Chelsea https://thedailybriefing.io/i/148526372/Chelsea Djordje Petrović agreed to sign on improved terms at Chelsea ahead of his loan move to Strasbourg. This was part of the plan for Petrović after his opening season in PL, now joining Strasbourg and then his future will be assessed again in June 2025. Chelsea confirm squad for next stage of Conference League. Wesley Fofana, Cole Palmer and also Romeo Lavia have been left out. Decision taken due to load management as Chelsea season could go on until July 2025 with Club’s World Cup too. Chelsea might have a much better chance of landing Victor Osimhen next summer. Fabrizio Romano tells us why. Si Phillips discusses the rapid rise of Cole Palmer and why his Ballon d’Or nomination is testament to his hard work over the past year. Find out which Chelsea talent Fabrizio Romano rates in this exclusive breakdown of the Blues performance in the transfer window. Conor Gallagher: “I don’t think it’s true that I don’t fit Enzo Maresca’s system. I had a good season as you could see by Pochettino playing me every game and showing his trust in me. The fans appreciated what I did on the pitch too.”

Enzo Maresca makes 'fresh decision' over two Chelsea outcasts amid lack of transfer offers https://www.londonworld.com/sport/football/Chelsea/enzo-maresca-makes-fresh-decision-over-two-Chelsea-outcasts-amid-lack-of-transfer-offers-4770048 Enzo Maresca has reportedly softened his stance over two Chelsea players who are likely to struggle for game time. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is said to have changed his mind over two players, at least for now. The Blues boss has taken a ruthless approach to squad management after taking over in the summer having been handed an extremely bloated squad. Maresca has defended himself over criticism of his ruthlessness, maintaining that such decisions have been necessary to established a focused main group. He might be right, too, with the Italian having seen Graham Potter struggle with issues arising from having such a big squad in recent times. A number of senior stars were told the could leave by Maresca ahead of last Friday’s deadline, and Raheem Sterling seemed to be the most controversial case. Sterling has since left to join Arsenal on a loan deal for the rest of the season. A number of other fringe players also left, including Kepa Arrizabalaga, Romelu Lukaku and many more. Two transfer listed players who did not leave are Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei. Chukwuemeka was signed for £20million back in 2022, while Casadei was signed for £12.6 million plus add-ons in the same year. Neither appear to have made the cut, but neither managed to secure moves ahead of last week’s deadline. While Chelsea could still potentially offload the players to either Greece or Türkiye, with those countries’ windows remaining open, The Athletic now report that both players have been removed from the so-called ‘bomb squad’ that was training separately from the first team and welcomed back to team training. The report claims both players will be considered along with their first team teammates from here on out, at least until the January transfer window opens. With Chukwuemeka and Casadei unlikely to feature, they will both likely be looking forward to January already, but they will at least get their chance to impress Maresca. Maresca’s tough stance Maresca has recently said of his so-called bomb squad: “The only thing I can say is the ones who are going to get minutes are the ones who I think can help us. It’s not just Raheem [Sterling]. It’s all the players who are training apart. The moment the transfer window closes, they are not going to get minutes.” Since then, the majority of the bomb squad members have departed with the exception of Chukwuemeka and Casadei, who have rejoined the main squad, and David Dator Fofana, who the club will look to offload before the closure of the Greek and Turkish windows. Maresca will have to name his 25-man Premier League squad next week.

finish cleaning out the deadwood buy these 5 and we are well on a way to big things, really big things, IMHO it just takes time as we will have a very very young team but with Estêvão and Kendry coming in, plus those buys listed above shoring up our defence (along with some we now have out on loan), we will have a massive base to build off of and become a huge threat to any team on the planet

Chelsea chief executive Chris Jurasek steps down after 1 year https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/41132846/Chelsea-chief-executive-chris-jurasek-steps-1-year Chief Executive Chris Jurasek has left Chelsea and will be replaced by Jason Gannon, the Premier League club said on Thursday. Jurasek will return to Clearlake Capital, the co-controlling owners of Chelsea, after just over a year in the role at the club. "I am incredibly proud to have led this historic football club into its next chapter," Jurasek said. "We have accomplished the task of building a team both on and off the pitch that means the club is well-positioned for long-term success." During his time as chief executive, Jurasek made several decisions that were met with disapproval by Chelsea's match-going supporters, including referring to them as customers rather than fans. He also ended a long-standing bus subsidy for away fans and implemented the first general admission season ticket price increases in over a decade.

