of saying that you want him to leave.
  17. Any striker would be struggling IMO.
  18. West Ham was one game, I'd be wary to say there's been a clear improvement just yet.
  19. It's more been the case of 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Overall... There hasn't been enough improvement at all. Key players are still not performing and results are still not acceptable.
  20. Luiz was amazing in the WC until that one game against Germany tbh.
  21. It's true that Pep took the likes of Xavi, Iniesta etc. to the next level, but no one thought at the time that they were all elite, world class generational players in the making. It's easy to say in hindsight. Who knows, maybe Pep can elevate the likes of Hazard, Oscar, Zouma, Azpi, Courtois etc. (Just throwing some names out there) to the next level as well, whilst bringing through very talented youth players such as Boga, Musonda etc... And maybe give someone like RLC a proper breakthrough as well. I just think it's very difficult to tell, and a lot easier to say you disagree when you look at it in hindsight. However, you could easily be right - definitely not disagreeing with the premise of your argument.
  22. I'm sorry, how exactly are the Arsenal board a million times better?
  23. Barcelona weren't that good when Pep took over. In fact, they were in a similar position to us (squad quality size).
