  1. Oki so ZZ back at RM this has a domino effect on many of the top clubs and managers (not all of these have to do with ZZ, but some for us, if Sarri is indeed sacked) Diego Simeone at Atlético Madrid (not that he would EVER or EVER will coach at RM) will he finally leave? would LOVE to have him here, he was always been my first choice. IF AM finally win the CL this year, maybe he does finally go? Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte. I admit I thought he would end up at RM and Conte would take over for him at Juve. After Simeone, Allegri is my second choice for us, but I doubt we go for anther Italian Jose Mourinho no clue where he ends up Mauricio Pochettino Does he leave and to where? Man U? I thnk Manure makes OGS perm. Juve (if Allegri leaves) is out, as Conte will go. there He will never come here, I would be shocked and dismayed if he did. IF Simeone leaves AM I see either Poch or Allegri there. That leaves Simeone open for us, but he may go to PSG. Paris Saint-Germain , do they keep Thomas Tuchel, now that ZZ is off the table? Poch, Simeone or Allegri or Didier Deschamps would be front runners. For us, all above stated I would rate (in order) Diego Simenone Massimiliano Allegri Joachim Löw Luis Enrique Abel Ferreira (Braga) The next Mourinho maybe? Brilliant 40yo, he has Braga in 3rd place in Liga NOS, within 5 points of the top, only twice in history has a non Big 3 won Liga in Portugal, Belenenses in 1945–46 and Boavista in 2000–01) Didier Deschamps (hard pull, I am sure he wants to do back to back WC's) Marcelino (Valencia) Pablo Machin (Sevilla) Jose Bordalas (has done absolute wonders at Getafe, who sit 4th currently in La Liga) Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate) true shame we missed out on Julian Nagelsmann (was my number one choice after Conte got sacked, now he ismoving to RB Leipzig this summer) and Leonardo Jardim (back at Monaco) PLAYER TO COACH PLANTING THE SEED Braga manager Abel Ferreira speaks exclusively to The Coaches' Voice I tell you this: there is no perfect formula. No perfect game plan. Only the one that you believe in. You might prefer mine, or Guardiola’s, or Diego Simeone’s. The important thing is being able to explain what you want to the players. That’s what it is to be a good coach. https://www.coachesvoice.com/abel-ferreira-on-braga-challenge-primeira-liga/
  2. Dodi Lukebakio had a poor game Haller came on late and scored a brace. He has 19 goals and 12 assists now. Jovic has 21 goals, 7 assists in 800 less minutes nil 3 FT Frankfurt were playing with 4 starters (until Haller came on) Evan N'Dicka (one of my top young CBäs) was rested same for LB Jetro Willems and finally Ante Rebic, a great LW/second striker/AMF (starred in WC for Croatia, burnt Caballero with that howler) who is still injured
  3. IF we win the deferral appeal and get a summer 2019 window, he is one of my top winger options, superb young player, only actual available RW (and Chiesa can play either wing) I would take over him would be Nicolas Pépé of LOSC Lille
  4. Shitty in the Community Shield is the only one
  5. After Drinkwater Alonso Cahill Zappacosta he is next most useless (Marco van Ginkel doesn't count as only his terrible injury kept him from being sold to PSV last summer, which should happen this summer, hopefully)
  6. straight swap, Wan-Bissaka for James (they will never do that atm) done and dusted (I can hear the screams now, lol) I am a huge Reece fan btw, but Wan-Bissaka is the best young defensive fullback I have seen in many a year even better, offer them Azpi for Wan-Bissaka THAT would make me do a happy dance AWB has potentially Kante-level game disruptive qualities insane pace, and is a ball magnet 2nd leading tackler in all Europe atm
  7. If we break our no multiyear contracts for 30yo plus players for Willian and Luiz the blowback over the coming years will be disastrous
  8. Dodi Lukebakio for Fortuna Düsseldorf (on loan from Watford) is REALLY worth watching. on a pace where he would score 25 to 30 goals and have 12 or 13 assist over a full season's total minutes has 12 goals and 5 assists in only 1500 minutes can play both wings and CF

  10. We are going to CAS to try and get the non-deferral (not the actual bans, that has to wait until FIFA Appeal Committee rules, which can take up to 6 months) overturned, and thus get a summer 2019 transfer window in before the 1 year, 2 window bans hit.
