No one that I know of ever wanted that. I certainly did not.

I dont want to have RLC and Barkely in at same rime in MF. Just want to see what Kovacic and Jorginho and Barkley can do together.

Alexander Lukashenko is the last of the old skool Warsaw Pact style dictators, even though he dates from 1994. He, conversely, also has not so much love for Putin lately, he is a strange cat.
-
He often plays a straight striker role aka CF, as well as secondary striker

I think their DH DMF targets will come fromm this list Ruben Neves Wolves They are demanding £100m plus for him. Only Shitty would drop that much IMHO. Pep wants him badly. He is by far the best scorer out of all the top DH DMF's as well, and can play anywhere in MF. Frenkie de Jong Ajax Can play anywhere in MF, and also plays at CB, and even has had runouts at fullback. Bidding war for him will be crazy. Would love to have him, especially if we lose Kovacic. Julian Weigl Dortmund (Shitty on him too) Has been up and down a bit, but so young and huge potential Stanislav Lobotka (23yo Slovakian) from Celta Vigo often plays in a kind of Jorginho role too, and Spurs and PSG are also all over him, Spuds has a £31m bid turned down at the window's end this summer. Rodri Atletico Madrid AM just bought him, he is seen as the new Busquets. Pep loves him, but super hard to prise away from AM Leandro Paredes from Zenit (Roma had to sell him and Rudiger to meet FFP) Sandro Tonali 18yo Italian being hyped as next Pirlo, Sarri wants him bad bad bad Arne Maier Hertha Berlin 19yo wunderkind, 2nd best teenager DMF after Tonali IMHO, some would argue better, but I think Tonali is just perfect for the DH DMF role. Maier may end up a Kroos type which is also amazing. add-on: Marco Verratti can play that role as well but would be over £100m I think Pep is also looking (at other MF positions) SMS Lazio Adrien Rabiot PSG Kai Havertz Bayer Leverkusen Giovani Lo Celso on loan to Real Betis from PSG Rodrigo Bentancur from Juve. Piotr Zielinski Poison Dwarves Tanguy Ndombélé Lyon Donny van de Beek Ajax

I am saying that any time Shitty play another of the other top 4 teams, a draw is best, but those other teams winning is the worst I did not say, at all, that Manure is the most likely to pip us, I said they are the most likely to crash out therefore them winning v shitty is a move that prevents in aiding this
-
LOLOLOLOL Firminho not a striker? I draw the line here, this is some divvy shit.
-
What about the Community Shield? Does this not count?
-
Worst possible outcome would be Manure to beat Shitty. Draw is probably ideal outcome, but the odds of Manure nipping us out of a top 4 place are are much higher than us beating Shitty for the title. If we do not get CL (whether thru top 4 finish or from winning EL this year) we are FUCKED. Eden will 100% leave and we will have a massively hard time recruiting top talent with no CL to offer. At this point I am thinking strategically. Will hope for the same when Shitty plays Victimpool, Arse, and spuds as well. Obviously will hope for draws when those other 4 play each other, UNLESS one really crashes out to point they are no threat to us (would be Manure I think), then I would want the crashed out team to beat any of the other 4.

Cavani is most likely the best stop-gap option, I have posited him multiple times, and he has a huge issue at PSG where Neymar and Mbappe are freezing him out. Suarez is on verge of renewing with Barca, so I doubt we have a shot. Edin Dzeko would be probably number two option here, as Lewandowski will be (even at 30) still £80m to £100m (Bayern are crazy hard to deal with) Batshuayi surely is worth one last go next pre-season, to decide once and for all if he will ever fit in here. My other out of the box options were : 1 Anthony Modeste (30yo), currently in China, but a monster 2 seasons ago at Köln, with 25 league goals and for the year 34 in 43 all comps games. They got instantly relegated as soon as he left. 2 Crazytown option : Zlatan, as he can still score like a madman, even at 37 I just get a feeling we make no moves, the board seems paralysed, even to sell, and I think they (and Sarri to a point) still rate Morata. Certainly they really, really rate Willian and Luiz as well. I don't see us doing much in January. Hopefully I am wrong. I do wish, we at least snap up Sandro Tonali from Serie B Brescia for the future. He is probably getting called up (at 18yo) for the Italian national first team this coming international break. I think he is Sarri's number one obsession (IMHO rightly so, AFTER Kai Havertz,, who is the only one better (different postion, AMF, though) IF we are talking under 20yo MFers) Joao Felix of Benfica (AMF) and Ryan Gravenberch of Ajax (only 16yo, lolol) would be the other potentially great teen MF'ers out there atm.

