I said Pepe was not worth 72m quid the last time this came up. Almost the entire time I have been pushing him him it was working off a £40 to 45m valuation. Watch Pulisic go for around that. Maybe 50m max. I don't think he is coming here. I rate Victimpool his favourite destination.

Those 2 draw v Everton (Home nil nil grr) and West Ham, and arguably the Home 2 2 to Manure did my head in too. Take away Manure, add in Wolves and Leicester and that is 10 dropped, easily winnable points.

If you had 2 dozen eggs and 8 were rotten, one could say many are rotten, lolol. Same percentage. I NEVER said he should be putting up 20 goals and 20 assists a year! Strawman. His numbers are REALLY weak though, especially goals. 5 a year, in over 40 games a year, is not acceptable. And it is far from just Mbappe who puts up bigger numbers as teens. Sancho his teammate (and reason he is on the bench) for instance. Havertz, in the same league. Reiss Nelson, same league yoinger, tracking to 15 goals at Hoffenheim, on lian from Arse. Matheus Cunha, same league, is halfway (just this half season) to Pulisics career totals, in only 23 games. Ismaïla Sarr, same age, tracking to 18 goals and 14 assists. Patrick Cutrone, granted CF and secondary striker, but same age, has 25 goals in last season and a half, and is not a full time starter. Dembele himself of course. Other than Sancho and Dembele, none of those players had or have near the talent surrounding Pulisic either. I have watched him play a lot. I think he is overrated. He certainly isnt worth £70m, unless you take marketing into account. Not when you compare what that can buy you instead. I guess we will all find out soon. Probably at Liverpool, btw, not CFC. And not until next season. I dont see Dortmund selling in January unless it is a player plus cash deal. Maybe they try and beat Bayern to CHO. I am not afraid to say pass.

Really well-written article. They are the best run club in the world. Potential Lucas Hernández Transfer Highlights Bayern's New Transfer Strategy https://www.forbes.com/sites/manuelveth/2018/12/22/lucas-hernandez-transfer-bayern/#69b03e97165d Players they are going after (and will probably get all or most) It makes me cry becuase so many of these are some of my top targets. CB/LB Lucas Hernández Atletico Madrid CB/RB Benjamin Pavard Stuttgart (and for only 35m euros (£31.7m) it sounds like!) AMF Kai Havertz Bayer Leverkusen CF Timo Werner RB Leipzig LW Callum Hodson-Odoi grrrrrr, if we lose him, I dont know what to say They just bought Alphonso Davies, an 18yo LW from an MLS team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, who is a potential star, so maybe that makes CHO less likely

I dont see this at all, he barely scores. 15 goals in 115 games, only 10 of them league goals, and many of his assists (he had ONE decent year there, and that was with Abameyang scoring 40 goals, plus Dembele, etc running riot) have come against weak CL qualifying and DB Pokal sides. It is cray cray to think he is worth £70m (or 60m).

Stats show this as well. Remember he is on a pinball offence scoring machine at Dortmund and has had great scorers around him to crank up his assists 15 total goals in 115 games (the first chart was last updated 2 weeks ago) 24 assists in 115 games, BUT 13 of those came 2 years ago and only 8 of those were league, he piled up assists against weak CL qualifiers and DB Pokal teams He also had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (40 goals) and Ousmane Dembélé, Marco Reus, Götze, etc running riot If he wasn't American, he would be getting little hype at all

Roflmaooo on multiple levels....... (pro tip, Kante isn't even being played at DMF now) 'He's as good as N'Golo Kante... there's no argument about it' - pundit makes bold claim CHELSEA midfielder N’Golo Kante has competition to be the best defensive midfielder in the league. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1064256/Chelsea-news-Kante-Fernandinho-injury-Manchester-City That is according to former Premier League winger Michael Gray, who believes Manchester City’s Fernandinho is just as good as the Frenchman. Kante was integral to Leicester’s incredible 2015/16 title-winning campaign, reshaping the expectancies of a holding midfielder with his phenomenal engine and precise timing in tackles and interceptions. His superb year earned him a summer switch to Chelsea, where the deceptive destroyer claimed his second league title in consecutive seasons. “Look, [Fernandinho is] one of the best,” Gray told talkSPORT. “I put him alongside Kante. I know Kante’s had a lot of plaudits over the last couple of seasons - and rightly so, he’s a phenomenal player in that position. “Fernandinho is as good as him. That’s how highly I rate him. He is, there’s no argument about it.” The pundit then went on to critique City’s deep squad, which he believes is only falling short in the defensive midfield role. snip

The ones who do not do good were always overrated IMHO. If you are a great player, you are going to play well in almost any situ. I have really low patience on hope. It is why I have been barking to get get rid of Alonso, Morata, Willian, etc since before the summer started. They are/were disasters waiting to happen. People have far too much hope they will come good. I HATE status quo, hate normalcy bias. I warned on Shitty, look at what is happening now, EXACTLY in the areas I specified. I dont have coaching badges, I have never been officially involved with a club, but I am trained to a very high degree on how to analyse things. It is like breathing for me.

