Some of the changes from last season that all improved us a lot. Rudiger very often goes high on the pitch. Wing backs going in the middle and with wingers making a lot of runs in empty space which was not the case last season.

I never said assists from corners don't count I used corners as argument when we spoke about Mount's creativity. Because obviously set piece assists don't show creativity. Just like they don't show Ziyech's creativity but you have good or bad set piece takers. I have been calling for set pieces taker change to happen way before it actually happened (after Arsenal game in round 36) and since then we scored 7 goals after corners (6 this season). With MM that percentage was tremendously lower. Also I don't think Ziyech is best taker. He should be 3rd after Chilwell and James.

We beat United 6 times with Alonso starting, City 5 times. Spurs 9 times. So he faced all those great wingers and there was zero damage defensively because of him.

Last 5 games: assist against Southampton disallowed goal, hit the post - overall unlucky game against Newcastle only goal against Malmo assist against LC and today only one assist officially but he took corner for Chalobah goal, great little play before RLC/CHO goal... CHO and Ziyech undroppable at the moment. Other 5 players fight for one spot.

Saul aside who played just 250-300 mins this season and is on loan, he has been most underwhelming player in the squad this season by far. 2 season ago only Azpi played more minutes, last season he was number one in minutes played but this season only 14/15th in the squad. He missed some games due injury but Lukaku/Werner/Pulisic/Ziyech were out even longer. Even RLC is ahead for AM role on merit this season.

Pulisic/CHO are also option for LWB.
