  1. He is 31yo, so no multiyear contract, he wont come. Who we need to go after at AC Milan (due to their FFP woes) is ROMAGNOLI Bakayoko + Cesc + £10m for him Juve will try and sell Higs for £50m to us, they can fuck right off
  2. 3 reasons why he might playing time money London (and yank exposure) I want Nicolas Pepe anyway
  3. bloody hell, now Jesus is back in the goals at least this hurts Victimpool's chances
  4. They want Neymar (LW so no Eden needed) and Icardi, but it looks grim for all with Icardi Icardi's wife & agent Wanda Nara drops big contract hint as Real Madrid hopes fade https://www.goal.com/en/news/icardis-wife-agent-wanda-nara-drops-big-contract-hint-as/ydmrtx9gzx5915yaqe00ddfk3

  6. I think any shot of that happening has unfortunately had its ship sail. Ed Woodward will never sell us Martial. Here is a Manure-related wild card: What do you think of Memphis as our CF? He plays it often for Lyon. I think he might be a monster in Sarriball.
  7. I think we end up getting nothing, and Hazard leaves on a free in 2020. Is one year of Eden REALLY worth £100m plus his wages? HELL NO. They won't even swap Isco. Probably not even Kovacic. I would just wait and tell Eden that they will pay him an extra £100,000 PW above anything we offer or so starting in 2020. Its madness to pay 100m quid PLUS another 100m or so in salary (over 5 years) for a soon to be 28yo, when you can pay half that in a year. Maybe Kovacic they say 'Fuck it, we toss him for a prime extra year of Eden.' That will also put kiss of death on Mateo, as your basic punter will just look at him as the player we swapped for Eden fucking Hazard (they wont cut slack about 1 year left on contract). Best hope is Eden shocks us all and renews. I doubt it happens. Our board is SHIT, SHIT I say!
  8. Barkley really needs to start scoring. He is our true X factor. Alonso too, as we are always going to trot him out. Pedro also needs to hit in some more, and finally Hazard needs ro pull out of his mini-slump.
  9. Chelsea aim to buy British in bid to comply with Premier League rules as six homegrown players could leave https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6497807/Chelsea-aim-buy-British-bid-comply-Premier-League-rules.html Chelsea are desperately seeking homegrown talent amid fears they will struggle to comply with quota rules next season. The futures of Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas, Danny Drinkwater, Andreas Christensen, Victor Moses and Rob Green are all uncertain under Maurizio Sarri. All six are seen as homegrown by the Premier League, with Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek making up the eight UK-schooled players who top-flight regulations require clubs to have in their squad. And the potential exodus of a host of those six homegrown stars is causing concern at Stamford Bridge, leading the club to focus their attentions on the British market during the next two windows. Chelsea will also look to promote a number of their leading academy products at the start of next season to help ease the strain that any outgoing homegrown talent puts on their ability to meet regulations. Fikayo Tomori, who is 21 next week — meaning he will be classed as a homegrown player next season — has impressed on loan at Derby. Drinkwater, Moses and Christensen are out of favour under Sarri and are keen to leave the Bridge. snip I assume this means these might be targets (NOT saying these are all good buys, just listing all the top HG's who would be remotely available) Please feel free to add in any I missed GK Angus Gunn GK Nick Pope CB Nathan Aké (via buyback clause) CB Declan Rice CB Reece Oxford CB Fikayo Tomori (maybe promoted to our main squad, I see huge upside here) LB Ryan Sessegnon (he would certainly be an upgrade, but will cost a bloody fortune) LB Ben Chilwell (insane valuation, £50m (and will go up higher IMHO) and Shitty might pay that! In his defence, he is better IMHO than Luke Shaw and looked great for England) LB Luke Shaw (meh!) RB Reece James (promoted to our main squad, has star potential from what I see) RB Aaron Wan-Bissaka (super pacey, an interesting player, shame he is not a LB) CMF Aaron Ramsey (zero clue where he ends up, I think outside the UK) CMF Lewis Cook (if we