  1. Is it a problem that can be fixed? We saw the same thing under Sarri. Start off brilliantly but collapse after the slightest amount of pressure. Also, you bring up creating chances, yet the only real chances we create is from the result of forcing the opposition to make a mistake when we press them. Other than that, there is no creativity in this team. When our attackers and midfield tire, the chances dry up and the other team takes control. We saw it against United, Liverpool, and now today. I think it's wishful thinking to expect we will create chances out of nothing. There's a reason we saw little to no comebacks last season. This is where I though bringing off Mount for Barkley would've paid off, as Barkley would've looked to create something. I'll give Tammy a few more games before we can safely say waiting for him to break his duck will hinder us even more.
  2. We defended much better today compared to against United. Christensen and Zouma did well when our midfield collapsed. Like United, we should of been out of sight before Leicester even got in the game.
  3. Zouma was tremendous. Night and day difference vs his performance against United. MOTM for me. Can you believe there are still people who defend/rate Willian? Never ceases to amaze me. Fit right in with the players that played 120 minutes on Wednesday, even playing on his 'strong side'. Fraud
  4. Can't wait until people accept the reality our team really isn't that good. Should of lost. Plain and simple.
  5. So much more energy than us in this last 20. Like I said, Super Cup was honestly a fucking distraction.
  6. Poor from Lampard to still not address the fact we've lost the midfield since the 20 minute mark.
  7. Blame the opposition for not capitalising
  8. For a bloke that’s averaged 5 league goals a season, that is an incredibly bold statement. Care to explain?
  9. Kovacic better defensively I’d say. Arsenal still look weak defensively.
  10. My point is that there probably is a rational explanation vs the improbable one you proposed
  11. World class striker is needed. World class centre back is needed. Back up left back Upgrade on Willian
  12. After calming down, I think the best thing for Tammy would be continuing to start
  13. Can see them killing us on the counter. Our players will also be knackered. Hoping for a win, but can see a draw.
  14. Why isn’t Batshuayi playing? I want an actual explanation. I go off defending Tammy after the United performance and this is how he repays me. Missing a sitter and a shit penalty. Giroud for Sunday
  15. Worse thing about it is after all that, we will probably be knackered for Sunday and drop points.
  16. Honestly just fuck off. Two games into the season I’ve already had enough. The amount of luck that’s gone against us is utterly ridiculous
  17. From Sané, to CHO, to Peresic. Lol mugs
  18. Mount has an eye for goal as well if he carries those same instincts from the Championship. It's his pressing and energy levels I find more suitable for Lampard's football.
  19. For a guy that was brought up in La Masia, played under Guardiola, and played for Barcelona and Spain during their possession/Tiki Taka era, to have transformed into a player that loses the ball so fucking much, is unbelievable.
  20. Nah bar Henrique, for some weird reason, all rated Mount's performance. Lampard could even prefer him over RLC when he becomes fit.
  21. About 20 minutes into the game, I was loving it. I loved the control. I loved the intensity. I loved the build up and quick transition. I loved the collective pressing. I loved how threatening we were and how well we worked to get the ball back. All of this on display at Old Trafford, a ground we haven't won at in more than half a decade. And yet, the truly sad thing is, I kept thinking to myself, 'I wonder how long we'll keep this up?'. It's been two years since we saw this level of intensity/control and kept it up for the entire 90. Will it be a worldie of a goal we concede? Will it be an individual error? Then after I saw that misplaced pass from Zouma, that's when I knew. We started seeing more individual errors after that, and when Pedro, (in Pedro fashion), kept a hold of the ball for too long and lost it in a dangerous area, our momentum died. It pisses me off how I can't enjoy a game anymore where I can safely think our players will give it their best the entire 90. The amount of individual errors we see is staggering for a top 6 side.