Ten years of demographic analysis of the football players’ labour market in Europe CIES Football Observatory Monthly Report n°39 - November 2018 http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/mr/mr39/en/ 1. Introduction The long-term work carried out within the CIES Football Observatory focuses, in particular, on the demographic analysis of the football players’ labour market. It is with pride that we are able to provide an overview of the principle changes observed over the past decade. The study covers three areas: training (club-trained players), migration (expatriate footballers) and mobility (players having changed team during the year). The sample is made up of teams having participated in 31 top division leagues of UEFA member associations between 2009 and 2018. To be included, a player had to be present on the 1st of October in the first team squad of the clubs analysed. Moreover, he must have already played in domestic league games during the current season or, this being not the case, to have played matches in adult championships during each of the two preceding seasons (B-teams not included). The second and third goalkeepers have been taken into account in all cases. 2. Training In accordance with the UEFA definition, club-trained players are those having spent at least three seasons between 15 and 21 years of age in the employer team. The proportion of this category of footballers has never been as low as on the 1st of October 2018: 16.9% (-6.3% in ten years). The decrease observed during the last year has been the greatest ever recorded (-1.6%). The average annual drop has increased from 0.37% between 2009 and 2013 to 1.02% between 2014 and 2018. A decrease was observed all over the continent. Northern and Central Europe remain the zones with the highest proportion of club-trained footballers. However, a sharp decline was also observed since 2009: -8.8% and -8.4% respectively. In all areas, the values measured in 2018 are the lowest ever recorded. Southern Europe has the lowest overall value (12.8%). snip

I rated him, I watched a lot of his games at Monaco (a couple live as my father has a flat there in La Condamine and he has season tickets). By far my worst recco ever. Literally. Hopefully he comes good enough that we get fair pay when we sell. Only thing I can say in my defence is that I REALLY REALLLLLY wanted Bernardo Silva far more than Baka off the team. Mbappe first (obviously) the Bernardo, then Lemar, then Baka, then Mendy. Figures we end up with the only shit one out of the lot, lolol
-
Shitty are clearly the best team in the world atm they just CRUSHED Shakhtar Donetsk 6 nil could have been 10 they literally have no weaknesses unless Fernandinho gets injured, and even then it wouldnt truly fuck them up and I am sure they buy a DH DMF either in January of the summer only thing that can stop them is this cheating enquiry
-
lol, Mourinho started crazy shit after the game ended, taunting the crowd he is such a fucking bellend
-
oh, absolutely
-

Those 2 are the only sub 30 guaranteed upgrades who are remotely available nothing has changed (well Martial is not leaving Manure now) I can accept even Willian and Luiz for another year or two, but if (more like when) Morata crashes back down to reality those 2 are the only real options who are available (and both will be HARD AS FUCK to get) IF we are serious about winning trophies all other CF's are 30 somethings or are speculative or not attainable

I am choosing to fully support Álvaro. Hope he keeps this pace up!!

Kylian Mbappé Contract Leak Reveals Staggering Demands for Private Jet & More https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/mbappe-contract-demands/ As one of the best young footballers on the planet, we kinda assumed Kylian Mbappé’s contract at French giant PSG would be worth a lot of money. Today, the German news magazine Der Spiegel reported leaked details of the Frenchman’s earnings and contract demands — and the numbers involved are mind-boggling. Mbappé initially joined PSG from AS Monaco on a loan deal in August 2017, which was made permanent earlier this year for a reported fee of €180 million. He has since gone on to cement himself as one of the game’s upcoming superstars, and capped a memorable World Cup win with France in the summer by winning the tournament’s best young player award. Mbappé famously operates without an agent, instead leaving his father, Wilfrid, to do his negotiating. After receiving documents from the whistleblower platform Football Leaks, Der Spiegel reviewed the information related to Mbappe’s contract with a network of journalists at the European Investigations Collaboration (EIC). The article states that Mbappé asked for a contract worth €55 million that would see him become one of the world’s best-paid players. He demanded a €5 million signing bonus and a €50 million salary for the duration of the five-year contract, which the report says PSG accepted. It then goes on to detail demands from Mbappé’s camp that PSG refused to meet. These include: Mbappé reportedly wanted a clause inserted into his deal that would see him automatically become the club’s highest-paid player, even eclipsing Neymar, if he were to win the Ballon d’Or. Mbappé’s father, Wlifrid, reportedly requested permission to attend PSG training sessions Mbappé reportedly wanted the use of a private jet for 50 hours per year. PSG compromised, instead offering stead €30,000 euros per month to fund Mbappé’s personal staff, which includes a butler, a chauffeur and a bodyguard. Mbappé’s family wanted assurances that they would be financially compensated should PSG be banned from the Champions League for breaching FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines. Prior to signing with PSG, the article also reports that Real Madrid had agreed a €180 million transfer with Monaco for Mbappé’s services, but that his father halted the move because he was uncertain his son would be guaranteed game time.