HAD to buy an English MF, we should have purchased him over Drinkwater, but a no for me, plus he blew his knee out badly last week, is done for the year, which is a huge blow for Bournemouth) CMF Morgan Gibbs-White AMF Mason Mount (promoted to main squad, so hope he comes good in a huge way) AMF James Maddison (I actually rate him a bit, looks dangerous every time I see him, NOT saying he is Chels level yet) AMF Jack Grealish LW Jadon Sancho ( he would be a terror) LW Ollie Watkins RW Wilfried Zaha RW Reiss Nelson CF Marcus Rashford (they would never sell to us) CF Romelu Lukaku (he is actually homegrown, but hell NO) CF Callum Wilson (bad knees and a meh) CF Dominic Calvert-Lewin CF Tammy Abraham
  10. Shame that Collymore is a woman beater from way back. Ulrika Jonsson (a fellow Swede), Paris, 1998, and others. I agree with his tweet, but he is a bad messenger. Zero respect for him. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2001/apr/16/newsstory.sport It was at Aston Villa in 1999, after a £7m transfer, that Collymore first announced he was depressed. His career at Liverpool had fizzled out. At Villa, it never really took off. In June 1998 he was involved in a shocking public assault on his then celebrity girlfriend, Ulrika Jonsson. He punched her in the face in a public bar. What made it worse was that it came a couple of months after Ulrika had cheered after Collymore had been cleared in court of assaulting the mother of his child. There were other stories. The papers dragged up the time he was cleared of assaulting two men in Cannock. The tabloids claimed he was a serial abuser. Collymore apologised straight after the incident, said it was unforgivable. In every interview he has given since then he has apologised. He also claims that, despite the allegations, he has never hit another woman. One of the most disturbing stories reported an alleged attack on his girlfriend, Estelle, in which he allegedly knocked her unconscious after finding her chatting to another man in their flat.
  11. Havertz is 98% going to Bayern, as I posted in General Transfer Talk. He turned down Barca. He will walk in a starter there I predict, so a great move for him.
  12. TOTALLY! I so so so want him for our RW. He has true beast potential, and is strong and can stand up to EPL pounding. Arsenal want him BAD! So fucked if they grab him.
  13. at least they look like they have failed with Kai Havertz, and it is easy to see why, as Bayern will have NO true AMF's when James goes back to Real Madrid this coming summer (end of loan) Barcelona Suffer Setback in Pursuit of Kai Havertz as Midfielder Eyes Bayern Munich Move https://www.90min.com/posts/6247404-barcelona-suffer-setback-in-pursuit-of-kai-havertz-as-midfielder-eyes-bayern-munich-move Barcelona have reportedly given up in their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz due to the player having his heart set on a move to Bayern Munich. Havertz has attracted much attention so far this season after scoring seven goals in 20 appearances for Leverkusen, earning himself a pair of Germany caps earlier in the process. Barca and Bayern were thought to be the frontrunners for the 19-year-old's signature, with the club holding 'maximum' interest in his signature, but German outlet Bild have reported (via Mundo Deportivo) that the Catalan giants have learned that the player has no desire to play for them. Instead, it's thought that the player wants to stay in the Bundesliga, and sees Bayern as his future destination. His seven goals in all competitions have already eclipsed the four he managed in the entire of last season, as he's been an increasingly crucial part of the Leverkusen starting XI. Having topped their Europa League group after a 5-1 win over AEK Larnaca on the final day, they sit 11th in the Bundesliga, some way short of where they would expect to be at this point. snip
  14. He is a CMF, a box to box type, he is not an AMF, he doesn't score many goals. Very similar to Kovacic, but with more upside. Tonali is a DH DMF, classic regista, same as Jorginho, but is far more physical. Tonali is called the new the new Pirlo, but he prefers to be compared with Gennaro Gattuso, as Tonali is more aggressive defensively, very physical (NOW you know why I want him so bad! He wouldn't get bullied as much as Jorginho does, and I think they could even play together if need be, although that is not ideal atm) Not that this would happen (for so many reasons) but a Sarri Chelsea MF 3, 4, 5 years from now of DH DMF Tonali (18yo now) Box to Box CMF Barella (21yo now) AMF Kai Havertz (19yo now) would be crazy good
