This game cried out for Barkley starting, and CHO and Fabregas coming in. Pedro was out, I think, but hell yes,him too OR even Moses (would have like to see what he could do at RW), plus Ampadu or AC in for Luiz (both would have ended up playing as Rudi got hurt) Emerson too, in for an obviously tired Alonso. Shameful player management in last 2 games. I call it how I see it, not afraid to sound like a bitch, lol.

None of those have happened yet, thank dog. No issue with Giroud signing a one year deal, BUT Luiz and Willian need to be fucking SOLD ASAP. Worthless and will fuck us up, to be absolutely blunt (and correct)

Chelsea midfielder smashes Premier League record against West Ham

In Sarriball Jorginho completely sets the attacking tone though. -
I think almost zero chance Dybala would be sold for less than £140m, more likely £150m. Remember this post, IF/when Juve sell and Real or Barca or Shitty or Manure (or even US!!, smdh as it won't happen with our current ownership/board issues) buy him I have been following both icardi and Dybala from Sampdoria and Palermo days, respectively. We should have bought both ages ago. I looooooooooooove them both, and always had a dream they play on same team.

Higuain is hardly setting the world on fire, one of his 2 goals so far was against F91 Dudelange (a LUXEMBOURG LEAGUE team) and the other against a shit Cagliari side (who do have one player who is great, CMF Nicolò Barella, 21yo who is a really good option (although not my preferred at all) IF we lose Kovacic.
-
Also, Higuain did NOT want to leave Italy, and he wanted no part of ultra fast pace EPL footie, where his lack of pace would get lit up like a Primark sale light.
-
Lolol. You must not watch much Serie A. Icardi is miles beyond Higs at this point. And we are a far better providing team than Inter. Higuain is too old and on the decline AND we got pwned by Juve/Milan. Juve wanted Bonucci back and Higs off their books. AC Milan wanted a striker AND Caldara. They both used us like a rag. Morata to Milan being the victim.

Too bad many were fairly poor or meaningless in terms of contruction of buildup. -
talk to the board, icardi was there on a platter for only £98m from July 1 to July 15, 2018. Subtract out £55m or so from a Morata sale, there is the number one pure 9 in the world on the team for only 43m quid or so, net spend
-
Kova was tired and had a slight knock before game, our strikers got SHIT service, i cannot really blame either Luiz played oki, so not tossing him under bus at all Eden had a horrid game, but shit happens, we need to overcome this, we certainly have the talent Our MF, other than Barkley was shit today, and inSarriball, MFis so so key Willian was HORRID, worst player on pitch he is NOT a good fit AT ALL for Sarriball (unlike Pedro) also, Azpi was terribly disappointing offensively (this is a real concern with me overall, but he IS capable) Staggered he didn't use (or even try) his Morata linking via crossing normal SOP, they usually hook up quite well almost no crosses of any worth same for Alonso
-
because he isn't good enough, we were insane to not take Barca's £65m for him and at least bought Malcom (they only paid £37m for him) or better yet, Bailey (do not care if he would have cost £70m to ram it through, that's only £5m more net spend, and I think £65m would have done the deal)
-
I agree, BUT here is the huge problem Sarriball doesn't use a DMF destroyer role at all, the other 2 MF'ers (Jorginho si the DMF deep holding player, think Busquets style at Barca) BOTH need to play advanced roles Kante is a victim of the system I got SMASHED for saying this before, but he just seems a fish outta water in his new role, for the most part We have committed to the new system 1000000000000% I do not know where that leaves Kante He may become £125m luxury player who is force-fitted into a role that doesn't suit him at all Like I said 100 times before, we have a CRAZILY complicated team situ from every angle (ownership/political nightmares, stadium crashout meaning huge revenue drop future-forward, upcoming FIFA loan changes, Brexit rule rewrite on foreign players, deadwood, poor starters at key positions, critical positions, etc)
-
I would have MUCH preferred a complete swap out team draw/loss v PAOK (it was AWAY as well) and this game a pikey face-smash blowout. We could have easily overcome a PAOK draw or loss away and moved on in the EL. 2 points in EPL are PRECIOUS given the state of our competitors.
-
Full stop disagree mate, he was horrid today, sorry, and I am one of his biggest FANS, in fact, I almost changed out favourite player from AC to Jorgi, as AC is getting the Luiz/Conte treatment (almost)
-
I picked Kepa as MOTM, as at least we kept a clean sheet and he had a decent game, a few crucial saves. Barkley 2nd (would have easily been MOTM IF his shot had gone in) Someone picked JORGINHO NO CLUE what game they just watched!! LOL Easily his worst showing since joining.
-
Extraordinarily poor player/bench/sub management by Sarri, and it has set us up for big trouble dead ahead. had nothing to do with Luiz even, lolol. Our MF is burnt out already, Alonso looked gassed. NO CLUE why Cesc wasn't used, same for Barkley (should have started) Hell, I would have not minded giving Moses a go at RW (as Pedro was out) Moses ALWAYS brings energy at least, Willian was shit, is shit, will be shit Jorginho should have been rested, and put Kante back at his normal (old) DMF destroyer role Play wide ball, feeding Giroud with 20 crosses This game is the PERFECT example of all my rantings about transfers, sales, and bench decisions (add in starting issues too, today) I do NOT type for my health, I have clear foresight on this shit
-
Lipstick on a pig, at least we didn't lose (we should have, Yarmolenko so fucked up a sitter)
-
Rudiger, until injured, Kepa, and then Barkley cameo were only remotely oki performances, all the rest (Cahill I will admit made no mistakes) were VERY POOR.
-
blääääääääääääääääääääääää if we play like this versus LPool, we are soo soo soo fucked
-
Not the point. Options should have been there. I see no point to Cahill even being on the bench, as, like you said, he is gone soon. A minor quibble hopefully though compared to rest.
-
I gotta say, this has been (all round) Sarri's first poor game so far, he got bench, starters, tactics all wrong, sorry, I call it like I see it
-
we are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky with that miss
-
Why the fuck was AC not on the bench? OR Amps. FFS!!
-
Dog help us, Cahill and Luiz as our CB's, SMDH