Chelsea forward posts goodbye message as Liverpool transfer confirmed Liverpool have signed 16-year-old Chelsea forward Rio Ngumoha to bolster their youth ranks https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/Chelsea-forward-posts-goodbye-message-29870613 The Premier League has finally approved Liverpool's signing of Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea. The 16-year-old will join the Reds' under-18s for the 2024-25 season. Liverpool's scouts had tracked the England youth international for some time and in July, began the process of bringing the forward to Anfield. On Thursday, he took to Instagram to officially confirm his departure from Chelsea: "Thank you for everything Chelsea Academy," wrote Ngumoha, who trained with the club's first team earlier this year, before later uploading photos of his scholarship signing at Anfield. As he rejected Chelsea's scholarship offer, the Londoners will be entitled to a compensation fee from Liverpool. It's expected Ngumoha will be blooded into the under-18s setup with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson for the coming campaign before being assessed for a potential call-up to the U21s and Liverpool are delighted at managing to bring the 16-year-old to their thriving Kirkby base. Club scouts have been hugely impressed with the skilful winger during checks and after listening to the enticing pitch laid out by Liverpool, Ngumoha has now moved to Merseyside. It's believed Chelsea are furious with how Ngumoha has been allowed to leave for what will be a nominal fee, although suggestions Liverpool have broken their wage structure to land the winger have been rubbished. It's understood Ngumoha's arrival is in-keeping with existing policies that are strictly set out by long-serving Academy director Alex Inglethorpe and the youngster will be on a scholarship wage at Kirkby. The club's recent track of blooding players from their academy ranks into the first-team is understood to have been key to the decision over the move with the 2024 Carabao Cup final cited as the perfect example of the two contrasting strategies at both clubs. Liverpool won the game at Wembley 1-0 thanks to Virgil van Dijk's extra-time header but finished the match with James McConnell, Bobby Clark and Jayden Danns all on the pitch and they were also able to name Caoimhin Kelleher, Jarell Quansah, Conor Bradley and Harvey Elliott in the team on the day, four players who all sharpened their skills in the youth ranks at Anfield. Liverpool have been keen to pursue the best young talents across the country since the introduction of laws that came off the back of the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union at the end of 2020, which made signings from the continent more difficult.

so to sum it all up and assuming we do not have to ditch Reece (if we do I want Michael Kayode or Wilfried Singo) then here would be my ideal buys: GK Diogo Costa LCB Murillo or Piero Hincapié RCB Tomás Araújo or Cristhian Mosquera LB Miguel Gutiérrez or Patrick Dorgu (as Nuno Mendes very likely is not doable) Double red as Real Madrid may excercise their buy-back option on Miguel Gutierrez CF Jhon Durán
-
Martín Zubimendi is Rodri-lite a super super player so glad Arse did not get him I would take him over Enzo in a heartbeat
-
Winger/AMF I do not want to hear about any, unless we are deffo selling off some and then the ONLY names I will discuss (non youth) all are right footed or ambipedal, NO MORE LEFT-FOOTED wingers and AMFs!!!!! here is every one (very small list) (pass on Nico Williams and his insane salary demands, pass on Gordon, Johan Bakayoko is a lefty, Eberechi Eze will be 27 next summer, so a no go for BlueCo) every one is insanely expensive (£100m plus, likely, except for Simons, although IF Musiala refuses to renew, Bayern will have to sell), I doubt we even bother Florian Wirtz Jamal Musiala Rafael Leão Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Xavi Simons
-
CMF Another really short list I highly doubt any of the big 6 (aka biggest non Real Madrid names) would come here at all, or even move anywhere Nicolò Barella Gavi Pedri Frenkie de Jong Vitinha Warren Zaïre-Emery whichs leaves only a handful of actually available ones I rate Éderson Fermín López (hard AF pull as well) Pablo Barrios Quinten Timber Javi Guerra most of the really good young HG CMF were snapped up this window or last summer Adam Wharton (DMF/CMF combo) Lewis Miley Matt O'Riley Alex Scott Archie Gray plus the best young Swedish CMF Lucas Bergvall
-
'maestro' type 4 of the 5 non youths are that especially the first 2 and Wharton could develop into that as well I listed no 'destroyers' DMF is not a sceaming need for us, unlike GK, CF, and CB
-
DMF very short list these are the only ones who interest me and who are remotely available Bruno Guimarães Martín Zubimendi (shocked that Arse failed to pull him) Morten Hjulmand Alan Varela Adam Wharton youth Gabriel Moscardo
-
CF I am pretty sure BlueCo tries agaon for Victor Osimhen I would rather go for Jhon Durán here are the best (IMHO) of the rest of the options Alexander Isak Dušan Vlahović Viktor Gyökeres Loïs Openda Benjamin Sesko Evan Ferguson Jonathan David (will likely be on a free, with a shedload of big clubs trying for him) João Pedro Santiago Gimenez youth Eli Junior Kroupi
-
I deffo think he was worth the risk at that low price and I am not normally a speculative-buy (talking about non youth and non 30+yo vet for backup and locker room steadiness specualtive buys) fangirl

IF Filip Jørgensen doe not come good and IF Costa goes elsewhere (a good possibilty, as Citeh, PSG (not happy with Donnarumma), Bayern, Barca, Inter, etc, will all be ,looking for Gkers more than likely) then we are in real trouble until (and IF) Penders can become our number 1 Kobel is poor (like Donnarumma) with his feet Guillaume Restes would probably be the next best option, but he is also (like Penders) only a teen, granted already starting ina Big 5 league so many other good keepers went elsewhere this window, and/or will not move