Chelsea transfer news: Eden Hazard asks pals about life at Real Madrid CHELSEA midfielder Mateo Kovacic says Eden Hazard is asking him questions about Real Madrid. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1063754/Chelsea-transfer-news-Eden-Hazard-Mateo-Kovacic-Real-Madrid

Hazard tempers recent excitement regarding his Chelsea future He’s as hard to pin down off the pitch as he is to tackle on it https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2018/12/28/18158366/hazard-tempers-recent-excitement-regarding-his-chelsea-future At the end of the great mid-90s action movie Speed (the one with the iconic and hilarious bus jump) Sandra Bullock turns to Keanu Reeves and warns him that “relationships based on intense experiences never work”. But it’s a Hollywood ending and it works. (At least until Speed 2: Cruise Control, which is the Mourinho Season of Speed movies.) The Hollywood ending for Chelsea and Hazard is making us wait for it a bit longer however. After the intense experience of a match-winning brace against Watford made him the tenth player in club history to reach 100 (and 101!) goals, Eden Hazard declared his desire to become a Chelsea legend and cement the relationship 6.5 years in the making. But if Hazard is to reach the status of Lampard, Terry, or Drogba, he’s going to have to sign his new contract first and not leave us for Real Madrid. And so his declaration was taken as intent, or at least a hint, of his true plans. After months and months of waffling and winking at Madrid, he was finally giving us the star treatment. Alas. In the cold light of day, the reality remains that he’s not going to make a decision until the end of the season. snip

I will try and find it.

I answered you on that Daddy UJ. Lolol

Eden's wavering is unbalancing the team mentally.

I agree on that reasoning. I wish we could hypnotise Ola Aina and turn him left-footed, so he could bench Alonso too. Bollocks to anyone that says he isnt ready! Every game I see him play he is close to best player on the pitch and Serie A is no joke. That CR7 shut-down did it for me. Also, all I hear about Reece James. So we have two potentially WC RB's. I so wished we played youth more. It would pay off massively in the long run.
-
I cannot figure us out for shit. Every game is a crap shoot. That Leicester game just gutted me. Those fucking sitters missed! Same for Wolves. Finally that wondergoal from Sturridge. The spuds game was brutal to take, but we were simply outclassed.
-
I wouldn't mind that but Tammy so far seems a Championship flat track bully (hopefully changes!), and he is a youth player, meaning Sarri won't play him. Only really young player I have ever seen Sarri get genuinely excited over is Sandro Tonali, who we absolutely need to buy and scupper Juve's dreams.
-
All four of those are bad options. I have never been Higs fan but he is worth a punt on a 6 month loan. That said, he is in a massive slump as well. We should have signed Icardi in July and put this whole thing to bed for years. Our board is shit.

What a depressing article, from every angle, including those targets. It does contain great explanation about why Hazard is not suited to central role like Mertens. “Dries is more of a striker than me,” said Hazard. “I am more like a playmaker. Since I started football I like to come, touch the ball. Dries is not like this, he just wants to stay in the box. That’s why he scores a lot of goals. We are different, but yeah I know with Sarri he likes to change some positions sometimes.” Only way Sarri runs a false nine next game is if his front 3 is LW Willian RW RLC False 9 Eden I expect Morata to get the start though, over Giroud, if he is fully fit With RW Willian and LW Eden Kovacic is injured (I think) so Barkley over RLC I will guess We already know what the back 4 will be, sigh
-
I just hope we back him with the right players and hold onto Eden (or replace him with one of the only 3 LW'ers remotely close to him, Mbappe, Neymar or, more realistically, Dembele, none of which will happen, unfortunately, The only other LW'ers even worth mentioning are Sane, and he is literally impossible due to being in EPL already with a major rival, and Asensio, who I am not at all sold on). Sancho needs a few more years to see if he gets to that level, and bloody Shitty have a right of first refusal on him, so we are blocked anyway. Massive hit coming inbound if we lose Hazard. This January, and especially this summer are make or break windows.
-
Ahhhhh, oki!! I understand what you meant now, lol You mean the Higs of Napoli '36 league goals' form oh hell yes! Then I also agree with your top 4 guarantee lets hope for a miracle!!

Gonzalo Higuain asks to join Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea https://metro.co.uk/2018/12/28/gonzalo-higuain-asks-join-maurizio-sarri-chelsea-8288002/ Maurizio Sarri is a step closer to reuniting with Gonzalo Higuain as the Argentine striker has agreed to join Chelsea, according to reports in Italy. Sarri wants Chelsea to sign a new forward in the January transfer window and Higuain is top of his shortlist. The pair thrived together during their time at Napoli with Higuain setting a Serie A record by scoring 36 goals in the 2015/16 campaign. Sarri was unhappy with Higuain’s decision to join Juventus after that record-breaking campaign but the Chelsea boss remains fond of the 31-year-old and described him as a ‘wonderful player’ and a ‘wonderful man’ last week. Higuain is currently on loan at AC Milan from Juventus but the Argentine is struggling to find his best form with just two goals in his last 10 appearances. snip also he hasn't scored since October no goals in Milan's last 12 games, 1 in their last 15 He has not scored 2 in his last ten appearances, the article is wrong, his only goal since October 7th was

If we get Higs from Napoli we must have a time machine. He left there 2 and a half years ago., lolol
