Lewandowski is best striker in the world. I would pay 100m for him this summer with 4 years contract and in 2025 he could leave for free and it would be worth it. I followed his workouts and nutrition and he is one of the most prepared players out there. Cavani and Ibra delivered in PL while older so no problem.
Are we back to 7 players on bench this season? Because if we are I don't see place for Rice in 18 players. 2 Ballon d' Or candidates starting, Kova on the bench and that is it.
Never understood how can he waste whole career in Bundesliga? I know, one of the greatest teams ever, big money but he won everything there, doesn't he want to try something new?
How can anyone say top4?
We have been top4 last 3 seasons. Plus all the investments and just won CL. We absolutely have to fight for title. I am tired of giving up on league in December.
Gap on City is just 7 points if you count only TT time.
Timo/Kai have conversation rate of big chances 20-25%. If they go 55-60% which is still nothing special just average the gap is closed.
Our best bet is to have same amazing defense like last season and big part of job is already done.
IF I am not wrong Chelsea:Fulham 8:2 a couple of years ago was also behind closed doors but Chelsea twitter account followed the game with lineups, subs, goals...
GAME DAY!
Will any journos provide some coverage?
More than anything I hope Gallagher shines.
Also, no more fucking around, full pre season... Puli, Ziyech, CHO better step up this season, this is their chance.
We want 4th midfielder but from the perspective of that player is not that simply.
Jorginho and Kante had strong finish of the season. According to bookies they are in top7 most likely winners of Ballon d Or! So they are certain starters.
Kova is also someone TT likes a lot and will play his regular 2500-3000 mins. So where would that leave our 4th MF? Look how much was space there for Billy.
And I think we are back to 7 subs which means you have 2 players on the pitch, 1 one the bench which leaves that 4th guy in the stands.
So we either give that role to Gallagher or buy Tchouameni but making sure he knows that he will not play a lot in a first season or two.
CWC and Super Cup are must! I would rather win these and get out of CL group stage than play CL final and lose them all.
PL is also big priority this season. Attack title but even with Haaland not sure we can compete with City if they get Kane and Grealish.
Two domestic cups and CL after just winning it have low priority for me but it is always nice to win more trophies.
Also please less pragmatic footy. Playing James/Azpi as RWB over CHO screams that. MM also as one of front 3 players. That means we have basically 9 players on the pitch who are not likely to score and are there for defensive purposes.
Change that and put more offensive players.
I barely watched Kounde so I am not going to say anything about his abilities. But speaking about height, in 3 atb, one CB being shorter is less of a issue.
Walker just played it for England and he is 178cm. Azpi the same. Reece just a bit taller. D Ambrosio played regularly for Conte and he is 180cm. In 3atb, one CB being shorter and with pace is almost advisable.
It would be a issue with regular formation but even there you have example of Barca dominating Euro footy with Mascherano 174cm and Puyol 178cm.
Kounde as RCB with Chris in the middle and Rudi LCB would not be a issue at all.
Apples and oranges. Lewa is still best striker in the world. Would cost +100m and that would mean no Haaland. We are talking about Griezmann on loan for a year before Haaland gets available.
