hell of a first season? we must have been watching two different players, and Inter are my favourite Italian team, so I do watch them a fair bit he only had 2 (and one was a pen) goals all year versus quality teams (AC Milan (a pen) and Napoli, where he came on with 7 minutes to play and did score the game winner) He didnt start a single CL game only had 2 assists all year as well the rest of his goals were against dregs ( 1 v Rapid Vienna in the EL ( a pen), 2 v Benevento in a 6-2 rout in the Coppa Italia (Benevento is Serie B, and in their entire 90 year history have only been in Serie A for one year), 2 in two games versus Cagliari (missed relegation by 3 points), 1 v Frosinone (relegated), and 1 v Parma, who also missed relegation by 3 points)

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS Sutton United v Chelsea U23s PSF 27/7/19
-
indeed Levene is a nob lol at this
-
it was their inhouse bindipper channel they are delusional Chels TV is actually pretty balanced and they do not pull punches if someone is bollocksing about Milner could literally stop in the middle of the game and take a shit on the pitch and they would say what scouser heart he is showing
-
not sold on Martinez at all yet, but he may have a big year and could change my mind so short too (1.74m) and I do not see Sergio Agüero-type movement from him yet to compensate
-
rather him go to Arse (which fucks them from fixing that horrific back 4) than to Manure IF Manure pull Pepe, swap out Lukaku for Dybala or Icardi, sell Pogba and pull SMS, and land Harry Maguire (all massive asks) I will, at that point, REALLY start to worry We caught another big break in that Mr. Glass (Bailly) shattered yet again I have no idea how a CB who looks like poured liquid metal is so so fragile
-
too much summer bangers and stoemp, and speculoos equals an extra full stone plus on
-
hell yes!!!! or Piatek (If he has another monster 30 goal year for AC Milan he will cost £100m plus, unfortunately) or Iñaki Williams from Athletic Bilbao OR and what do you think of him as our striker Zaha? I think Zaha would tear shit up under Lamps as a CF (he played 17 games there for Palace) or am I being too clever by half?
-
Aaron Jarvis?
-
I would have loved to see Barkley get a go at CF for a half, and yes, I think he can play winger too. I am just not sold yet on any of our 3 strikers as being a great production area. It is going to be the number one issue all year unless one steps up. That assumes Rudiger comes back healthy soon, as we SO miss him at CB. I am NOT sold on Zouma at all. He has been the biggest disappointment in pre-season for me (we all knew Donkeywater, Donkeybaka and Alonso were shit before a ball was kicked).
-
Kepa, Rudiger, Emerson, Azpi, and Kante are the only 100% locks to be starters in most all games given a completely healthy squad. Hopefully CHO and Pulisic soon get there too. Alonso offers almost nothing other than free kicks and height. Maybe an occasional goal, but so does Emerson, and his pace, defence, and crossing BLOW Alonso away
-
He should go back to the MLS, surely a yank team would love to have him, he is a part-time USA national team starter.
-
every one of those listed, regardless of the age in which they played, would be monsters today, plus, they themselves would have the advantage of today's technology I have seen people say Eusébio, Jairzinho, Alfredo di Stefano, Gunnar Nordahl, Ferenc Puskás, and Garrincha, etc would not be absolute top 10 players in the world today if they played now. I say that is profound tosh.
-
they are absolute shit here (with Bellerin still injured, NONE listed are good enough) most imbalanced top 25 team on the planet atm, Lyon was, but they added a superb young CB in Joachim Andersen (and are still shopping for another), and also a decent Ferland Mendy replacement at LB in Youssouf Koné, plus they lost 2 massive MFers in Fekir and especially the monster (I so dread facing him at Spuds) in Tanguy Ndombélé so are a bit depleted up front (still massively dangerous and the did also get Thiago Mendes to replace Ndombélé, plus a potential star in a 21 yo Brasilian CMF from Flamengo in Jean Lucas) (can play RB, but makes mistakes there far too often)
-
beast! and Franz Beckenbauer, arguably the greatest centre back ever 1.81m Franco Baresi 1.76m Bobby Moore 1.78m Daniel Passarella 1.73m Ricardo Carvalho 1.83m
-
still injured Derby may want him https://www.thewistle.com/2019/07/06/derby-county-eyeing-summer-move-for-marco-van-ginkel/
