  1. So Lampard just told Barkley on the side he's 1st choice? Because judging from the reactions of the players, they had fuck all idea. Continue to believe that if it suits you.
  2. Incredibly stubborn and close minded thought process then. As if a manager's word is gospel, let alone in this scenario when we've seen managers defend players since the dawn of time. Let's go with your theory. In training, Lampard must have told his players that Barkley is the first choice penalty taker. Must have been under his breath, because the bloody team captain and our regular penalty taker had zero indication of that.
  3. Ah so when Azpilicueta tried telling Jorginho to take it and the confused looks on the players when they saw Barkley claiming it’s his, definitely looks like a team that knows Barkley is their penalty taker. Don’t be so obtuse.
  4. I remember against Wigan on the final day in the 2010 season. We were leading 1 or 2-0, and we’ve won a penalty. Drogba wanted to take it to win the golden boot, but Lamps refused and even Terry came and said Lamps needs to take it so we can secure the title. Long are the days we had that leadership. Also a bit rich for Lampard to defend Barkley when he knew he’s in the wrong.
  5. There is honestly no excuse for this defeat. Even with injuries we should be winning. Appalling from everyone involved.
  6. One goal was a worldie from Tomori Second goal was a bit of a mess up in the box where Tammy did well to put away Third goal was a bit of great player that allowed Tammy to finish it. Fourth goal was individual brilliance from Tammy Fifth goal was yet again individual brilliance from Mount Only one goal you could say was created out of a team build up. We genuinely look like Conte's final season up top in this 3-4-3. I'm hoping its scraped once everyone is fit.
  7. Barkley and Willian fighting over who should take the penalty was hilarious. As if either of those two have a future here. Wankers. Questions need to be asked as to why Jorginho didn't take it. Embarrassing result. Valencia have been nothing short of relegation quality this season, and we've lost to them at home.
  8. This is a club where for nearly a decade they were under Barca’s thumb. Now that they’ve tasted winning again, they won’t accept being put back into that same position. Just like what we saw last season. Incredibly naive for Hazard to not know what he got himself into
  9. Kepa Azpilicueta---Rudiger---Tomori----Emerson Jorginho Kovacic-----Barkley Willian-------------------Pulisic Giroud
  10. Kepa James---Christensen---Rudiger---Emerson Jorginho (c) Kante-----Ruben CHO-------------------Mount Tammy
  11. Thank goodness no traveling before Liverpool
  12. Mostly accommodates the lack of width we have in options, which was evident against Sheffield and their 5 at the back system. Lampard is learning.
  13. His third today, along with the winner against Norwich, were goals I had no idea he would be capable of producing. Always looked a tap in merchant in the Championship. We still haven't played cup games or Champions league games, and he's already on 7 goals. He could potentially end up the season 20+
  14. Tactical masterclass from Lampard. Nullify Wolves' strengths by playing the same game. This is how we should set up against the likes of Wolves, Shieffield, Bournemouth, and Watford. Teams that play 5 at the back.
  15. Wolves and Leicester not amounting to the pressure of expectations.
  16. So we have to wait 7 years for Kepa not to make these mistakes?
  17. It’s times like this where I start to believe Keva will never be a WC keeper. Too many times we find ourselves saying, he should’ve saved that
  18. Willian in a nutshell. Great in the 2/3 Dreadful in the final third
  19. I think it's to counter Wolves' 5 at the back system. We tend to struggle against sides that play it.
  20. I’d say it’s worth it. 80 million essentially the going price for a top CB now
  21. Jorginho is a holding midfielder. To some extent Kovacic