  15. The rich get richer (maybe) looks like Barca will get BOTH de Ligt and de Jong Ajax midfielder De Jong really close to joining Barcelona next summer https://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/ajax-midfielder-de-jong-really-close-to-joining-barcelona-next-summer-7201229 A moment arrived in which Barcelona saw their hopes of signing Frenkie de Jong in serious danger. His agent met with several teams, and PSG, Manchetser City and Bayern Munich made huge offers. For the club, the midfielder was a strategic signing and there were movements made to influence the player, who has always expressed a desire to move to Camp Nou. At the current moment, optimisim has returned. Barça see the signing as on track for the summer. De Jong is convinced that his next step must be to Camp Nou to keep progressing. It's no secret that Barça have been speaking with De Jong for a year. His style convinced the previous regime (headed by Robert Fernandez) and the current one (Eric Abidal). In summer they tried to sign him. Ajax rejected an offer of 50 million euros. Barça wanted to tie him down in case Ivan Rakitic accepted an offer from PSG, which he ended up rejecting. But Ajax rejected all attempts to sign De Jong, preferring to keep him for another year, as well as defender De Ligt, with the objective of going far in the Champions League and winning the Dutch league. They were clear the two youngsters would be key in Europe. And they have been. De Jong had caught the attention because there's no young midfielder like him on the market. In addition, Ajax tend to be a selling club. Many clubs have called at their door, but the real danger came from the omnipresent PSG and City. De Jong listened to them but had doubts, especially with the English side. He likes Pep Guardiola's project but he could not see himself in the Premier League. PSG's is huge, but the Dutch international prioritises sporting aspects. And his big dream is Barça. snip Transfer news: €140m Ajax duo waiting for Barcelona despite Bayern, City interest https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/transfer-news-e140m-ajax-duo-waiting-for-barcelona-despite-bayer-12714 Mathijs de Ligt and Frenkie De Jong are one of the hottest names on the transfer market. The two players are the primary objectives of Barcelona but are also on the radar of the majority of top clubs around Europe like Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich. However, the desire of both players seems to be to play together at the Camp Nou. Neither De Jong nor De Ligt have yet made a decision about their future. They do not want to rush are not in a hurry to choose their destination, but both are waiting for Barcelona, a club they prioritize ahead of the other suitors. Both know that their way of playing would fit perfectly in the team and especially De Jong believes that Barca is the ideal team to develop their game. Both players are waiting for Barcelona to make an offer for them to Ajax and have already stated that they would like to continue playing together. The obstacle, however, is the economic one. Teams such as Manchester City, PSG or Bayern are financially very strong, though PSG and City have the 'spectre' of Financial Fair Play over them. snip
  16. Magic Box is a superb judge of talent, so yes, I rate Barella pretty damn high. Juve, Barca, PSG, Shitty, Real, Bayern dont get interested in scrubs. I just am worried about where he slots in for us. He clearly is made for the position Kante plays now. I DO trust Sarri's eye too, he was right about Vecino when I slated him hard. Probably is right about Rugani too (that I am not so sure on). I also think Sarri is dead spot on about Sandro Tonali.
  17. Solari is a shit manager. Does Isco look fat to you? He also had a bloody appendectomy 2 and a half months ago. Lolol Its all typical Real press and shit fan bullshit. He would be a destroyer at AMF for us!