  11. The bans will not be overturned I fear, but we DO need CAS to overturn the non-deferral (whilst the appeal of the actual bans is heard, which can take up to 6 months) by the FIFA Board of Appeal that is the biggest issue atm IF the deferral is not overturned, then we have a huge decision to make Do we sell Eden, Willian and CHO this summer (and not be able to replace them until summer 2020) OR do we hold onto all or some and let them walk on frees in summer 2020? Willian will sign a new contract, BUT he wants a 3 or 4 year extension, which means until he is 34 or 35yo, which is ridiculous. If he wont sign a 1 year extension, we need to sell him this summer, ban or no ban. CHO needs to be told that his main competition at LW (Eden and Willian) is gone this summer or next and he needs to renew. If he refuses, then we have to decide if we sell or let him walk on a free in 2020. Eden will now (with Zidane back at RM) NEVER renew, and we probably need to take the £100m or so (if we are lucky) and sell him, regardless of whether the deferral is gained or not. Obviously, if we win a deferral, all 3 need to sold thsi summer and replaced, unless Willian and Eden leaving changes CHO's mind (I SO SO hope it does).
  12. Only one. Seeing the matchday lineup from the CFC official twitter with Alonso as a starter.
  13. never underestimate the power we have to fuck anything up
  14. and Azpi made an absolute shambles of the cover and especially the block
  15. I do not think we can recall Morata if AM and he do not agree, as they also have option to buy in summer 2020, when the 18 month loan ends
  16. I think a lot of our horrific decisions have come from Arkadiy whispering in daddy's ear and then daddy pulling the board puppet strings Also, in 2003 Roman would have had no idea that in 2019 he would be a globally sanctioned/targeted figure over Putin and have had his net wealth drop from around a 22bn to 25bn high to around 8bn or 9bn, and have been chased out of the UK, and would have pulled the plug on a new stadium
  17. IF we do get the summer 2019 window and dont do fuckall it will destroy the club for years we will lose (if we dont sell them) Hazard, Willian, CHO on frees in 2020 and will not be able to replace them until probably summer 2021 (maybe can pay insane overcharge in january 2021 window and buy one replacement) also, we will be stuck with all the dregs and shit players we have until then too, IF we dont upgrade this summer can you imagine basically the same players we have now MINUS Willian, Eden, and CHO, minus Luiz, minus Higs with only real adds being Reece James (Mount is NOT ready, its delusional to think this, he has one goal in last 6 months, none this year, and is bullied to hell, and I am NOT sold on Tomori either atm) and recalls of Baka, Zouma, Bats? Thats what we will be looking at come summer 2020 IF we do not do INSANE business in 2019 summer if we get it this would yield a 25 man team of (IF we even recall the ex first teamers) Kepa Willie Bulka Rudiger AC Zouma (if we recall) Ampadu Tomori (maybe) Alonso (30yo by then) Emerson Azpi (31yo) Reece James Jorginho (with no true backup) Kante Drinkwater (31yo) Bakayoko (if we recall) RLC Barkley Pedro (33yo) Kenedy Pulisic Charly Musonda (or some other loan army dregs) OR use RLC here as backup winger and call up Mount for AMF backup Bats (if we recall) Tammy Giroud (34yo) DISASTER
  18. I don't trust CAS for shit but the deferral appeal should pass muster I see almost zero chance the bans are reduced though
  19. Vinícius Júnior Ruptured knee ligament probably out for the year eeeeeeek that makes it more likely they go for Eden in the summer
  20. They lose this by 3 or 4 and surely Solari is sacked tomorrow
  21. it should be 3 nil (one VAR overrule was legit) RM is shell shocked
  22. GOOOOOOOOAL Valladolid this one stands
