  1. Chelsea’s official Twitter account mercilessly trolled over transfer tweet https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/02/27/chelsea-twitter-account-trolled-over-transfers/ Whoever’s running Chelsea’s official Twitter account seems to have forgotten the club are most likely going to be slapped with a transfer ban this summer. The Blues have been punished over their recruitment of some young players, though BBC Sporthave reported they are set to contest the decision, potentially buying them some time and an opportunity to sign players this summer. Still, it looks a bit silly for Chelsea to be promoting transfer rumours and gossip involving their club at a time when it still remains to be seen if they will actually be making any this summer. Here’s a collection of some tweets doing the rounds trolling Chelsea’s Twitter account for this rather embarrassing oversight, with their social media work almost as error-prone as their defending was at the Etihad Stadium recently…
  2. Rudiger 100% Luiz is gone probably this summer.
  3. Bayern already has a massive overload at LW, especially if CHO signs.
  4. Matt Law's Chelsea briefing Just as you thought Sarri's reign couldn't get any more bizarre... By Matt Law Football News Correspondent Sarri hasn't done himself any favours (credit: David Klein/Reuters) It is not just Chelsea’s on-pitch problems and mutinous players and fans that have pushed Maurizio Sarri to the brink of being sacked. Sarri has found himself undermined by supporters who chanted “f--- Sarri-ball”and Kepa Arrizabalaga’s refusal to be substituted in the Carabao Cup final penalty shootout defeat to Manchester City. But there is also a sense that Sarri has not helped himself in the way he has responded to different situations and the image he has portrayed. There was the very obvious public criticism of his players, following the defeat to Arsenal, but there have been other issues that have not been well received. Having completed his media duties after the 1-0 Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley, Sarri returned to the television cameras with a computer. With surprised reporters ready to pack up, Sarri opened the laptop to show them video replays Chelsea had watched that he believed suggested VAR had got it wrong to allow Harry Kane’s penalty to stand despite appeals for offside in the build-up. Sarri may have thought he had a point, but taking the video analyst’s laptop to the cameras was not seen as befitting for a top-class coach and gave the impression he was grasping at a conspiracy theory. The 60-year-old’s eagerness to return to the television cameras after the Spurs defeat in January was in many ways ironic, given he has otherwise refused to engage with Sky Television and BT Sport apart from where absolutely necessary. Whereas a number of managers will give Sky and BT one-on-one access as part of their rights package, Sarri has largely only spoken to the broadcasters in open pre or post-match press conferences. That has caused issues for Chelsea staff, who have had to placate frustrated producers by putting players up in front of television cameras to talk, particularly as Sarri has taken time to speak to Sky Italia. It was during an interview with the broadcaster from his home country that Sarri joked he would be happy to hear from owner Roman Abramovich because the Chelsea owner is never in touch. The comment created a number of headlines, both in Italy and in England, and Sarri was later forced to try to explain it away. Sarri blundered in front of the English press when he claimed not to know anything about the signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, leading to questions regarding the club’s approach to the transfer market. And he also name-checked director Marina Granovskaia on several occasions during the January transfer window to make it clear who was in charge of incomings and outgoings amid supporter frustration. While many of his rivals have fine-tuned their public personas, Sarri has not been as slick. Chewing cigarette butts on the touchline and smoking while watching training is not a look appreciated by everybody. And that rough-around-the-edges image was never more in evidence than at Wembley, when Sarri could not hide his rage when Kepa refused to be replaced by Willy Caballero. Many inside Wembley felt sorry for Sarri as his instructions were ignored, but, as the dust settled, there was a view that he had made the situation worse with his handling of it in front of the watching world. And just as it seemed Sarri’s reign could not get any more bizarre, he joked with an Italian journalist at the end of the pre-match press conference that he had said “condone” and not “condom” when discussing Kepa’s antics. Sarri left the room chuckling, but one senses Abramovich has not found the seven months of Sarri’s reign quite so amusing.

  6. Chelsea’s Spanish contingent of Cesar Azpilicueta, Pedro and Marcos Alonso are all backing Arrizabalaga over Sarri. https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/three-chelsea-players-who-backed-kepa-arrizabalaga-vs-maurizio-sarri/
  7. Chlsea fans are not spoilt. That is bollocks. What we are is sick of self-inflicted wounds from every angle. Why the fuck would we want to go back to the shit club of the 70's, 80's and 90's? It would be like telling the people living in Shoreditch to slum out because some billionaire Russian says so and bunch of old jelly fools want to see a vibrant neighbourhood revert back to a shithole of their youth so they can feel good via schadenfreude. Ownership on down are the bad guys in this all. Marina has been a DISASTER at her job, yet is untouchable, still in absolute puppet-power. The board have rule-broken us into a 2 window transfer ban, yet are safe n sound in their jobs because...SIBNEFT Sarri got what he deserved from Kepa. 2/3rs of a year of horrific personnel decisions. Playing clearly SHIT players over others, to points it has cost us dearly overall in terms of potential exits and also standings. Why the fuck would Sarri demand to take off a clearly superior player for a scrub. Caballero is shit. Only thing I regret is that is wasn't Emerson refusing to come off for Alonso. It isnt player power, it is common sense.
  8. Other than his pen he played great
  9. Truly have to laugh at people who call critics of Roman and his puppet SIBNEFT board 'plastic' fans. We had zero to do with multiyear rule breaking over underage players that now will earn us a 2 window ban on transfers (unless overturned, which looks unlikely) We never put into place a ridiculous loan army that gives instant cover to incredibly poor footballing buys, and when loan limits come into play, will cause us to have to sell off damn near 40 players at market-saturated sell prices, as we have not bee future-forward thinking winding the scheme down. We have been calling for well over year for a proper DoF, whilst Roman keeps in place his inept puppet Marina, who has compounded problems by renewing absolute dregs like Alonso and getting led around like a dog on a leash by numerous clubs we attempt to buy players from (hello Italy!). We never refused to back truly WC managers like Conte and Ancelotti. We didn't make our wealth off the corrupt privatisation of Russian state assets for pennies on the pound, turning us instantly into oligarchs and then backing a dictatorial tyrant, thus, down the road, (and plainly predictable for anyone with a comprehensive love term view of global power politics) putting the club into a perilous position as the anti-Putin geo-political theatre inevitably plays itself out. That shit was a GIVEN it would bow up someday, and well, now the chickens are coming home to roost. But what do we know, we are just plastic fans.
  10. yep we played fucking great pens are a crapshoot we got FUCKED by that offside shit call onward to spuds
  11. I HAVE YOUR BACK MANA outrageous and shit attacks on you
  12. IMHO that is suicidal to the cub as potential WC contender
  13. Yoi should back Kepa. He is a VASTLY superior GK to Willie, and was dit enough to continue. Sarri made it drama, not him.
  14. Lol at plastic btw. A plastic settles for whatever the club tosses out. I refuse to let you re-define refusal to call out systemic massive issues as plastic.
  15. No fucking place blame where blame is DUE the board is Roman puppets the board has made insane bad moves for YEARS all the current shit can be traced to this so YOU are the one who can sod off, excuse maker
  16. Septuple on still for Shitty thanks Roman, you fucking CUNT
  17. If it is the beginning the end for Kepa say hello to bottom half of the EPL
