  1. Think with everyone fit Lampard would play this. Kepa James---Rudiger---Tomori---Emerson Kante-----Jorginho Mount-------RLC---------CHO Tammy
  2. We are literally talking about a group of players that dominated both the domestic and European scene at youth level, for the past decade. In 10 years time, we could quite possibly look back and say this transfer ban was the greatest thing that ever happened to the club (aside Roman)
  3. There’s no way Phil fucking Jones said that. Was a daft cunt.
  4. Willian for me has always been a 10-7th league table player. His numbers justify that.
  5. Greenwood looks decent but aunited fans are desperately making them out to be better than they are.
  6. There needs to be a presence in the back line. Not sure if Tomori is that player yet. In the early Klopp days, Liverpool conceded loads from set pieces. It was virtually fixed by adding Van Dijk. Ever minute I’ve watched Ruben Dias at Benfica Increases my hope we make a move:
  7. We aren’t getting Mbappe, especially with no CL. Sancho is a possibility. I’d say a top ST, CB, and RW are a must. I’d then look at upgrading on Alonso and shipping off Barkley for a defensive midfielder.
  8. His movement dragged VVD away that allowed Kante to find space for his goal. So it kind of was existent. You’re being too critical. He had Two CB’s in prime form, one being the best on the planet, man marking him without any other support given Willian nor Mount made direct runs that would draw out defenders.
  9. Willy James---Rudiger----Zouma----Alonso Gilmour? Kovacic------Barkley Pulisic-------------------------CHO Bats
  10. Mourinho's point was using it continuously to defend a poor result, which he's right. It's small-time. It comes to a point where when do we stop excusing poor results with 'we performed well, it just wasn't our day', to actually seeing positive signs of improvement? We can forgive Lampard to an extent as there is some progression, particularly with youth, but it's been mentioned quite a few times that it will lose its value quick if these errors we are seeing don't go away.
  11. Maybe from open play, but at set pieces I'm not sure. It isn't just those you mentioned that aren't tightly marking, it's everyone.
  12. I edited by post after you quoted me but having a recognised back 4 may help some issues. Form some sort of chemistry and understanding.
  13. Is it a personnel problem? Sure James' athleticism could've prevented some of the crosses Sheffield put in, but we are conceding goals by marking each other vs the opposition! The day we look organised at defending set pieces, is the day I will genuinely be positive moving forward. Because as of right now, not one player out injured currently can help us. This is on Lampard. That said, I do believe having a recognised back 4 playing week in week out may help 'some' issues. We are sacrificing a lot by taking out Jorginho and putting two players who have no experience in leading a transition from deep.
  14. Ironic but the fact remains he is 110% spot on.
  15. Are you genuinely questioning his leadership by not going face first at an attempt at goal?
  16. Well that may come good in the future, we need to worry about the present. And at the present, our defending is going to cost us anything we might be able to attain this season.
  17. Keep hearing this 'wait till our injured players are back' as if this is going to fix our defensive issues at set pieces. This can only be fixed on a coaching aspect.
  18. They outscored us and the goals we conceded were fundamental mistakes. How on earth can you say this is undeserved?
  19. Arsenal down 10 men for 60 minutes and win. Fantastic
  20. Sorry. It’s well and truly deserved. Especially when we defend set pieces like that.
  21. We are swinging. We are just losing by conceding goals we shouldn't...
