  1. Must be nice to have a striker who can shoot, lolol
  2. This buy is not so much about football I fear as it is marketing. I surely hope I have to eat my words.
  3. I rated Sane. Big. Wasn't here then. I go into great detail on players in other leagues I fancy, many of them very young. I dont rate Traore. Sorry. If he is the level of player we are chasing I might as well be a Watford punter.
  4. Traore has ONE goal all year. If thatis improving I would hate to see his before. He isn't even a regular starter on Wolves.
  5. It is pure bullshit. Let's call a spade a spade. He is helping steer the car off the road.
  6. The point is to get fair value back and not massively regress after he leaves. Great teams reload, they don't rebuild.
  7. IF Sancho keeps up his pace he is on for a year or too more, I would be shocked if Pep did not change his mind. Big if, but still. 15 to 20 goals a year and 20 assists per year has a way of changing minds, lol. We shall see, I would love to have him if he keeps up that pace for next 2 years. Lots a water to flow under the dam before this happens. Thanks for the link, btw. Sancho did the right move, he would be warming the bench at Shitty right now. I will not hold it against CHO if he bails after Sarri refusing to play him. Giant clubs are playing teenagers, its how they keep them. Look at Real and Vinícius Júnior (also 18yo) Not a shit tonne of games, but far more than CHO is getting Moises Kean as a 17yo at Juve Moussa Diaby as 19 yo at PSG
  8. He has never gotten over 5 goals in a year. 15 in 115 games for his whole senior career.
  9. Link please for that 'Pep says never coming back'
  10. Because Dortmund have a great chance at winning both the Bundesliga and the CL, and they will not lose depth until they can replace it in the summer. Why do you think the price dropped £25m? If we want him now its £70m. That isnt happening. The board and Sarri love the team as is, save for striker. The board valued Willian at £70m! Sarri thinks he and Alonso are amongst best on planet at their positions Pulisic is really being bought because they know Eden is leaving. We will get Kovacic and 60m, £70m cashfor Eden in the summer. RM will look at that as paying £110m to £12m for him in value plus quid. Luiz is leaving. Rugani will cost arounf £45m I think we make a move for Tonali, say £25m there is all the Eden cash spent so now we have spent 45m net (Pulisic) I dont see the board spending much more than another £30m to £40m max that will be Callum Wilson perhaps Higs goes back we are left with a shit team Willian on LW Pulisic, no great scorer on right Wilson at CF Same MF Same shit LB too Rugani in for Luiz If we want more, we then HAVE to sell the deadweight will we? I hope so, becuase if what I put in above is our August 2019 team we are FUCKED
  11. Shitty have right of first refusal on Sancho, he will not come here, Shitty will buy him back. Martial, now that Mourinho is gone, will not be leaving. Best we can hoe for is that we do indeed have a clause in Thorgns contract, and can stop him from going to Dortmund or Bayern.
