Robert Lewandowski 'wanted by Manchester United as part of swap deal to take Anthony Martial to Bayern Munich' United are keen on Pole and have been willing to let the former Monaco striker leave - but only to a European club SHARE https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/robert-lewandowski-wanted-manchester-united-13021033 Manchester United are reported to be lining up Polish star Robert Lewandowski in a shock swap deal for Anthony Martial. Relations between Jose Mourinho and the French forward have become even more strained this week after he left the Red Devils' US tour to be at the birth of his second child. United have been willing to let the former Monaco striker leave even before he left the States - but only to a European club. Mourinho does not want the frontman to come back and haunt him in the Premier League with interest from Tottenham and Chelsea rebuffed. snip

Willian: Chelsea midfielder asks lawyers to act on 'forged' letter https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45047044 Chelsea midfielder Willian says he has instructed his lawyers to act after a "forged" document was circulated on the "football market". The letter appears to show the 29-year-old's signature authorising a change of agent to represent him. However, Willian claimed he "never signed the letter" in an Instagram post on Thursday. Willian has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer. In the post, Willian said he had been made aware of a document that "has been circulated through the football market". "I would like to clarify that I never signed such letter, the content of which I completely deny," he added. And he alleged there was "clear evidence that my signature has been forged, or anyway misused", which had prompted him to instruct his lawyers "to proceed with all appropriate legal measures before any competent courts or authorities". The midfielder, who has spent five years at Chelsea, was due to report to pre-season training with the Blues last Friday, after representing Brazil at the World Cup in Russia, but he failed to arrive. New manager Maurizio Sarri says he is not happy about the "strange" situation, and he will seek immediate talks with Willian.

I played girls footie when I was really young, but hit a massive growth spurt (20cm in a year and half) when i was 13, 14, and my knee ligaments stretched out too much to keep it up (I could have went back about 12 months later, but I am too scrawny, lol, 183cm, 55kgs (give or take one or 2, depending on if I am on a run/swim/squash day or an ale and eat like a pig day, lol)

jesus fucking christ are we inept compared to other top 10 clubs Atletico loan Sime Vrsaljko to Inter Milan (with option to buy), sign Santiago Arias from PSV http://www.espn.com/soccer/atletico-madrid/story/3580367/atletico-loan-sime-vrsaljko-to-inter-milan-sign-santiago-arias-from-psv-eindhoven https://www.serpentsofmadonnina.com/2018/8/1/17640630/problem-solved-inter-milan-officially-sign-sime-vrsaljko-atletico-madrid-serie-a Inter get Vrsaljko, who is MILES better than Zappacosta, and arguably better for Sarriball than Azpi (he is a bomber at overlapping runs and still has the lungs to still be a beast on defence, although I deffo rate Azpi better at defence) for only £21m (he is double the value of Zappacosta in terms of quality) Atetico Madrid, at same time, sign a really good replacement in Arias for only around £9m! Arias was 3 in a row Eredivisie champ, and player of the year once Transfermarkt (which you can usually double or so their mid level valuations, had him at 18m euros, so should have went for close to 25-30m quid both are only 26, born 3 days apart (lol, just like me and my wife) in fact they are like only 40ish days apart from us in age

Moses £25m Drinkwater £30m £55m total (If we are lucky!) Palace want insane £90m for Zaha even if they come down to £80 there is no way Granny stumps up £25m with three RWers on the books so now you are into another sale (and we all now probably Willian isnt going anywhere, or they would have bitten Barca's hand off for that £65m, UNLESS we do that goddamn Martial swap, which the cunts SHOULD BE PUTTING ALL EFFORT INTO)

Comment: Substance over style the driver as Sarri’s Chelsea project is given its showcase in Dublin clash https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/premier-league/chelsea/comment-substance-over-style-the-driver-as-sarris-chelsea-project-is-given-its-showcase-in-dublin-clash-37177328.html Irish fans were last night afforded an early glimpse into the approach new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will adopt in the coming season. It seems the question is whether the Premier League will be ready for him, rather than the other way around. Best known for the expansive style he demanded and implemented during his three years in charge of hometown club Napoli, he also emphasised the importance of set-pieces. Just five minutes into last night's friendly at the Aviva Stadium against Arsenal - coming 10 days before his first competitive game in English football - the 59-year-old's reliance on dead-ball deliveries was on show for all to admire. snip

