  10. Everton interested in Tiemoue Bakayoko https://sportslens.com/everton-interested-in-tiemoue-bakayoko/271792/ Everton are expected to sell Idrissa Gueye this summer and they have lined up Tiemoue Bakayoko as a potential replacement. According to French Journalist Saber Desfarges, the likes of Tousart, Tameze and Gbamain are being looked at as well. It will be interesting to see who the Toffees end up with eventually. Bakayoko was on loan at AC Milan last season and despite a tough start, he managed to win over the fans. He ended the season as one of Milan’s better performers. The 24-year-old Chelsea midfielder will want to prove himself in the Premier League next season and if the Blues do not provide him with that opportunity, he might be keen on a move to Everton. The former Ligue 1 ace is a fantastic talent who needs his confidence back. If he manages to adapt to Silva’s system, he could prove to be a great signing for Everton. Initially, it might seem like a gamble but Bakayoko has the talent to do well in England. It will be interesting to see if Everton are willing to take that risk and sign him from Chelsea. snip
  11. He and Mattias Svanberg (20yo CMF at Bologna) are our two best young players, yes Nygren has massive upside pacey, good height (1.84m), cannon shot deffo one to watch he just turned 18 a couple weeks ago he tore up the Allsvenskan (our version of the EPL) when he came in last year, 15 games, 6 goals, 4 assists so I am glad to see him go as he played for one of our team's (AIK here in Stockholm) biggest rivals, IFK Göteborg I would have LOVED to have him play for AIK, but he is a Göteborg (Gothenburg) lad, has been with them and a feeder team since he was 5 years old. He also is superb on our U17 and then U19 national teams and plays a lot of striker there 27 games 11 goals, 11 assists at national team level for IFK, he played (since 2017, partly at lower level and then main) 52 games and scored 41 goals Racing Genk is a great move for him the big 5 Belgian Jupiler League teams (Anderlecht, KRC Genk, Club Brugge KV, Standard Liège, and KAA Gent ) are superb at player development

  14. Cole snubs Mourinho when picking best Chelsea boss https://www.goal.com/en/news/cole-snubs-mourinho-when-picking-best-chelsea-boss/19d6wgb7phzgq15nj12c3x3lmy The former Blues defender enjoyed success under the Portuguese coach in west London, but considers others to have done more for his game Ashley Cole has snubbed Jose Mourinho when selecting his favourite Chelseaboss, with Carlo Ancelotti considered to have been the “number one”. The Blues were transformed into a dominant force domestically and serious contenders on the European stage by the legendary Portuguese coach. Cole, though, was to move to Stamford Bridge as Mourinho’s first spell at Chelsea began to unravel. The former England international did taste FA Cup and League Cup successes, but had to wait for a first Premier League title with the Blues. Ancelotti, as part of a double triumph, delivered that and Cole believes the Italian is the finest manager he worked with in west London. An iconic left-back who spent eight years with Chelsea, told the club’s official website when reflecting on his career: “I think the managers who suited my style were more attacking, which is how I had played at Arsenal. “When [Luiz Felipe] Scolari came in I felt at my best. I felt I blossomed under him and got back to playing with confidence. “Ancelotti was my number one. We played with tactics, obviously, but he gave you a freedom and I was able to attack. That double season in 2009-10 was probably my best season. “It was the most I scored in a season, I felt I was unbeatable in defence and was linking up with others well. “I had a great relationship with Florent Malouda on the left wing, JT [John Terry] next to me and Frank [Lampard] on that left side of the midfield three. I was able to make runs in behind and was always in dangerous spots inside the box.” snip