  12. Before this false nine stuff. I also said to try Barkley there (at CF AND RW).
  13. I suggested it weeks (also months?) ago and got smacked down.
  14. Pulisic is being pitched as a Hazard replacement on some sites. Ridiculous. He has never scored more than 5 goals in a full season, including two two full 40 games plus years on a massive scoring team that runs a pinball offence. 115 games, 15 goals in his career and he is not even a LW'er (although he should be as he is right-footed.). Willian on the LW, Pulisic on the right spells doom to me, when all is taken into account. That is what we are facing if Eden leaves. Real isnt going to swap us Asensio and Kovacic for a player with 12 months left on his contract. That is folly. Higuain may (AC Milan officially said we have not contacted tem at all) come for a 6 month loan, but he will turn 32yo in middle of next season, so he will not be offered a multi-year contract. He will not be here 2019-20 unless he accepts a one term contract, or we take him on a multi-year loan, which I doubt he accepts (in terms of 1 year contract) or Juve accept a multi-year loan (which I doubt they will accept as well). Who does that leave for our striker to pair with Willian and Pulisic? Callum Wilson? LOLOL Unless it is an Icardi level type number nine (and how many of those are floating around???), where are the goals going to come from? Manure is hot on the tails of Isco, so if they drop big cash for him, there goes another swap option with Real. That leaves only 4 true goal scoring AMF's left, 1. Rolling dice on Nabil Fekir and his knees, 2. Pablo Sarabia of Sevilla (a good choice but I see ZERO linkage with us), 3. Julian Draxler of PSG (who isnt really THAT proflic, but is a decent player) and 4. Hakim Ziyech (Ajax) who is prolific in a lower league, but far from certain in the EPL. We are linked with none of those, other than Fekir, so we damn well better snag him (if we refuse the others) and hope he comes good in the EPL and stays healthy. We can talk all we want about Sarriball being this offensive machine, but if we lose Eden, end up with only Pulisic as 'replacement', buy a middling striker like Wilson, and miss out on a WC AMF, the goals are simply not going to be there. It is shaping up as a huge (and predicted) problem. Transfer news: boost for Madrid as Chelsea reach agreement with Hazard replacement https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/transfer-news-boost-for-madrid-as-chelsea-reach-agreement-with-h-15887
  15. It makes sense for them. Their AMF's are shit, plus it sticks the dagger in our backs over the Eden deal, forcing an all-cash or a Kovacic plus cash deal, and takes one of the few available great AMF's off the market. RM will never toss us Varane or Kroos, they have no strikers we would want, and I doubt they would give up Asensio. Asensio btw, has ONE league goal all year, 4 in total (3 were in two games versus a horrid 3rd division team, UD Melilla) in 25 games. I am sure they are banking on James (who comes back from Loan at Bayern Munich) to replace Isco. We should demand Kovacic, LW Vinícius Júnior (12 goals produced (6 goals, 6 assists) in only 777 minutes as an 18yo, with a MASSIVE upside) and RB Álvaro Odriozola or even better, RB Achraf Hakimi (who has been a beast at Borussia Dortmund, again with a MASSIVE upside). Will we? Hell no. I see us getting Kovacic plus £60 or £70m at best for Eden in the summer. If we play stall-ball, RM will just sign him on a free in 17 months, or a charity offer of £30m to £45m or so a year from now. With Havertz, Talisca, and Isco off the board, WC or near WC AMF's who actually score a lot and are remotely available are really thin: Nabil Fekir Pablo Sarabia (my choice) Julian Draxler (can play LW too) Hakim Ziyech (Ajax) and 2 who are oki, but have not taken off like I thought they would Pablo Fornals (Villarreal) Carlos Soler (Valencia) finally the one we missed out on Aleksandr Golovin thats it, only 4 really solid ones
  16. Assuming Kovacic is out injured too GK Kepa CB Rudiger CB Luiz LB Emerson RB Azpi DH DMF Jorginho B to B MFKante AMF Barkley LW Willian RW RLC False 9 Hazard or LW Hazard RW RLC CF Morata (if he is fit) I would start him over the cart horse Giroud and thus RLC instead of Barkley at AMF we all know Willian and Alonso will worm their way into any Sarri lineup though this is getting boring and tedious with those 2 trotted out every game the pressure on Eden is immense
  17. Also, he played on the right, until the very last couple of minutes before he went off injured. He is much more effective on the left wing.
  18. I think he can tear shit up still in Serie A. It's more his speed and style.
  19. I could see Eden on LW, Thorgan on right, but dont think its in the cards. I think RM is where Eden ends up. I would take Thorgan in a flash over Willian at either wing. I really have no clue how we stack up next year. Far too many uncertainties atm. Like I always say, we have by far the most complicated situation atm in global football of any major club. I hate it.
  20. Dieter Hecking, their manager loves to play a 4 3 3 attacking similar to Sarri Tobias Strobl is his Jorginho and he has a similar situation to Kante in Denis Zakaria, who is an absolute 1.91m BEAST of a DMF, but has adapted to the Kante role
  21. 10 games at LW, 9 games at RW 7 goals, 3 assists at LW 5 goals, 4 asissts at RW Ibrahima Traoré , their main RW, has been injured twice, and their other main RWer, Patrick Herrmann, has been in poor form, so maybe that is why he has played at RW a lot they are loaded everywhere else, winger is by far their weak point, especially if Hazard isn't playing
  22. They are both LWers, although Thorgan has played at RW some this year, to really good results