Rafa Benitez launches stunning tirade at transfer business after 4-0 pre-season loss to Braga https://www.foxsports.com.au/football/premier-league/rafa-benitez-launches-stunning-tirade-at-transfer-business-after-40-preseason-loss-to-braga/news-story/f31e43eb59059cf0f8ed90b53704d159 RAFA Benitez has launched an extraordinary rant at club chiefs after watching his side crash to a 4-0 horror defeat against Braga. The Spaniard didn’t hold back over Newcastle’s failure to deliver in the transfer window and admitted the club is a shambles off the pitch. Goals from Ricardo Horta, Joao Novais, Fransergio and Dyego Sousa ensured Benitez returned to the North East in a foul mood as he prepares to face Tottenham at home on August 11. After the contest, the frustrated boss fumed: “Things are not going well off the pitch.” snip

backed off https://www.teamtalk.com/news/bayern-offer-update-on-pavard-and-man-utd-man-city-target Stuttgart has pledged to keep Pavard for at least one more year and Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has dismissed reports his club are keen on the 22-year-old. He told Bild: “Could Benjamin Pavard replace Boateng in Bayern? No. “We have Hummels, Sule, Martinez who can play in central defence, Alaba and two young players, Lukas Mai and Chris Richards. There are many qualities.” But Rummenigge said Bayern would mull over any “serious offers” for Germany defender Boateng, who has been linked with PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City. also https://www.besoccer.com/new/rummenigge-shrugs-off-bayern-interest-in-pavard-477411

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri 'not happy' over Willian situation Sarri hopes to keep 'top players' at Chelsea for new season http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/11457015/chelsea-boss-maurizio-sarri-not-happy-over-willian-situation Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted he is not happy after Willian failed to return to training on time after the World Cup. Sky Sports News understands Chelsea have rejected several bids from Barcelona for the player this summer and the Brazilian did not report to Cobham on time last week with several newspapers reporting that he was experiencing passport problems. The club gave him prior permission to return late, but new manager Sarri, speaking after a penalty-shoot-out defeat to Arsenal in the International Champions Cup, was clearly frustrated by the issue. "I want to speak to him before I answer these questions," he said when asked if Willian had returned to training on Wednesday. "I don't know. I am not happy about the situation but I would like to talk to him. "Is it strange? I think so." snip

We have known about this since probably January. Courtois has been hugely open about leaving for Madrid. And it isnt like any of the available keeprs are going to explode up to Courtois level in one year. furthermore, there are GK's NOW who are near WC level Strakosha is almost there, and we could loan Lazio Courtois for the remainder of contract so they have a year find a replacement. Donnarumma is also near that leavel (just below Courtois by 6,8 places. NONE of the top 5, 7 keepers are going to be available NEXT year either, and really good ones , GOOD options to replace Courtois, have been snatched up THIS period. The same available now are all we are looking at next year, just even more expensive than now. There just is not any Courtois level players to buy at all. not now, not next year. Strakosha and Donnarumma are the closest we will get, even next year.and I wager they go up in value another 10, 15m in value, so combine with the 35m loss we take on Courtois, thats £50m in PURE wasted money. plus another £50 to 60m we will spend on top just to buy one. If Lazio will not sell Strakosha, even with a loan of Courtois, we should bite the bullet, sell him to Real (I now really they are just going to wait TBH, and get him for free next year) and buy Alphonse Areola (as PSG still need to balance books) Butland and Pickford are OUTRAGEOUSLY over priced (£75m for PICKFORD!!) FUCK THAT Our board has really really really fucked the pooch all round on this one (we are the worst run team in the world in terms of losing TOP TOP TOP players over last 4 years for SHIT MONEY) We also panic buy terrible overpriced donkeys. I see no other top 10 clubs with such a poor record for this.If you do, please name it. Its madness, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Costa, Salah, Courtois, maybe even Hazard next summer (when he has only one year left IF he fails to re-sign)