  18. Imagine Alessandro Del Piero circa 1996-98 (right before his knee blew) in Sarriball!
  19. Wilson won't be sold by Bournemouth despite Chelsea talk https://www.goal.com/en/news/wilson-wont-be-sold-by-bournemouth-despite-chelsea-talk/n1t63ykodxrb17xlxid8q5lv9 With eight goals in 15 Premier League matches, the Bournemouth striker has been linked with a more away from the Vitality Stadium Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has warned off any potential admirers of Callum Wilson, by stating he will not be sold when the transfer market opens again next month. The striker has enjoyed a prolific season, with only three players (Mohamed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Harry Kane) netting more league goals than the Bournemouth man in 2018-19. Unsurprisingly, the 26-year-old has been linked with a move to a host of other clubs, including Chelsea. However, speaking in his press conference ahead of Saturday’s game against Wolves, Howe said he has no plans to sell any players next month. “Yes, we are (confident),” the Cherries boss responded when asked whether he believed he could kept hold of Wilson. “At this stage we are just focusing on the matches, we have got so many games to come around the Christmas period, I am sure Callum is the same, he is focusing on his football. “We are certainly not anticipating losing players in January that we don’t want to.” Wilson missed Bournemouth’s last game - a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool - due to a hamstring injury, and although Howe hopes he is available for the trip to Molineux, the Cherries boss has stated that he will not rush his striker back too quickly. “[He makes] a huge difference. You need your best players fit and available, and Callum has had an excellent season to this point,” Howe said. snip
  20. £44.7million to trigger the release clause Chelsea keen on beating Man Utd chief Ed Woodward to type of player he 'likes to sign' CHELSEA are keen on battling Manchester United to sign Porto defender Eder Militao. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1058946/Chelsea-Manchester-United-Ed-Woodward-Eder-Militao According to transfer expert Duncan Castles, the 20-year-old Brazilian is just the kind of player Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward 'likes to sign'. That's because he is young, tipped for a bright future and whose value will rise. Jose Mourinho has proposed a move for the youngster, who can play at right-back and centre-back, but Chelsea are keen on him too. Castles told the Transfer Window podcast: "One of the alternative options that Mourinho has proposed is Eder Militao at FC Porto, who is a young Brazilian centre-back, more of the profit that Woodward likes to sign - i.e. players who are developing their game and young and he sees that their value on the transfer books will remain high for many years at the club. "It’s an interesting parallel with Diogo Dalot, who they got in the summer. Now he’s got over his initial injury problems, he’s showing his ability as an attacking full-back. "But I think you can also see he’s quite raw from a defensive point of view. His positioning against Arsenal, he was often getting caught out of position and having to rescue himself with his pace, that he was able to do. "But Militao has a release clause of 50m euros (£45million) at Porto, which is probably negotiable down depending on interest from other clubs. Chelsea I’m told are also keen on him." However, Express Sport understands Mourinho is on a collision course with his United bosses over the club's lack of transfer action. snip He costs about half of what de Ligt will probably go for, less than half (by far) what the Poison Dwarf wants for Koulibaly (£135m! he is on dwarf crack) I prefer Milan Skriniar Lucas Hernández ( 2 for one as he benches Alonso at LB instantly and is also a superb CB) Dayot Upamecano Benjamin Pavard (another 2 for 1, as he is also a great RB) Alessio Romagnoli José Giménez Rúben Dias Thilo Kehrer Manuel Akanji then Eder Militao I do rate him over Rugani Caldara Jonathan Tah Nikola Milenkovic (maybe) Ibrahima Konaté (atm) Malang Sarr Panagiotis Retsos Dan-Axel Zagadou Jules Koundé I also highly recco a 18yo (turns 19 on December 30th) Jean-Clair Todibo from Toulouse I think he is a potential superstar https://www.goal.com/en/news/who-is-french-wonderkid-jean-clair-todibo-from-car-crash/vy6mlhupu3yj1qua9ew9wcxnk
  21. We should offer Bats plus £25m for Pulisic. Bats is a proven goal scorer in Dortmund's ping pong ball offence.
  22. Cavani has been my 'old boy' pick for striker for last 2 years. He is still world class. Barca, Real, Juve, etc all are supposedly sniffing around him as well, Lots of competition. Anthony Modeste is now involved is a bad legal dispute with Tianjin Quanjian and his old club, Köln. He bailed on the Chinese team in August and now has re-signed on a free at Köln (who were relgated without him last year). Tianjin Quanjian looks like they (until they win in court, if they do) got fucked out of £31m transfer fee. What a mess. He is only 30 and I know could be a beast in the EPL. 25 Bundesliga goals in 34 games in 2016-17 (34 goals in 45 games overall in 2016-17) https://www.goal.com/en/news/modeste-facing-legal-fight-over-cologne-contract-dispute/19m6znxe1qhu81nvn4sg5y77ow Surely we could use some leverage ie. offer to pay off (and thus settle the case) Tianjin Quanjian a portion of the money they spent and therefore get him here on the cheap. Köln should get nothing as it really looks like they fucked the Chinese over. That's one for the lawyers to sort.
  23. I do not understand how we are linked to 30yo plus players like Mertens, Cavani, Higuain, Edin Dzeko, Bonucci etc, when we do not give multiyear contracts to players in their 30's.Would all of those agree to just a one year contract?
